They didn't look at me as if I had 3 heads, they just smiled and let me use their stapler (and own to label my documents). Highly recommend this Harris Teeter. Located in the Providence Square Shopping Center in Kempsville. The store is West side of the strip with excellent signage. The center is updated and has plenty of parking. No debris in the area or upon walk up. My arrival was just before noon and there was a line. Any bourbon hunter knows what this means. It's Monday truck day and some hard to find bottles are ready to be pillaged. I learned it was STAGG Jr. today which is rare. The store was clean and organized. All of the new stock was on shelves. The line was orderly and when opened precisely at 12 PM customers made their way to a box of 12 STAGG Jr. I got the next to last one. Price retail is just under $60. However secondary market hundreds. This was a great day for an elusive bourbon. Checkout was socially distanced with the staff protected by plexiglass. No issues with my gift card transaction. The clerk was friendly and knowledgeable. Another staff opened the door for my exit. This will not be a regular store with distance from my home. However if they have certain stock I cannot find elsewhere I have no issues visiting them again. I created a collection of area ABC stores that users may find helpful.

They also have a designated online order area but I'm not sure how much faster that would be considering they didn't have many people in the front of store to help out, but I did notice a help button at that counter that would alert someone that you were waiting. They also have wine accessories (bottle openers, bottle holders, etc.) and small snacks like nuts and candy. I will definitely be back because of their wide selection of wines and efficient setup. I am an Uber driver and briefly pulled into the curbside pickup area while completing a pickup. An employee named Lucy approached me in a very aggressive and unprofessional manner. She raised her voice, pointed her finger at me, and told me I would be "banned" for parking there. While I immediately moved my vehicle once informed of the policy, the way she communicated was very confrontational and felt threatening. Afterward, I asked to speak with a manager about the interaction. I was directed inside, where I spoke with a manager who confirmed the curbside policy regarding Uber drivers. My concern was not the policy itself, but the employee's tone, body language, and overall behavior. I also noticed that shortly after this interaction, a white male driver pulled into the same curbside area and did not appear to receive the same treatment or confrontation. As a Black woman, this raised concern for me and left me feeling uncomfortable about whether there may have been unequal or biased treatment in how the situation was handled. I am also a regular customer at Total Wine & More, and I was disappointed by this experience. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and addressed appropriately so all customers and drivers are treated with respect and consistency.
