This location is conveniently located beside Safeway, so there no way you can forget your chaser unless its something Safeway does not carry. The location is always clean and easy to navigate. The staff is helpful as well. Typical of a VA liquor store, the usual liquor suspects are locked up so you have to ask for those as needed. Upon my visit here on a Saturday evening, they where doing a tasting of some sorts in the side back room that I caught a glimpse of as I was walking back to my vehicle. I wish I would have caught it while I was actually in the store, but it was one of those things that if you didn't know it was going on, you surely would have missed it. So clearly, I will keep my eyes wide open next time! Lastly, if you are looking for locally made and crafted spirits and wines they do have some on display at the front of the store, nice variety too! The theme is pretty much the same, the store is easy to navigate and you are close to guaranteed to find whatever you are in the mood for. All the favorites or frequently bought liquors are locked up so you have to ask for it. Staff is friendly and ready to assist if need be. Store is always clean and there is plenty of parking.

I live there as a kid but then had moved down with my family to the Northern Virginia/DC area. I took this most recent trip to see a friend at a birthday, a major birthday at that. Much like the trip itself, this has convinced me that where I am now is home. There is no place like Boston. So why do I bring this all up? Well, for anybody local reading this it is a little bit of a culture shock to have a state ABC center where you can buy hard liquor and spirits. Here where I live we have a package stores that we could just simply go and buy them that are independently owned and operated, not controlled by the state itself. No for anybody from north of Virginia going down there, the state ABC store is kind of unique experience. You walk in you see all the hard liquors categorized by liquor type rows upon rows of it. They do except out-of-state ideas if anyone is concerned. I found the staff to be friendly, I asked about one specific type of whiskey which is hard to find. They did not have in stock. however, I need to buy a nice bottle of wine which I plan to use to celebrate with family this upcoming Thanksgiving. I can highly recommend this location, and I imagine the other locations are the same standards.

They even have a cool trivia night. Unfortunately, the service there is not the best. Be prepared to wait an hour to get your food if you come most nights. Some of the servers literally just sit and talk to guests instead of working the room. It's truly unfortunate. Today I waited a whopping hour and a half before I got my food.
