    Pretzel
    Mike T.

We went there on a Saturday afternoon and hoped to enjoy a beer or two with food from the food truck. The place was open and airy. Unfortunately even though we arrived an hour after they opened the food truck never came. We subsequently ordered a pretzel ($13) which was a bit pricey but it was quite good and large. The beer was also good with a good selection. I recommend this place and will probably be back sometime in the future.

I did Highmark & 6 Goats back to back. Both were fun, but unique in their own way. Highmark is more aligned with the type of small craft breweries I'm accustomed too; kinda hole in the wall-y, with a garage door they open on warm days. Dog friendly, and they served small dishes of Mexican fare too. They opened Feb 1st and got very busy, very fast. So fast they ran out of most of their beers! They can only do ales, as a lack of cold storage makes them unable to do lagers. But their brew master seemed very keen on trying some small batches at home, so there's still hope. For a while they only had a 4 tank system, but had just installed 2 more. What I tried: River Rock Stout: Very smooth, and the favorite of the day. Freshwater Blonde: My notes fail me, but I know I liked it a lot as well. More of an easy drinking beer. Since they were short on beer, their friends at Maltese Brewery gave them an assist and allowed them to sell their Blood Orange, Fire Engine Red, and 'Merica (all of which were excellent). I'd like to say more, but with only 2 of their own beers to chose from you can only say so much. But if what they have is representative of their future beers I'll be back more often.

We hosted a bridal party here and everyone was so helpful and relaxed. They let us bring in our own food and rearrange as needed. Beers were great and service was quick even with our large party. They regularly have live music and other events. Seems like a great place to have a date night or host a party.

So a great place to be on a Friday night when it is 65 degrees outside is Highmark Brewery! We were visiting the area and looked at Yelp for a brewery and we chose Highmark as our first stop! Everyone was outside playing corn holes and frisbee and enjoying a cold beer and hanging inside and outside of the brewery. Live music was playing indoors but with the large garage doors open, it was heard out in the parking lot. The bartender helped us with a cigar/beer pairing. Everyone was very friendly and we loved the beer and the atmosphere.

Open mic on Thursday nights, some great musicians - great lady on mandolin doing Led Zeppelin, Uriah Heap, Steve Miller.

3 bartenders, 5 people waiting to order, and not one person is greeted? Walked right out, not the customer service that was expected.

We stopped in for their Mother's Day brunch thinking it would be a great way to sample a variety of items, but unfortunately the experience didn't match the price or expectations. The positives first, service was good overall, the staff and our server was friendly enough. The beer selection was easily the highlight of the visit. Even as casual beer drinkers, we could appreciate the variety they offered, and the flights are a great option for anyone wanting to explore different styles. The food and buffet itself, however, was disappointing. The eggs were mass-produced and had an odd flavor, the roast was dry and fatty, the sausage had an odd texture, and the mac and cheese was soggy. Most of the other items were just average, and nothing really stood out. Unfortunately most of the family wasn't a fan wasn't able to finish or eat, with most of kids left hungry, which was frustrating considering what we paid per person. That alone made the experience feel underwhelming. We may give the regular menu a try someday, but based on the buffet quality, our expectations are definitely lower now. Overall, we'd come back for the beer and atmosphere, but we'll likely pass on the food moving forward.

He took the time to explain everything in detail, which gave a great appreciation for how much goes into making their bourbon. After the tour, we had the opportunity to taste several of their bourbons, which was definitely a highlight. Each one had its own unique flavor profile, and it was a fun and engaging experience to compare them. Overall, a great stop if you enjoy bourbon and want to learn more about the craft. Just be prepared for a slightly longer tour, but it is worth it for the knowledge and tasting experience.

We had a bit of time to browse the store before the tour started. The tour was about an hour and included a free tasting. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and led us through the history of Virginia's oldest distillery. He was a bit hard to understand and talked VERY fast, which made it tough to absorb much of the info. However, for a free activity I enjoyed it. The best part of course was the tasting at the end. We were led through how to taste the spirits and given water and crackers as palate cleansers. We tried one of their gins, two bourbons, and the caramel bourbon cream liqueur. The bourbon cream was delicious and so smooth! I really liked the gin as well. We all ended up buying at least one bottle, so I'd say it was a success.

They did a phenomenal job creating such a magical atmosphere--I honestly wish they could keep the decorations up all year . While waiting for our table, we grabbed seats at the bar and ordered cocktails. I had the prickly pear margarita, and she ordered a cider sour. Both were fantastic, though I wish the bar had mentioned the holiday cocktail menu earlier. I didn't learn about the festive drinks until we were seated and our server, Lindsay, walked us through the winter specials. The "Sweater Weather" cocktail sounded amazing (white tequila and coconut milk ) and is definitely something I'll be back to try. We stuck with our go-to appetizer, the goat cheese bruschetta, which was delicious as always. For entrées, we went classic brunch: the hangover burger and the shrimp and grits. My girlfriend loved her burger, and Sedona's shrimp and grits remain one of my absolute favorites--perfectly seasoned and cooked. Even though we were full, we couldn't pass up the seasonal dessert, tiramisu. It was the perfect size--just enough to share without pushing us over the edge. Lol. Another successful meal at Sedona! The service is consistently top-notch, and our server Lindsay was hands down the best--knowledgeable, attentive, and with an amazing personality. We loved her so much, we wished she could've joined us for brunch. The manager also stopped by a couple of times to check on us, which we really appreciated. If you haven't experienced Sedona yet, you are seriously missing out. And definitely ask to sit in Lindsay's section!

First, let's start off with the wait. I'm used to waiting for a table at Sedona especially on a Saturday, but today the wait was extra long. Once we sat and ordered appetizers it took over 40 minutes to get our apps. To make matters worse our nachos came out with the cheese not even melted and with barely any protein. Seeing as this was not the first time I ordered nachos I was extremely upset. To address the issue I had to leave my outside table and walk inside to the hostess to see if they could locate my server as she never came and checked on us. We didn't see her for over 50 minutes :-/ The only star of today's lunch were the Thai glazed wings. My husband ordered the land and sea and steak was overcooked. My devils pass pasta was okay, but extremely greasy. The manager did stop by to offer something for the nacho issue which we appreciated. Sedona you need to work on hiring more staff to make things run smoothly. You seem to be understaffed in the kitchen and on the floor. We left feeling extremely disappointed and will not be returning for a long time. Also forgot to add that the strawberry tres leches cake is extremely dense and flavorless. Did not enjoy and do not recommend.

We were able to order whatever drink we wanted on the menu. For food, they brought trays out buffet style. We tried a variety of things. The star of the show was the Brussels sprouts. They were cooked to perfection and had a great sweet sauce. I enjoyed the salad too. They also brought out wings, mini burgers, mini fried chicken sandwiches, and tuna.
