I can't think of anything bad to say. I bought my leather formals (cap, shirt, pants, belt, tie, and Sam Browne) from here as well as assorted underwear, gear, and other items. I feel the staff is well informed, caters to the individual, and is willing to create or order custom orders based on your needs. I have feeling they just don't hire anyone. I've had a few really good experiences here. They have a decent selection of leather (considering you're in Chicago) but the majority of the shop isn't a leather/fetish store but a jockstrap and lube and poppers store (pretty typical smaller town setup/fare). It reminds me a lot of a smaller version of Gear Kit in Palm Springs: super smart and perky staff with good inventory but it's not Mr. S, 665, The Leather Man, or Mr B. Considering the leather crowd in Chicago is overcrowded with hipster pups and kink snowflakes, this place has all your pup & beginning 'weekend warrior' gear. The owners are very knowledgable and do some of the leatherwork. Apparently there's also second smaller version of the store on the East Coast. You can't go wrong dropping some serious money here and you will if you like Vanson & 665 gear. read more

It's not just for leather. Full kits got it all..... underwear, jocks, swimwear. They are currently available now for curbside pickup I recently got a hand full of bandannas to make homemade mask. Don't forget to go out and support them. The staff is always helpful and friendly. read more

Having worked in customer service for years I didn't realize how much it can make or break your experience. The customer service at Full kit is Awesome! This was my second time shopping there, and I love their selection. I usually order E-modus Vivendi underwear online and it takes ages to get them. I was very happy to see they sell the brand. I love the fact that they make sure you are happy with the fit of things before you leave. The selection is awesome. Pricing isn't too bad, but for some things, it may be more of a splurge. I went to the store to get some supplies, and ask for advice on how to repair a leather harness. The 'manager' was on the phone, and acknowledged us, but sat and talked to someone for almost 10 min while we waited for him to get off the phone. I was there to spend my $ and he wastes my time talking to someone who is sitting at home in their BarcaLounger! When I asked about repair for my leather harness, he asked, "Did you buy the harness here?" I replied that I did not - I purchased it before the store existed. He said, "Then I can't help you." I asked if there was someone they used for repairs or alterations, or just anyone that did work on leather, and he snipped, "I can't tell you anything since you didn't shop with us." I explained that it wasn't possible to shop with them because they DIDN'T EXIST back then! He just gave me a sour look with pursed lips and no words. Their prices are pretty high, and the staff was pretty rude. I won't be going back to that store again. read more

I was terribly disappointed in this store when they refused to send out a replacement for a $180.00 item was lost in the mail and was a present for my boy friend. I never received the item and when checked it was sent to TX by mistake and the tracking showed it was still there. I alerted the store and they filed a missing package report with the USPS and said if it did not turn up they would send me a new one. 2 weeks went by and nothing. I then found out my identity was hacked and my postal changed to another address and state. I filed and report with USPS and they took care of changing all back but my holiday packages had been re-routed there. All other stores sent out new items to me asap except Full Kit Gear as they refused saying it was not their issue. When I asked about postal insurance they stopped responding to me. I am VERY disappointed with this store and would never purchases from them again. Their customer service attitude is terrible. I understand its not their fault but they offered nothing but that. $180.0 is a lot to me and it was a present I cannot replace. read more

Very friendly staff and great products. They make their own line of leather and they have beautiful harnesses. I bought a gray metallic harness and wanted the matching arm band and thigh harness. They did not have the material so they took another harness apart to build the products I wanted and in less than hour my items were ready. Will always go back when visiting Chicago. read more

This place is impressive! I was hesitant at first to go, but couldn't be more happy that I did! (Although my bank account would be) The guys working when I went in were both friendly, attentive, and steered me in the right direction of what looked best and what I should try on. The custom harnesses they have are AMAZING! I've been looking at getting one and for the price and the quality, you won't find a better deal. The leather was soft and felt so comfortable on my skin. I will be coming back to Chicago, if only to stop here and buy a harness from these guys. Great selection of underwear from some popular brands as well as a good amount of their own line, which is reasonably priced and so far the quality and comfort are A+. Not being from the area, and going so far out of ones comfort zone can be nerve wracking, but from the minute you walk into the store, the staffs personalized attention and advice put any fears to rest. Whatever you're into this place will probably have something for you! Looking forward to returning to Chicago just so I can shop at this place. read more

Never shop here. Ever. This place has the absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced. I purchased a bathing suit that became completely discolored after wearing only once. The manager said in no way would they exchange it even though it was clearly defective. As someone who goes out of their way to support local business I was shocked at how sincerely unaccommodating the manager when this should have been a customer service no-brainer. It's a shame because every time I purchased from this store the staff was great. When it came to a situation when they were not taking my money it was a completely different story, Everything in this store can be purchased online for less cost and with actual return policies.
