This is a local convenience store in the vicinity of my work place, when I think of convenience I think of this store. Why, you ask? The day we went they were only offering cold items nothing g from the fryer or grill so we couldn't try anything g else. The ordering process is pretty casual go up to the counter tell the cook what you want and then pay. We went on a Sunday so there was a longer wait and everyone seemed to be ordering the same thing. Everyone was friendly and talking while waiting so it was an enjoyable wait. I wanted fries but since the fryer was down I got the spicy wholeshabang chips. The sandwich was good. It was a nice balance of cheese meat and veggies. It's serve on white Texas toast so it's a thick sandwich. It also comes with a pickle spear. Very tasty and definitely something reminiscent of a childhood sandwich you'd have on the weekend. If I was in the area and wanted a sandwich I'd stop thru and get this again but it's not something I'd go out my way to get. However those chips. Omg!!! Run don't walk. Pick up the big bag not the little one like me. You are going to want to eat the whole bag in one sitting. They are like a spicy version of the all dressed chips but a much better version. Just talking about them makes me want to go get some. Overall the meal was good. Try it if you are in the area.

My wife had a fish sandwich which was pretty good. My boss had a sirloin special which looked pretty good although I didn't eat it. First impression, well you have to be a member first obviously and non members can't pay. And it's cash only. The place is little dark but the smell is smokey. People are allowed to smoke there and it smelled like it was a place that allowed it obviously. The vent that took smoke out of the place was pretty loud and it was hard to hear what my boss was saying. Like I said, cheap food, nothing great but nothing bad. It's a rare hard to find bottle that had been released over the past week in Hampton Roads. After this week the bottle will not be seen until next years release. I was lucky enough to score one on Tuesday too! The Regional Manager Sharon was at the store today helping them out. She peeked out to confirm they had the rare Fitzgerald bottle in stock. A few other customers soon followed to wait in line. Approximately six stores were allocated three bottles each today. At noon the doors opened and I was directed to the Old Fitzgerald on the shelf. Typically the store does not bother shelving the most rare bottles because it's gone in seconds. However the proper way to do it was done today with oversight of the regional manager. Checkout was smooth and I also received the box it came in. The items is pricy with tax $145. Secondary market it runs $500+ It was a good day and the store was impressive on customer service.

Hubby and I were thrilled because one is opening near our home outside of Charlotte, NC. Make reservations! This place was packed and we quickly figured out why. Everything is so good. We didn't quite figure out the "lay of the land" but there appeared to be a designated place for tasting that was packed. We enjoyed looking at the "wine toys" while we waited for our table. There are sooooo many unique things that I can't wait to purchase from a location closer to us when it opens; traveling with glass didn't seem too smart. Our server was great and I wish I knew her name to shout her out. Ask to sample any wine you're curious about. And let me say... the sampling pours are more than just a sip. I was astonished! I chose the red flight as rendered. Everything was good. I'm not a fan of Spanish reds and should have substituted that one. Next time! They are so conscientious about food allergies and preferences that you can customize everything (except the jambalaya). I already knew before arriving (because I look at menus ahead of time) that I was getting the scallop and shrimp risotto, especially after I learned I could have it without the disgusting peas and asparagus (but with extra spinach.... I do love some veggies). It was AMAZING and will probably be the dish I always end up getting at the Indian Land, SC location when it opens. No room for dessert so you'll have to read my next review for that. 10/10

We also decided on the House-Made Meatballs (another favorite), the Crispy Barbacoa Arancini, which is a "featured" item, and the Classic Cheeseburger. While we waited, we chatted with others at the bar and since we all wanted to sample the Wine of the Month, the Blanc de Noirs, our bartender was able to provide us with a tasting, which we enjoyed.
