Our two youngest children (boy age 8 and daughter age 12) went to Greubels for summer camp this year and had an awesome time. My husband and I did a lot of research on summer camps before finally deciding on Greubels. In the past, our children have attended summer camps as part of their daycare, the boys and girls club, and even the YMCA. As working parents, we were really sold on the hours that Greubels offered. The martial arts lessons, list of activities, and small class size were a very big plus for us. Our children were kept engaged with exercise twice a day, arts & crafts, and board games. My children really loved going on the field trips to the museum, the movies, the splash pad, indoor pool, etc. They also went on nature walks and went to see the Green Jackets play. The instructors at the camp were always very pleasant when we dropped off and picked up our children. When we first called to ask about the summer camp, we were invited to come by Greubels to see the facility. While we were there, our children were given a 15 minute session on the different types of exercises and an overview of the day to day schedule for the camp. Since our daughter has a cognitive delay, having Mrs. Spencer (who is also a certified teacher) there was invaluable. At the end of each day, my 8 year old always had that one last thing he wanted to do and was rarely ready to leave. My husband and I really liked the fact that the children were not allowed to just sit and play electronic devices all day. They learned a lot about the other children attending the camp and made some new friends along the way. My children were invited to birthday parties and other activities outside of camp as a result. We were very pleased with the summer camp program at Greubels and highly recommend it to other parents looking to keep your children active and involved during the summer months! read more

Grebuels has good instructor's but bad customer service individual. I had the misfortune of assisting a friend in picking up their child here: the very young lady who greeted us seemed nice and smiled; we thought she was a nice young lady. But when an older rotund female came in; the 2 of them started disparage 2 other patrons of this establishment. First children could hear the conversation and secondly, those patrons one black female with child and then another patron white female with child pay the young lady salary. This young lady who works there wore glasses, very young and very thin spoke extremely harsh of the patrons and even potted about doing things that she and the short rotund female felt would make them uncomfortable. Initially I had planned on enrolling my kids; but not now. I've discussed this with my friend whose child I was picking up and he said it wasn't uncommon. That young lady is a representative of GREBUELS , so disparaging your customers and in front of kisses and other customers is ridiculous. So since I've seen their version of customer service; they won't get my service. My friend had also stated he will be taking his child elsewhere. The manner in which that young lady spoke, she needs to be fired. It looks as if Grebuels is endorsing her behavior, since she represents that establishment. read more

Regardless of whether you are experienced, completely new, looking to compete, or just be healthier, this is the place for you. Can't say enough nice things about this gym. Not only are the workouts fun and better than any workout you could get at a normal gym, but the gym really starts to feel like a family. I have made friends there that push me to train harder during workouts, keep me motivated to come back, and just make the whole experience more enjoyable. The coaches, along with being superb and among the best in the nation, are very personable as well and really care about you meeting your goals. I started coming here a few months ago and it has been the best decision I have made since I've been in Augusta. I was recovering from a serious injury and nervous about working out again with the potential for re-injury. The coaches are extremely knowledgeable and were able to offer me substitutions for any exercise that would bother it. I am now feeling much healthier, happier, and my injury, while still there, has actually drastically improved since I started training again. read more

I absolutely love Greubel's. All the staff has treated my family and I like their family. My husband and I have trained at this facility for several years and 2 of our 5 children (the other kids are too little) have also trained in the kids department. My personal favorite class is the cardio kickboxing, only because I can tell each muscle group gets a workout on different days and after 3 months a I noticed a HUGE difference in my physique. The beginners and intermediate/advance kickboxing classes are also great. That's when the instructors really make sure you are doing things correctly. Even the circuit training is great, that's where I started. Greubel's is very challenging and has been an excellent support system to me and my family. My husband is one of many competitive fighters that the facility has. And the children's department is great! I can't say enough about how much my family has appreciated the love shown to us. I started in Nov2017 and havent looked back this place is the spot to learn to fight train and get in shape. There is a lot of variety and options, from BJJ, MMA, boxing, tae kwon do, and more. The training is great for beginners (kids too!) to learn new fighting techniques and also for seasoned fighters who want to fine tune fighting skills. The instructors are amazing, Marc, Bernard, Edgar to name a few, have lots of experience and knowledge. Circuit training is my favorite it challenges you body in multiple different ways, if you want to push your body, do the circuit training. I have been to a few MMA and BJJ gyms, none have had this much variety. At Gruebels you have options to do one or do them all. The facility is clean, has showers and a locker room which is great for me to get on to work in the morning. They have boxing bags, BJJ mats, a boxing ring, circuit training area and an upper floor as well to watch. Lots of parents come to watch their kids in the afternoon. Greubel's MMA is a great gym that offers a plethora of activities, including different mixed martial art classes with top of the line instructors, classes for kids, personal training, parent's night out, and summer camp. In fact, I am honored to be the Head TEACHER for Greubel's summer camp this year! I have the pleasure of working with an awesome group of kids, who enjoy a jam packed summer of weekly field trips, daily exercises, group activities/games, martial arts class, and arts and crafts. I am glad I'm not a babysitter, but I actually interact with and engage the students. Playing board games and group games, like dodge ball, with the kids takes me back to my childhood, and I get to have fun with them in games I haven't played in a while. I have been going to Greubel's for 4 months now and I feel like I am part of the family. The instructors are simply amazing. No matter how large the classes can be, the instructors are all really good at giving each person one-on-one time, almost like having a personal session. They are always encouraging, professional, and easy-going. I have tried almost all of the classes offered and they are all consistently high quality, regardless of who is teaching it. I have been coming to the 6:30 am class for the past 10 years and honestly couldn't start my day without this workout. Not only does the actual workout change daily to prevent boredom but we have formed a workout "family" who calls to check on you should you not show up for class. There are beginners as well as pro boxers in our class and although we all work at our own pace and strength, we work as a cohesive group cheering on the newcomers as well as each other. I've been going here now for about a month. A new goal I promised myself for 2018. Right now I am currently learning beginner kickboxing and it has been amazing! Everyone there is so friendly and helpful with teaching you the right moves so that you get the most out of your training and doing it correctly so you don't hurt yourself! Greubel's MMA is awesome. I was so nervous for my first class and convinced that I would be awful at kickboxing but every one of the instructors I've met so far has been extremely patient, encouraging, and they make you feel like you're practically with family. It's also an incredible workout and a lot of fun (especially for someone who is not fond of cardio/running). The time just flies by when you're in a class and you will leave feeling pumped and better than when you walked in. Greubels is a fighters gym. Always have someone to spar, variety of sizes and experience levels. Best schedule because they have classes in morning and at night. All the coach's have vast experience. They don't just teach what they know, they build off what kind of style you have. They help you with fight strategy, as well as health and conditioning. I have to say that this is one of the best mixed martial arts gym I have ever been to! Marc does a terrific job with all of the students in class. He is very knowledgeable about the content that he is teaching as well as very hands on when it comes to teaching the different techniques. My son is taking jujitsu along with kickboxing. He has been taking these classes for a couple of months now and I can already tell a difference in his behavior and his focus.
