Decided to try Wally n signed up for 6 mos. It's been about a month and we are super satisfied!! Already feeling a lot better and the results are slow as we just started but they're coming. Got him to give us his nutrition guidance which is great info. His trainers, when Wally isn't there, are great and his clients have all been very friendly. BL - def recommend if you need help like we do.

Let me start off by describing Wally. He is one of those charming people who can get away with…read moresaying anything because he does this in such a respectful, motivational and genuine way. You can see he genuinely loves what he does, and more importantly KNOWS what he is doing, not just because he knows the science, but also because he has years of experience of watching muscles being molded. He makes the gym routines work. The gym itself is well equipped, and small enough that everyone is watched. You prepay for a fixed number of days (you choose) every month, everything is transparent, and you get circuit routines designed by Wally every week; which can modified for someone post-physical therapy or for someone training competitively - this is where the trainer's watchful eye comes in. While consistency is key to any fitness routine or gym, a good trainer and a friendly community can make this change easier, faster and injury-free. One of the best gyms in Augusta!

Took my 7-year old son to camp here for two summers and LOVED it. I particularly loved Ms. Spencer,…read morethe main camp instructor, who is also a teacher during the school year. She makes sure she added educational aspects to the program, which is really important for me. A camp day is divided into various activities. Ms. Spencer also provides the parents a detailed list of how their day is broken down and a weekly itinerary. They play board games, exercise, do arts and crafts, and learn martial arts every day. Specific days of the week they go on field trips----movie theater, splash pad, museum, nature walks, etc. Oh and dont forget Friday show-n-tell. I had my child enolled at the YMCA before I found Greubels. I immediately cancelled my membership when I found out that my son was sitting on the basketball course at the YMCA for the entire day doing NOTHING despite the catalog-list of activities they "sold" me to get me to sign-up. Switching to Greubels was the best decision I made for both my son and I. Greubels has a small child to coach ratio and really works hard to ensure the program is balanced between mental and physical stimulation. They're always looking for new ideas and ways to provide a more creative environment for the children. I'm not really sure about some of the other reviews on here regarding the camp. It's not physically possible for an adult to be doing martial arts from 6:00 in the morning till 6 o'clock at night---let alone a child. I would encourage others to be cognizant that this is CAMP. Kids in camp are supposed to play board games and color and watch movies and just have fun. Some parents should have expectation management--- summer camp is not the place for your child to be the next fighting champion. So, if additional training is important for you, they should have considered enrolling their child in actual classes in addition to what camp offers as many other parents do--- which is even better because you get a discount off camp. My husband and I both work, so finding a camp that has a balanced program and one that offers early drop off and extended pick up hours (without extra charges) is really important. There are not a lot of options out there, which make Greubals really a great place to send my child. They know my name. They know my son's name and we are ALWAYS greeted when I drop my son off or pick him up. Ms. Spencer even remembered my son's bday 3 months after camp had ended and sent us a note to wish him a Happy Birthday. It was so touching! This year there were a lot of birthday parties and all the kids became friends and celebrated outside of camp too. When I pick up my son, he was always so excited to show me the new moves he learned in class and tell me about his day. Greubels has made my son incredibly happy and that is priceless for me. This had been a great experience for the both of us.

They are nice people but I think they are ignorant to their business practices, which is not their…read morefault. More focus is put towards signing a very expensive contract. No need for a contract. Focus should shift towards producing a solid martial arts gym. They do offer a month to month and a walk-in one day pay option, but expect to pay much more. Until they change course I would find another gym that is more casual

This gym is absolutely the best! Zachary Morris knows anatomy, fitness, best practices for…read morereaching one's goals, and he can work with anyone from 18 to 90. The gym is super clean, and it has all the equipment one would need to build strength, lose weight, and develop stamina. Zach is friendly and personable, but don't let his warm smile and ability to converse fool you. You only talk on your one minute rest break between sets. If you want to just socialize, this is not the gym for you. If you want to achieve your fitness goals with a patient, encouraging, and knowledgeable trainer, Advanced Personal Training is what you are looking for. I have been working out with Zach for one year. My first three months I worked out twice a week; the last nine months I work out three times a week. The gains I have made are noticeable not only to me, but also noticeable to my family and friends. I was always intimidated by large gyms, and the one-on-one attention I receive at Advanced Personal Training is beyond compare. Reasonable rates, too!

As a new comer, the staff was welcoming and helpful in ensuring I knew the basics and recommended routes to take that would be beneficial for a beginner and definitely had fun doing so. They also have military, student, or first responder discounts and that includes admissions, shoes, and harness; price was very fair. This place certainly had a wide array of equipment for even power lifting, ninja warrior stations, bouldering walls, and plenty of rock walls. You do have to be certified by them to belay on your own, so I stuck with the auto belay walls; just wish there were a little more selection of auto belay walls. Overall, I had a great time and rather you're a beginner or experienced, highly recommend this place if you're into bouldering or wall climbing.

There is a designated kid area with really easy climbs so bring your kids here for exercise or birthday party!! There is also a table tennis and conditioning areas which I use when I'm too tired to climb. I do wish the bouldering area was bigger and had more beginner friendly routes but it might be that i'm just really weak lol. The day pass and the membership price are average for climbing, overpriced if you are expecting gym membership price but so worth it if you like climbing. Overall, an amazing place to visit with your family in the Augusta area!
