It is a 1 mile track around, and they have markers every quarter of a mile. This made for the perfect place to enjoy a quick run! Now, I can't speak for the inside of the activity center, but the outdoor public facilities are really great. The track is well maintained, and I liked that there were emergency call boxes on the track, although I felt that the area was pretty safe. They have a section of the park with some outdoor lifting equipment and there are tennis courts on the backside of the park, which are totally free to use. I really enjoyed running here. We did a quick 2 mile run on a Saturday morning, and there were a few other people, but it wasn't overly crowded. I enjoyed the scenery, and there was plenty of parking. I would definitely recommend!

Open from sunrise to sunset, the park features a lighted basketball court, two lighted tennis courts, a large picnic shelter that has grills and a water fountain, a quarter-mile walking track and a playground. The playground is quite large and is on a sand base. Swing set, climbing frame, monkey bars. All the stuff you need for your toddlers to burn off some energy. There is street parking. Granted I moved right as the first lockdown occurred and society was cautious concerning human interaction, but I should have taken advantage of this resource sooner. I will start by clarifying that the community center attached to the Park has not been open since at least 2020. I was told by one commissioner that it is unable to be reopened until structural repairs are made to the building. This, much to the dismay of my neighborhood, includes the adjoining swimming pool. But hopefully that will all be taken care of soon. Also, the children's area is not particularly where I find myself enjoying time here. Instead, the baseball field, walking track, and basketball court are where I have recently found respite. The baseball field is mostly grass at this point so it serves as a almost completely secure space for my three dogs to run around. I know that's not the original purpose, but for now that is how I use it. The walking track is not quite a quarter mile, but close enough that 5 laps will get you there. I am sure parents/guardians appreciate that it encompasses the playground so they can watch their children play while getting in some exercise. I prefer mornings if I am putting in a few laps, due to the quiet and the lower temperature. The basketball court is technically four, all parallel. This provides an adequate number of hoops for those who want a full game and those who just want to work on their free throw. As for me, it serves as a spot to work on my three pointer (ugly, but effective). I have yet to use the pavilion, which is covered and has two grills with tables and benches, but the next time I plan a larger gathering of friends that will be the spot. Parking is ample and the Parks & Rec Department does a great job keeping the area clean and mowed. Also, it is only three blocks from downtown! So if you are ever in the area, stop by and unwind. That's what it's for.

They have several benches stationed around the track. Warren Road Community Center also offers several workout options for indoor. They have an instructor that teaches BeastMode, LoudCrowd, Belly Dance, Karate, Zumba and Yoga. You can also utilize the tennis or basketball courts. There's also a great playground for kids too! There aren't a lot of parking spaces, so it could get crowded on days/times when classes are going on.

Getting to the park is fairly easy too, as there are two entrances to two different parking lots. The park is close by the Columbia County Fairgrounds too. The training is fundamental, not at all gimmicky and will translate well to actual games. Trainers are professional and nurturing, as I've mostly seen them with younger kids. Definitely worth taking your kid if you are looking to get them into a legit training atmosphere. My daughter doesn't play volleyball but from what I've seen all aspects apply to the volleyball training as well.

First of all, you don't just drive up to the place. There is a security guard at the entrance of the neighborhood. They make sure you are supposed to be there and then give you a temporary pass for where you should be headed. That said, once you're in you can drive around and check out the beautiful homes. But you will want to hurry and make your way to the Country Club. As you pull up, you will immediately think of antebellum homes in the deep south. The colossal columns, the broad entrance way, the detail to botancials around the building. It is the foreshadowing of what awaits inside. The carpet, the lighting, the crown molding on the interior might have you questioning how much the meal is going to be. Every team member is quick to ask if you need help with anything and have a historic knowledge of the Club and the course. My meal of salad with lightly fried chicken tenders, boiled asparagus, and housemade churros and ice cream made me wish I could order an entire second round. But I didn't want to be greedy (again, it was a meeting setting). I will be looking for an excuse to visit again soon. You should do the same.
