‼NSFW SPOILER ALERT‼ I walked into Egor's Dungeon thinking it was Target, easy mistake and not unheard of. The only reason I would ever give this place less than 5 stars is because I think they stole Target's look. But what I saw when I walked there absolutely blew my mind. I purchased the biggest toy in the store. The toy was advertised as free of phthalates and harmful additives but when I opened the shell casing a whiff of a hugely toxic chemical smell came out. When a luxury product such as a100$ toy is not as advertised and is in fact not safe for the human body it is customary to offer full store credit if the toy has not been used. I told them I could understand that they might not have known the toy was toxic but now that they do know, they have an obligation to make things right. If I use this dildo on myself it increases my risk of among other things, anal cancer. Instead of being greeted by any kind of reasonable apology and attempt to make things right they said I could have half off a future purchase. You deceived ME, and you want me to spend more money at your store? This is far from adequate amelioration when you are selling toxic, subpar products. Don't shop with these dishonest people. Alright so this is a shady sex/head shop. Very shady. You see a lot of weirdo's. You get stared at for 80% of the time you are in there. Some of the staff are just plain standoffish, Its tiny and kinda dingy in some parts, They really could use some more selection... But...so what? At least when you go in you know what to expect! I revisited Egor's Dungeon. It was cold and I wanted to warm up. The sales woman, Alex, was very friendly and we talked about different types of whips, things for clitoral stimulation, brands, lube, common questions, materials, sexual revolution, etc. It was great! The thing about Egor's is that it was primarily a head shop and had to tack on the smut business to keep things going. So if you go in, expect to be led towards the head shop items (that's where the register is) and expect to be reminded of their sister shop that sells more smoking paraphernalia. Once you get past those items, you'll realize that the smut section of their store is pretty interesting and the prices are usually better than the other Belmont locations. The selection itself is a bit lacking - aside from a giant wall of dildos and vibrators, the remaining products that are supposed to be the really interesting side of smuttiness is usually lacking. Sure, you can pick up some bachelorette party items, or pick up a deck of cards with smut printed on them, but aside from that, there's very little. The place could use with a little more in the BDSM category - not enough to scare away the vanilla crowd, but enough to keep non-vanilla crowds entertained and buying up some merchandise. Either way, the place gets four stars in my book just for the prices alone - and because while you'll never leave the store without hearing about head shop stuff, you'll also never leave the store without batteries if your purchase requires them because they care about their customers and getting repeat business. Well... When you enter a creepy looking sex shop, as other's have mentioned, you would expect to find creepy people. Not so with Egor's Dungeon. Egor's Dungeon is a great hole in the wall sex shop located on Belmont Ave right next to Tabou Taboo, which can make it seem redundant until you actually go into the shop. While Tabou Taboo has a great selection of outfits, I find its selection of toys to be rather lacking. Egor's Dungeon on the other hand is much more toy oriented. Not only that, but typically it's cheaper then Tabou Taboo, which unlike when you're buying other sex commodities... is actually a good thing, especially when it's literally the same product. I went in there with a female friend and neither of us felt intimidated or out of place. The people were helpful and always gave us suggestions if we asked them anything. They would give us their opinions on stuff and it seems always tried to steer us towards the best quality for the price items, which I found extremely refreshing. Also, if you are looking for more then just hard core toys or similar items, they have a great selection of novelty items as well as movies. Good service, decent selection, good prices... there isn't much more one could really wish for. This place is certainly recommended. read more

Though small, & no dressing room to try on the few clothing items they have, I like this place a lot better than Taboo-Tabou. I received friendly greetings from both associates, as well as assistance with their toys after a few min of browsing their selection. They were both pretty "chatty", the male more so than the female. They both seemed to have knowledge of the products, even if they didn't own some of them. They weren't overly annoying thankfully, b/c normally I only like assistance if I ask. One of the items I was interested in I had seen online at a couple sites before, & found it at Egor's at a better price than some online shops as well as other sex shops in the area---so I believe their prices are pretty decent & competitive. They had a few apparel items, including a couple of non-fetish items like the mid-length, flowy, summer skirts but I didn't check those price tags. There's a small glass case near the door with a little selection for smokers. They also have a small case of "higher-end" or "luxury" toys. Not a bad selection of bondage schtuff on the wall at all based on the size of the store! Seems like they have most of the basics, with a few extras that you wouldn't see at a Lover's Lane for example. Novelty/party items were kind of lacking, but I didn't focus on that much b/c I generally don't give a crap about that cheezzzzz. lol On a Sat night, only saw a few couples in there, no creeps detected here.
