This class was held at Total Wine & More and, like always, it was a great experience. The classes are typically around 20 people, which makes it feel social but not overcrowded. They set you up with a simple grazing spread in the back -- cheeses, crackers, olives, salami, pepperoni, and bread -- plus water at your seat, which is always appreciated when you're tasting multiple wines. For this class, we tasted about 5-6 sparkling wines. The instructor was super friendly, engaging, and made the whole experience fun -- lots of laughs, very relaxed, and honestly just a great way to kick off a Thursday night going into the weekend. Now for the wines... I'll be honest, sparkling still isn't really my thing The only one I truly enjoyed was the first one -- a Bellini, which was on the sweeter side. The instructor mentioned it wasn't his personal preference since he leans away from sweet wines, but for me, that was the standout. That said, I would absolutely take another class. Even when I don't love every wine, I always walk away with more knowledge and a better understanding of what I do (and don't) like.
