Can be tricky in Roscoe Village, especially during some of the neighborhood/chamber events I'd suspect, but work it to visit this great little business district.

My goodness....I always forget how cute this boutique is! Unfortunately, I can't buy anything in normal boutiques right now due to Baby R, but as soon as I shed those pregnancy pounds later this year p45 will be one of my first stops. Our sales gal, Tricia, was beyond helpful! She wasn't pushy in the least bit and really wanted to make sure my friend absolutely LOVED her rehearsal dinner dress. She ended up finding us a beautiful dress that was just perfect...and on sale (score!). She even gave my friend heels, a strapless bra and stockings to try it on. They really have it all here! Sitting next to Kat, we instantly start chatting up and talking about the neighborhood and our trip. We're in Chicago and then heading to Vegas for a festival which I still don't have an outfit for. And as luck would have it, she says she works at Felt around the corner and we should definitely head over! We head over to the magical world of Felt and meet the magical Lindsay. Lindsay was my fairy godbestie. She listened to where we were going, my style, and my body. I recently lost weight so I don't have lots of clothes or much style. Clothing shopping has always been tough for me. Lindsay pulled together pieces for me and set up a room. Cue the early 2000's movie changing room montage. Also did I mention the free champagne?! So I'm switching in and out of outfits for my partner and Lindsay to look at on the couch and big mirror which my partner and I drink champagne. I didn't even give Lindsay my sizes (because I don't even know my size anymore) and yet almost every piece fit. And every piece was a different size, medium, large, different numbers, etc. like is she a wizard?! We left the store with summer shorts, an awesome blue, strapless top that ties in the back, and a white skirt with black polka dots for funsies for work (great material, holds it's like 60s waves and is double lined so not see through) Not only did I walk out of there with clothes, but I walked out of there happy, with CONFIDENCE, and a beautiful sense sisterhood. Lindsay is such a girls girl. As a curvy woman, clothing shopping can be tough and disheartening. But if there was a Lindsay in every store, the world would be a better place.
