The phone was on warranty when they got it. They didn't send it in for repair, and held it for about 4 months. All the while they ignored my emails about getting the phone. Finally returned the phone after warranty expired and it had not been repaired at all. I contact google and they won't repair it out of warranty without a cost. And this company has gone back to ignoring my contact.

I walked in with a cell phone I had purchased from the online, pulled it out of the sock I had it wrapped in, and said, "I need this to work with Wind please." From there they walked me through the different types of plans, led me to the cheapest one that would do what I needed, and went so far as to put the SIM card in for me (which I was worrying about - because my phone knowledge is almost non existent. They got me up and running on their WIFI, then showed me how to turn that off and use the data through the network. They also told me who to harangue if my cell number wasn't ported over (another process they made easy.) The only thing to be aware of is they assume people can not pass credit checks, and will suggest phones - and plan types - based on that. This is probably beneficial for most people, but it is something to be aware of.

I was with them for 3 months and had to switch to a different carrier because I couldn't handle my phone only working 70% of the time. Wind Mobile has the best rates in town, which is what drew me in, however YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. Here is what I experienced in my 3 months with Wind: -Terrible reception -Text messages that didn't go through -Complete loss of network -Dropped calls I switched carriers today, and am so so so happy. It felt good to only pay $50/month for unlimited everything etc. But it feels even better to have a phone that works all the time, as it's supposed to.

I have found that the staff here is clearly a franchise so they are very interested in making sales. They cancelled my home phone and promised to give it back within ten days; Didn't happen. Resistance at every turn; putting me on hold for (usually for min.) forewarned; I harrased berated and abused agents mercilessly. until 2 weeks later an escalation person gave me telephone number of John who stopped the service within 1 Min. He promised to send return documents; by the time I got off of the phone He had hung up and the service was stopped. Telus cut the coaxial cable so a technichan had come to repair that .Telephone help; was a joke; Hours and of hours listening over and again to the same Music that you,ve heard in elevators or waiting rooms. I am getting at least 10 calls a day. I went back to Eaton center try to explain and wanted to meet manager but sales staff said she is at back storage room but she cannot meet because she is looking after store retail not cellular service.
