This was delivery day so the store had some nice allocated bottles of bourbon. Boxes were on the floor as they rushed product up the best they could. It appeared they were short staffed, who isn't these days. I found what I was looking for in a Knob Creek 12 year and a EH Taylor Small Batch. The manager checked me out and was friendly. She discussed a few things going on with Virginia ABC that was helpful. This is not a regular, but recommend and would happily return.

During the 10 minutes I was in the store I watched this man be very disrespectful to the employees and customers. He was telling the employees to "Just shut up and do what I say." I must've heard him tell the two guys working the registers to "shut up" at least five times.... they weren't even saying anything in the first place! He was also just shouting orders at the customers entering the store. The store was busy because it was 10 minutes before they closed so Mickey was trying to get everyone out of the store so he could close up. Around 6:55 he told the 2 men working the registers , as well as the 4 or 5 people waiting outside that they would be the last customers of the day. A younger black woman that was waiting outside didn't have a mask, so he told her that she couldn't come in. At 6:58 - About 3 minutes after he stated that there would be no other customers, a middle aged white man approached the door and said "All I need is 1 bottle of Jack Daniels" and pretty much begged to be let it in. **THIS GUY DID NOT HAVE A MASK AND MICKEY LET HIM RIGHT IN- NO QUESTIONS ASKED.** As the man entered the store, the younger black woman that Mickey denied entry to made a comment about how she was not let it because she didn't have a mask - just 3 minutes earlier. Mickey reluctantly let her in the store. She told him that what he did was not fair. I agree with her. It seemed blatantly racist. All of the customers in the store also agreed. Once the other customer started to chime in , Mickey started to say , "Oh, here we go again...." That guy literally didn't see anything wrong with what he did. This is ridiculous and needs to be addressed immediately.

(You def can't present documents to the judge that are unorganized!) I coulnt go to UPS store since they're not opened until 8am. So some great idea came to Mind to try customer service at Harris Teeter - first because they open early (yes!) and I recall their customer service. Sure enough I approached them and said "I know it's unconventional but can I use your stapler" (no purchase necessary lol). They didn't look at me as if I had 3 heads, they just smiled and let me use their stapler (and own to label my documents). Highly recommend this Harris Teeter. Good customer service is hard to find nowadays. Especially when it's not their mission to make their office supplies available.

I am an Uber driver and briefly pulled into the curbside pickup area while completing a pickup. An employee named Lucy approached me in a very aggressive and unprofessional manner. She raised her voice, pointed her finger at me, and told me I would be "banned" for parking there. While I immediately moved my vehicle once informed of the policy, the way she communicated was very confrontational and felt threatening. Afterward, I asked to speak with a manager about the interaction. I was directed inside, where I spoke with a manager who confirmed the curbside policy regarding Uber drivers. My concern was not the policy itself, but the employee's tone, body language, and overall behavior. I also noticed that shortly after this interaction, a white male driver pulled into the same curbside area and did not appear to receive the same treatment or confrontation. As a Black woman, this raised concern for me and left me feeling uncomfortable about whether there may have been unequal or biased treatment in how the situation was handled. I am also a regular customer at Total Wine & More, and I was disappointed by this experience. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and addressed appropriately so all customers and drivers are treated with respect and consistency.
