Scottish Wee Heavy

Still a great place with great beer! Get the Scottish Wee Heavy! One of my favorite offerings by TBL.

$10 Flight

Jay was an exceptional beertender! Service was prompt and friendly. There is a $10 flight option to help you try out their beers. I was very happy with the Station 12 Red and the Wee Heavy. There is a great culture here between staff and guests. I tip well for that. You need to checkout the restrooms and bring your phone. That's all I'll say!

The best brewery in Virginia Beach hands down. The beer is amazing and it's the cheapest. They brought some OG beers back to the menu and damn they are yummy. I highly recommend the Badge Hunny, Hops-N-Robbers, Stash Strong and for something super light the Hard time with a splash of Raspberry. The brewery is very unique, a must see.

I love everything about this place. Everyone inside is super nice (that included staff and customers), they're supporting people who serve our country and communities, the beer is local and delicious, they allow dogs, and the ambience is a delight. I came here with a group during a work trip and we had a great time. The bartenders/brewers really know their stuff and can talk at length about the beers they have on tap. They have games to play while you enjoy your beverage, an impressive patch wall, and plenty of indoor/outdoor space. You're allowed to carry in food and there's an incredible taco place next door. I would come back in a heartbeat.

One of the cutest little breweries, they have an amazing patch wall and lots of donated history from VBPD and fire stations. Definitely make sure you check out the themed bathrooms! They have a HUGE seltzer selection that they make to order! My favorite beers on tap are currently the Station 12 (malty red) and Stache strong (east coast ipa). The owner and all the staff are super knowledgeable and welcoming you almost feel like family. On Tuesday the taco place next door does buy one get one street tacos, what could be better than tacos and beer! Definitely adding this to my list of favorites.

Great customer service Julie. The two customers you had were rough.

Great customer service Julie. The two customers you had were rough. Beer and local restaurants are good. ... And they have a dog park. Awesome

Came here with my brother on a vacation visit. Great place, dog friendly and awesome beer. Can't say enough good things about my experience here, hope to be back soon!

Attended USCG retirement reception, the venue was opened for a private affair, the staff was super friendly, they assisted with helping us get everything set-up. If you're looking for a space to host an event, this is a nice set-up with plenty of of parking. The venue covers two suites with a bar on both sides. They do not provide food but they do allow you to have your event catered. I'll have to checkout the vibes by visiting one evening...I'll let you know after I return.

Good beer and kid friendly! I like variety so I always get a flight. Their IPAs and Stouts were delicious. Plenty of things for 20 month old twins to stay occupied! Lol

Love it! Badge hunny

Been here quite a few times now to try all the beer and so far I love it! The white line and badge hunny are my favorites but they constantly release a new beer rotator each week. They collect local art and police related objects by donation which is pretty neat. My favorite thing is that they do the dog of the day which is obviously amazing. They support police, fire, ems, military and teachers which I support so shout out to them! They have a board where you buy a drink for one of the above mentioned and when they come in, there's a free beer waiting. I think that's amazing. Of course this place is getting a bad rep due to everything going on in the world (like the other BS review Kate aka Karen made because she's assuming of all police related places are racist) but they're still standing strong and they should be supported just as well. Thank you for offering great service and beer!

Nice spot tucked away in a shopping center less than five minutes from our campsite at Virginia Beach KOA. They are extremely dog friendly with bowls and fresh water available and their new green space. Good variety of beers on tap, something for everyone in your party. Thin Brew Line is owned by a retired police officer and by purchasing several of their beers, portions of sales are donated to help support local organizations. For instance, the White Line supports volunteer rescue squads, their dry Irish stout supports the VA Beach Police Foundation, and their Kolsch-9 supports the Retired Police Canine Foundation.

Although we still enjoy coming, it is realistically only for specific moments such as a nice warm, sunny day for the kids to run around, enjoy some live music with adults socializing, or for moments when the wife and I want to recap our evening with a tasty beer, especially being how close we are to the establishment. But that is also a reason why we have slowed down, being how close it is but yet how busy it's gotten. Or the fact that we can hang in our backyard and still get a good feel for the live performances they have, which is another reason why we don't go over as often. The price for some of these concerts and special events is pricey! We feel like we could go to the Amphitheatre with how expensive some can get, and lots of times, you can barely get in or it's closed for private events. Not that it is bad, just inconvenient at times. The food is also a reason. Although it is very nice to have a main kitchen, prices and some quantity sizes are not that great. I recently ordered the fish and chips and was extremely underwhelmed. I am not one that likes to send things back, but in this case, it was agreed upon and taken care of immediately. I do recommend the wraps, which seems newer to the menu. The service, managers, and staff are great but as far as dinner, (it's not terrible so don't get me wrong), we would prefer to eat elsewhere and enjoy the other vibe this place offers. It's convenient to have this establishment nearby, especially during the summer and fall months, when the atmosphere is particularly enjoyable. Overall, we love having this establishment close to us.

(Sours, stouts etc.) I had the kookaburra beer and it quickly has become one of my favorites. The Grape Gatsby was served only in a can, but was also delicious. I am a big fan of sour beers and this brewery hits the mark. The brewery itself is definitely a more open brewery. There's a quick line on busy days, but the bartenders are quick and efficient and make the line move. The bar itself has picnic table like seating and a huge open area outside, with each table having a QR code for food/beer etc. This last time, I had the pimento grilled cheese, with tomato soup and it's the perfect snack for a winter day. When heading towards the bathroom, there was a huge chalkboard of posted events coming up as well as another section for events. I really do like a brewery that has events in the area to make people come and visit and it gives people a chance to experience cool events in the area while having a familiar place to go afterwards or before. I Came here for coffee one morning, and the coffee as well was excellent. I enjoyed the 007 which is a shaken espresso, Highly recommend! They also have pastries, we got the blueberry scone, chocolate chip scone and the cheese danish. All were great and tasted fresh. Not what you would expect from a brewery in the morning, but it was well worth the trip. The brewery itself was at a low volume and had great sunlight peeking through for a great coffee in the morning. Parking was a bit rough when it was busy on a Saturday afternoon, but there was a separate lot if you can't find parking in the main one. We only waited about 10 minutes for a spot and it ended up not being too tight.

A great way to socialize and enjoy the warm weather. The drink options look great, from beer, to mixed drinks, to even coffee. However, we didn't have a chance to try them this time around. We came in for a late lunch, the menu has some great options. Unfortunately, my food came out about 15 minutes before my husband's, so we couldn't really enjoy our meal together. 2 meals, no drinks (not even a soda), and 2 sauces came out to around $40. Honestly, I wouldn't pay that again for the portion of food you're getting. For food at this price point, I think there's better places. However, the vibes are great and this is an awesome spot for drinks. Definitely recommend for drinks & hanging out!

Super friendly, knowledgeable, and more than happy to let me taste a few different options before committing. That alone sets the tone. I ended up going with the Pick of the Liter American Lager, and it was exactly what I wanted: light, crisp, refreshing, and easy to drink. Nothing overcomplicated, just a really solid lager done right. The vibe is what really stands out here. I love the German-inspired atmosphere. It feels warm, welcoming, and relaxed without trying too hard. It's the kind of place where you can hang for a while, have a conversation, and not feel rushed. Add in the fact that there are dogs on the walls everywhere, and I was fully sold. As a dog lover, this was a huge win. Even though I didn't eat this time around, I was definitely eyeing the food coming out of the kitchen. The pizza in particular looked really good, and it's 100% the reason I'll be back soon. If the beer and service are any indication, I have a feeling the food is going to deliver too. This is a great spot whether you're a craft beer fan or just want a chill place to grab a drink!

I came this day with my friend and her kids and they had a blast playing with all the other kids outside. When it comes to drinks, they do not disappoint. They brew both beer and cider, and the variety means there's something for everyone. My seasonal favorite is the Witch of Pungo Pumpkin Ale. It's smooth, balanced, and packed with just the right amount of fall flavor. Enjoying one of those by the fire pits as the sun goes down is about as perfect as it gets. You order and pay via QR code right from the table, which is very efficient and honestly should be the standard everywhere at this point. I ordered the chicken tacos, fries, and a blackberry mojito. The drink was excellent. Really refreshing and well balanced. The tacos were good too, although I've had them here before and the chicken was noticeably a little dry this time, which isn't usually the case. Still good overall, just not quite at the level I've had here before. The fries were... fries. They did exactly what fries are supposed to do. Another plus: there's a water station near the kitchen where you can grab your own water whenever you want. Small thing, but convenient. The big issue for me was the live music. There was a band playing covers and they were decent, but it was unbelievably loud. Like "lean directly into the person next to you and yell your sentence twice" loud. If you're coming to drink beer and vibe with loud music, you'll probably love it. If you're hoping to have an actual conversation with the people you came with, it's a bit of a challenge. Overall still a solid spot for drinks and casual food, but next time I might check if there's a live band scheduled before I go.
