The location of this Virginia ABC Store is in Landstown Commons an area I frequent. It is directly in front of YNot Pizza off Princess Anne inside the strip which can be confusing to navigate. There is plenty of parking and the lot was clean. The store is is average to a bit larger than others. They carry everything you could ever want, however harder to come by items can be out of stock as I found. The staff was fantastic on their recommendations. Also they provided information on when the truck would arrive to get one of the six bottles of Blanton's Bourbon. I like this store better than ones by my home and plan on being a regular. 4.5 rounding up with killer customer service.

Parking will never be a problem. The kit overall was clean with minor debris. There was also a broken down car with flat tires. It had multiple stickers and tickets on it from the city. The store is attractive with newer brick facade. The walk up was tidy with no debris. The store is on the smaller square footage size. I found it clean and organized. The clerk acknowledged me when coming in and asked if I was looking for anything. The selection of bourbons was not overly impressive, but they did have a few harder to find products such as Sam Houston 15 and Eagle Rare 10 that I was interested in. Checkout was smooth and friendly. I chatted with the staff about bourbon a few minutes and was my way. I would recommend this store and although not close to where I reside would return.

I decided to take a chance on purchasing three small 200 milliliter bottles (chi chis brand pineapple margarita, Jose Cuervo strawberry lime margarita, and Jose Cuervo Watermelon margarita). The three bottles were a good bargain for how each drink tasted (there is still plenty left in each of three bottles, though next time I drink any of them I might mix them with another fruit juice because each of these three bottles packed a powerful punch for them being very small and even with the small amount I consumed).

It wasn't until after I stepped up to the cashier they decided to open up a fewer items line. Nevertheless, come in here! There's a parking lot that is shared with a host of other places due to the location being a shopping center. But parking should not present a problem at all. There is a pizza place or two located in the center alongside a Chinese Restaurant, Subway and others... Don't forget your MVP card. Located in the Great Neck Village Shopping Center off Great Neck Road and Mill Dam. Customers will find plenty of parking and the lot was debris free. The walk was also tidy as the staff opened the door for me. This has been a new COVID policy to enforce mask use, but also nice to be greeted. The shop is on the smaller side, but packs a lot of inventory in too! The bourbon section which is where I always head straight to was decent, not overwhelming. I saw a few staples, but only one semi hard to find, Bookers which they had to my surprise seven bottles in their signature wood case. The layout is very straightforward and the staff has done a great job keeping the stock organized and business clean. I checked out with a Michters SB for $41. This bourbon is typically a great seller and readily available. Since Virginia controls their prices it's as close as a customer can often get to suggested retail. The staff was helpful and friendly. He offered a suggestion on a next purchase. This store will not be in my regular rotation. If they offer a more rare selection on a Monday shipment I may call to confirm product and pick up. Often rare items cannot be held. Check them out if in the area.

The location is visible off Ferrell Parkway in a strip. The store is on the corner of the building. Parking is plentiful and lit clean. This was delivery day so the store had some nice allocated bottles of bourbon. Boxes were on the floor as they rushed product up the best they could. It appeared they were short staffed, who isn't these days. I found what I was looking for in a Knob Creek 12 year and a EH Taylor Small Batch. The manager checked me out and was friendly. She discussed a few things going on with Virginia ABC that was helpful. This is not a regular, but recommend and would happily return.

During the 10 minutes I was in the store I watched this man be very disrespectful to the employees and customers. He was telling the employees to "Just shut up and do what I say." I must've heard him tell the two guys working the registers to "shut up" at least five times.... they weren't even saying anything in the first place! He was also just shouting orders at the customers entering the store. The store was busy because it was 10 minutes before they closed so Mickey was trying to get everyone out of the store so he could close up. Around 6:55 he told the 2 men working the registers , as well as the 4 or 5 people waiting outside that they would be the last customers of the day. A younger black woman that was waiting outside didn't have a mask, so he told her that she couldn't come in. At 6:58 - About 3 minutes after he stated that there would be no other customers, a middle aged white man approached the door and said "All I need is 1 bottle of Jack Daniels" and pretty much begged to be let it in. **THIS GUY DID NOT HAVE A MASK AND MICKEY LET HIM RIGHT IN- NO QUESTIONS ASKED.** As the man entered the store, the younger black woman that Mickey denied entry to made a comment about how she was not let it because she didn't have a mask - just 3 minutes earlier. Mickey reluctantly let her in the store. She told him that what he did was not fair. I agree with her. It seemed blatantly racist. All of the customers in the store also agreed. Once the other customer started to chime in , Mickey started to say , "Oh, here we go again...." That guy literally didn't see anything wrong with what he did. This is ridiculous and needs to be addressed immediately.

He made it known that they were getting ready to close, but did it in such a humorous, good-natured way that I never felt rushed or unwelcome. I was there to restock my home bar, so I ended up buying quite a few bottles and had several questions about different liqueurs I was looking for. Justin was incredibly helpful. For one they didn't carry, he actually looked it up and told me which nearby ABC store had it in stock. He also helped me find a couple of other liqueurs that they DID have that I had completely overlooked. When it was time to check out and he saw my small liquor store's worth of bottles , he had someone bring up a case so everything could be packed together securely. They even offered to carry it out to my car for me. I declined, but I really appreciated the offer. And despite me walking in at 5:50 with a shopping list, a million questions, and apparently plans to restock an entire bar, I was out the door by 5:58 p.m. So I didn't even make them stay late! All in all, a great experience. Huge shoutout to Justin for being patient, knowledgeable, helpful, and having a great attitude the entire time. I'll definitely be back!
