This is a short term review for this ISP. Having been with a single service provider for over a decade one tends to be vary of the new upstarts when it comes to an essential service like internet. I was curious on switching my ISP as the fees kept creeping up and even with my well negotiated contract I was looking around for a new service source as didn't know what options I would have when renewing. I will give dotto one kudos for being persistent as after they initially got my contact they kept following up and even made it an easy decision to switch to their service with the penalty from the current provider. The installation was smooth and was done within an hour. I have a somewhat complex setup at home with some legacy equipment blended in with new tech. There was a technical glitch with the hardware on the legacy tech that made me connect with their support line a few times. They are quite helpful and being a smaller operation you even get the people who have dealt with your issue before hand. Believe me it's a big time saver not having to explain the issue again and again. With a few adjustments and troubleshooting on both ends I am satisfied with the service I have. I will update in the long run but so far a solid service. Update for long term usage. It has almost been a year and the service and support have been rock solid. A rarity IMO for the service industry in Canada. I am talking about no service calls requests after the initial issues, billing. THE best internet provider in Toronto PERIOD I've been with them for several years and I have never had a single problem. They have extremely efficient and pleasant personnel and the most reliable internet service I've ever had, with reasonable prices (that never get jacked) to boot....kind of the opposite from the ratbastard telcos you're used to. I cannot recommend them highly enough and if you're fortunate to be in an area/building where their service is available, you'll be sorry if you don't sign on. read more

Would never recommend Dottto one. Cancelled after a month of nothing but trouble.(multiple service interruptions) and a tech department that blamed my device for the problems.Also they do offer any type of credit(unlike the big three telecoms) and this is where they fail to differentiate themselves.They also will not disclose their "service" guarantee as I had to find this out on an advertisement in my apartment lobby. Thank God I chose not to get their home phone service as when the network is impacted you may not be able to make outgoing calls(at least with a cellular network if the internet is down you may still be able to make calls).Also glad I didn't cancel my cellar service as I now use my phone as a modem(hotspot) to watch movies on my tablet.No problem there and no lags or buffering of any kind. I wanted to write this review because these guys really do deserve the best rating possible. Just went through a hardware upgrade of my modem/router and it reminded me why I like these guys so much. Not only did they take the initiative to call me personally that they wanted to upgrade (for free mind you), they showed up - early! And they don't give you appointment windows, they'll show up at the stated time (or even earlier if you're lucky like me yesterday). Having been a customer for a few years now, I can also attest to their rock solid reliability. As a former Tech Savvy (and effectively Rogers) customer, I'm amazed at how much better Dotto One's performance is. As a brand new customer, I was impressed with their installation services. I was a Bell client and was told by the Bell tech I couldn't get a signal in my kitchen where the copper wires are in my condo. Well, Dotto-One sent their technician, Mansoor Z. who was able to find a signal and came prepared with all the gear needed, plus he did a very clean installation, and helped me set-up the range extender at the proper location. I can't say enough of how pleased I was with Mansoor's pleasant and polite manner, plus his neat work. I have yet to test the network stability in the long run, but I think Dotto-One is the answer for people who appreciate price and service. read more

I was really hesitant to make the switch to a relatively unknown ISP. I was very concerned that I wouldn't be getting the support that you get from the 'legacy' providers. I have been using Dotto-One for the last 6 months now. Apart from the download and upload speeds (which are incredible btw), what's impressed me most is the reliability. So far, zero downtime. I am average computer user and when some of my neighbors had advised me to switch my internet provider to Dotto one I was a little skeptical . I really feel satisfied very much with Dotto one services and enjoying it from the beginning. First of all, the Dotto one internet works faster comparing to my previous provider and for the less price; Secondly, the people doing their job with heart and caring about their customers( what is really matters); You may call at any time and they explain whatever your need is. Finally , what impressed me the most was the man ,who came to install high speed internet,he was so accurate to do his job , very knowledgeable and with a wonderful personality. I've been with Dotto-One for just over 2 years and absolutely love their service. In the past I have used Rogers, Bell, Primus, and Wind mobile stick: and haven't experienced any issues with their services. Their Internet is FAST, RELIABLE, and so AFFORDABLE. I've been bragging to my friends, whom pay much higher prices for double the cost, since I joined. Plus, there are no data caps. I never have to worry about streaming, gaming, or downloading.
