So, we would send a "message" to ask the question and wait, usually at least a day, to get an answer. Sometimes the response was clear and sometimes it wasn't! If not, then we had to send another "message." Consequently, the process drug out much longer than it would have if we had been able to communicate with a person. There has to be a better way of conducting business where loan applications are concerned.

Not sure what purpose these people had, but it has the appearance of a Navy Federal jobs program. Stood in line for 10 minutes with the same people being helped by the tellers as when I had walked in. Not a good look or good experience Navy Federal. I have heard some nightmare…read morestories about customers having to contact the bank to request, in advance, sums larger than $3000. Luckily, for me, I didn't have to deal with that. I had to do a last minute withdrawal that far exceeded $3000 and they were able to handle the request. The teller was nice. Especially, for having to work on a Saturday morning. He even gave me his thoughts on the Compass Coffee next door when I asked. I told him I had never been there before and I was thinking about giving them a try. His assessment was spot on. There were no long lines at the branch. Actually, I was the only customer in the branch at the time. This was perfect, because I was a little pressed to get in and out. This location also gets extra stars because they have sufficient parking, including handicap. The only reason why I did not give five stars is because the teller, accidentally so, told me that the Bank of America branch up the street was open on Saturdays. Once I got there, they were closed. My bank was not going to release all the funds right away which is what I need, So I went to the bank the business told me about. I was welcomed by 3 different people when I walked in. I went to the counter where Nieng helped me. She asked me for my drivers license, looked at the account, and asked me If I liked The manager. I was like yes he was very nice. I found this reassuring that the bank knew the manager on this level from a business. She returned a couple minutes later asked how I wanted the money and cashed the entire check with no fees. I was taken care of quick and easy. What a great day.. Started out crappy but got good after great service at 2 different places.
