They have extremely efficient and pleasant personnel and the most reliable internet service I've ever had, with reasonable prices (that never get jacked) to boot....kind of the opposite from the ratbastard telcos you're used to. I cannot recommend them highly enough and if you're fortunate to be in an area/building where their service is available, you'll be sorry if you don't sign on.

Having been with a single service provider for over a…read moredecade one tends to be vary of the new upstarts when it comes to an essential service like internet. I was curious on switching my ISP as the fees kept creeping up and even with my well negotiated contract I was looking around for a new service source as didn't know what options I would have when renewing. I will give dotto one kudos for being persistent as after they initially got my contact they kept following up and even made it an easy decision to switch to their service with the penalty from the current provider. The installation was smooth and was done within an hour. I have a somewhat complex setup at home with some legacy equipment blended in with new tech. There was a technical glitch with the hardware on the legacy tech that made me connect with their support line a few times. They are quite helpful and being a smaller operation you even get the people who have dealt with your issue before hand. Believe me it's a big time saver not having to explain the issue again and again. With a few adjustments and troubleshooting on both ends I am satisfied with the service I have. I will update in the long run but so far a solid service. Update for long term usage. It has almost been a year and the service and support have been rock solid. A rarity IMO for the service industry in Canada. I am talking about no service calls requests after the initial issues, billing. The tech support went out of their way to help me out with a tech issue I was having initially. Updating to a 5 star rating (rare feat)

Scum Scam company. Claimed they could provide me good internet at a fair price. Got set up and was…read morepulling less then dial up. Previously had rogers who they share lines with and had zero issues, so I know it wasn't a issue with my lines or anything. Phoned and spent hours on the line with tech support. They blamed rogers, the weather, the day of the week, the color of my socks you name it. Then they had the audacity to tell me its because my Ethernet cable going directly from there modem into my computer was longer then 3 feet and that was causing the signal to decay. I have a degree in computer sciences and can tell you why that's untrue. So can google. When i phoned support , they demanded i install any desk and let them into my computer unsupervised. Same process as the Tech support scammers, no thank you. After months of me troubleshooting my own internet cause they were to inept to I cancelled my service. I sent the modem back the day after i requested cancellation and returned all my equipment. The day after I had sent it out they charged me hundreds of dollars for "Equipment fee's". I called them the moment I saw this and was assured I would get a check in the mail the moment they received my equipment as they didn't have the ability to refund my card directly. Odd first legit business I have ever heard of that can process payments through a credit card but cant reverse said transaction or refund directly. So I wait. 3 months goes by and a check shows up in the mail. I'm a bit frustrated but figure all is well that ends well. Turns out the check has been backdated by over a year, and no bank will cash it. I have been mailed a expired check... I call in and I'm told that their accounting department has to fix this and ill get an email as they are to important to take phone calls. I wait and wait, a month goes by no email. I call in a 2nd time same song and dance. This process continues for 1.5 years, I keep calling and getting people that cant comprehend basic English and the run around. To be clear this isn't discrimination, I don't care who they are, what culture they are or what they believe, its an issue of not being able to preform the job. Exact same as me applying for a job where I'm doing customer service for a language I don't speak or understand, I wouldn't have the skill set to preform it due to a skill issue, not anything else. Feel free to read other reviews for confirmation of this, and confirmation of lack of bias or discrimination. I finally get an email from someone in their "accounting department", apologizing that I HAVE caused them an inconvenience (after they have committed fraud and theft), telling me that I have Alzheimer's ( which i can assure you I don't, and my doctor can confirm I'm much to young to have) and have used my time machine to cash the check before I even had started service with them. I emailed in multiple times telling them no this isn't the case, even sent them a photo of there expired check they sent me as I hung onto it. Nope they claim I am a time traveler able cash checks before they are issued. 3 Years later I haven't seen a cent of the money they stole from me. Apparently I traveled back in time cashed my expired check spent the money, time traveled back to the present and wiped my memory of ever doing so and caused myself to catch Alzheimer's 30 years earlier then most. Or they scammed me. Ill let you pick which is more likely. For the record I do not own a Delorean, nor am I friends with Christopher Loyd. Make the right decision and vote with your wallet.

Move to new place May 2nd. Call customer support to setup internet in new place. Turns out I need a…read morecoaxial cable installed. Agent says he can't book that day, but to call again tmr? Call May 3rd @8:48pm to setup technician appointment. Wait for 21 minutes before giving up, will call again tomorrow. Call May 4th @4:28pm to setup appointment. Agent tells me I'm actually booked in for a visit May 4th 4-8pm? Was never told this would happen but welcome and convenient! Call back @7:48pm and wait for 30mins for Agent to tell me I was never setup for an appointment and quoted a system error? No problem, figured it might not happen today. Agent helps to setup appointment for May 5th 4-6pm. Call on May 5th @5:51pm and wait for 20 minutes for agent to tell me i was never booked for May 5th 4-6pm, but rather I'm booked for May 6th 4-8pm - again, without my knowledge. Time doesn't work for me, re-arranged for May 7th 8-12pm. Asked for a confirmation email before hanging up, and it was the only time I received confirmation by text/call/email for an appointment. After 6hrs of waiting for a technician that was never coming, I'm afraid that number will become 10hrs soon. There has to be something wrong with the booking system, please fix so nobody else has to go through this. It might even help your 30-minute customer service queues if I don't have to call 5 times in 4 days :)
