Their customer service and product knowledge are amazing. I had no idea what the difference was between a barrel whiskey vs. A regular one. My brother wanted a certain type, and I just thought it was a common offering. I learned a lot about how whiskey was aged and what the difference was between the brands on the top and middle shelves other than the prices. HeeHee! The parking lot is huge, the area is well lit, the landscaping is full of flowers right now. You will enjoy the vast amount of variety at the location. Management is great and everpresent on the floor to answer any questions, I love that.

Last year, the manager Bill was amazing and taught me everything about my kegerator! His advice was top notch. I remembered he transferred and I found him in Chesapeake! One call and Bill had everything I needed lined up! I drove 103.6 miles round trip just to get the best and most knowledgeable help in Hampton Roads! Bill delivers service with a smile and makes sure I don't get the run-around... ever. At least three of your staff told me, "I can't". Bill said, "Absolutely! I can!" And he did! However it's always about who has what and the drive can be worth it. I continue pushing ahead to visit Virginia ABC's in the 757 and provide up to date photos and reviews. I called a head with travel and traffic on a Friday. The two clerks were very nice even though in the midst of unloading a late truck. They confirmed a bottle I was looking for. The business is located on the right side of the strip as you face it. Plenty of parking and the lot was clean. Signage was good at the storefront, however I never saw on the road. The floor of the store is pretty small and the bourbon area smaller than others too. I asked the staff for the Bardstown Discovery I was looking for and was led to it on the shelf. Checkout was efficient using my card. All the staff wore mask. The clerk let me self package with COVID. Over a $100 it's necessary to sign. Not a store I will most likely come back to with distance and tolls, but it's a good option. 3.5 rounding down.

The staff had the hard to find bourbons on the counter for quick grabbing and it was being grabbed! I got a few bottles and customers walking in behind did the same. This Virginia Beach store specializes on harder to find bourbon, but does not have a large amount of shelf space as the store is tiny. The stock was clean and organized and floors clean. Checkout was smooth with my credit card processing easily. The staff was nice to talk bourbon with. I plan on using this store in a regular rotation although it's not close to my home.

Located in the Great Neck Village Shopping Center off Great Neck Road and Mill Dam. Customers will find plenty of parking and the lot was debris free. The walk was also tidy as the staff opened the door for me. This has been a new COVID policy to enforce mask use, but also nice to be greeted. The shop is on the smaller side, but packs a lot of inventory in too! The bourbon section which is where I always head straight to was decent, not overwhelming. I saw a few staples, but only one semi hard to find, Bookers which they had to my surprise seven bottles in their signature wood case. The layout is very straightforward and the staff has done a great job keeping the stock organized and business clean. I checked out with a Michters SB for $41. This bourbon is typically a great seller and readily available. Since Virginia controls their prices it's as close as a customer can often get to suggested retail. The staff was helpful and friendly. He offered a suggestion on a next purchase. This store will not be in my regular rotation. If they offer a more rare selection on a Monday shipment I may call to confirm product and pick up. Often rare items cannot be held. Check them out if in the area.

They are only open Friday 4-7, then Saturday and Sunday from noon to 7. So be mindful of that before driving all the way down to the beach. I wish they were open during the weekday, would be nice little after work hangout spot to catch a flight or two. The flights are $8 each and you get to choose 4 options. You can't beat that. I usually get two flights making my total $16 and I leave with a nice buzz. The customer service is really good. Our bartender carried on a conversation with us and kept us entertained. She's engaged and I'd like to wish her a happy wedding day. Over all I will continue to visit this spot, when open b/c I love how low key it is. Please note major construction going on currently around the distillery so may have to take a detour to get to them.

My friend and I ordered our flights and enjoyed our tastings. Some we enjoyed more than others but it was still a good time and the drinks were very strong. My favorite was the Watermelon Ghost Margarita, which was made with fresh, watermelon juice and tequila with smoked ghost pepper. While at the Distillery, you can purchase bottles to take home or simply order a cocktail to enjoy. If you're near the Oceanfront, grab some friends and definitely stop in.

Checkout is quick and my cashier even loads almost all my bottles in a box for me. Mission accomplished for $200!
