Walk in to find high racks filled with different varieties of wine. In a center display at the front of the store are various types of accessories, stoppers & mixology supplies. Arranged by variety of wine, one can easily locate their preference & browse. A shopping cart, of course, is required. If you feel overwhelmed upon entering, friendly & knowledgeable employees will guide you to the area housing your preference. Should you have a glass of wine at a restaurant that you really like, asking for the name or taking a picture of the label is a good idea. You can then check Total Wine to see if they stock the item. Most likely you'll find it there. Another option available to purchase is to order delivery from Instacart. It's always a quick & accurate delivery, The location is the Hilltop area of Virginia Beach. The store sits in a prominent large end space in the Shopping Center located on the NW corner of the intersection of First Colonial & Laskin Roads. Parking is plentiful. A plethora of shops & eateries are in close proximity. If you're a wine lover & haven't made a trip to Total Wine, you're missing quite a treat,

Pop Open a Party (Sparkling Wine Class) I'm not usually a…read morebig sparkling wine person, but with summer coming up, I figured it was the perfect time to give it another try -- and honestly, I just love taking wine classes here because I always learn something new. This class was held at Total Wine & More and, like always, it was a great experience. The classes are typically around 20 people, which makes it feel social but not overcrowded. They set you up with a simple grazing spread in the back -- cheeses, crackers, olives, salami, pepperoni, and bread -- plus water at your seat, which is always appreciated when you're tasting multiple wines. For this class, we tasted about 5-6 sparkling wines. The instructor was super friendly, engaging, and made the whole experience fun -- lots of laughs, very relaxed, and honestly just a great way to kick off a Thursday night going into the weekend. Now for the wines... I'll be honest, sparkling still isn't really my thing The only one I truly enjoyed was the first one -- a Bellini, which was on the sweeter side. The instructor mentioned it wasn't his personal preference since he leans away from sweet wines, but for me, that was the standout. That said, I would absolutely take another class. Even when I don't love every wine, I always walk away with more knowledge and a better understanding of what I do (and don't) like. And of course... it's basically impossible to leave without buying something. I ended up grabbing a few mixers (triple sec, watermelon, and butterscotch), all very reasonably priced. Between the huge selection (they even carry ice wines, which I love), friendly staff, and consistently fun classes, this is a spot I'll keep coming back to. Bonus: Lexi is always welcome, which makes it even better

Few still even know they are there and the business is just off two busy roads. Find them in the Birdneck Shoppes in between Laskin & Virginia Beach Boulevard. The store is one of two anchors and signage is exceptionally good on the building. This Virginia ABC has a fresh new look and is inviting to customers. Parking is nearby and the lot has been clean. The interior although clean, bright and extremely organized with displays is a letdown on size. The bourbon area particularly has less shelf space than others. However still a strong inventory of favorites. They also have a refrigerator offering cold alcoholic items such as Jack Daniels Honey. What has elevated the store is their fabulous customer service from staff and female manager. Twice the manager has went above and beyond to assist me with harder to find allocated bottles. Although this is a store that I could easily drive to from my home it's not one that I will frequent with nearby Hilltop being superior on bourbon inventory. That should take nothing away from one of the newest and cleanest stores in Virginia Beach.

Yelp has the wrong address and it's been reported. Plenty of parking and the lot and walk up tidy. There is curbside service by calling the store. All of the ABC's offer online ordering as well, but no delivery. I got to the business a few hours early and was #1 in line for Old Fitzgerald 14. It's a rare hard to find bottle that had been released over the past week in Hampton Roads. After this week the bottle will not be seen until next years release. I was lucky enough to score one on Tuesday too! The Regional Manager Sharon was at the store today helping them out. She peeked out to confirm they had the rare Fitzgerald bottle in stock. A few other customers soon followed to wait in line. Approximately six stores were allocated three bottles each today. At noon the doors opened and I was directed to the Old Fitzgerald on the shelf. Typically the store does not bother shelving the most rare bottles because it's gone in seconds. However the proper way to do it was done today with oversight of the regional manager. Checkout was smooth and I also received the box it came in. The items is pricy with tax $145. Secondary market it runs $500+ It was a good day and the store was impressive on customer service.
