The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and ready to answer any questions or provide guidance and suggestions for items I want to purchase. I was warmly welcomed on my very first visit and every visit since. After 3 hours they finally finished and there was no list like they said. I couldn't get a straight answer on what I would be getting paid for the items individually. The selling process should be more transparent. I was in a rush since it was only supposed to take an hour and a half. The sell prices are worse than game stop. I would never go there again. Instead of actually checking, he led me to a section that I already knew was incorrect. I went along with it briefly to give him the benefit of the doubt, but it quickly became clear he wasn't interested in helping. Without making any effort to search or verify, he simply said they didn't have the item. He then brought over another employee who immediately backed him up rather than attempting to locate the item or provide any real assistance. This was a stark contrast to my past experiences at the Orland Park location, where employees were helpful, looked items up on their computers, and were able to locate plenty of what I was searching for. Unfortunately, the lack of effort and professionalism at this location has cost them a long-time customer. I will not be returning.

I came in and was directed to a separate counter for selling products. The nice, helpful staffer took my name and number and told me they would call me in 10-20 minutes. I expected them to look it over while I was present, but asking me to wait a while looking over the selections was fine. I went to run an errand and received a call sooner than expected. They were able to use some CDs and offered me $12 cash OR $15 store credit. I chose cash. It was a nice exchange. The 2nd time I came I was not so lucky but it's fine. There were quite a few people there both times. I did not get any pics inside, but the new location is quite convenient, just a walk-in on Wabash. I have not purchased anything, but in addition to music, they have posters and pins.

The staff will look up books to buy new for 20% off, too, if they are still in publication. The gentleman behind the desk showed us some special editions of some books. Although we could not buy them, it was really interesting to see. Good selection and genres are well marked so you will be able to find science or science fiction books.

On the right side are the more popular records that range from $20+ (also have plastic covers) and the CD selection. The guy that owns the store is very friendly. He was telling me that he has been at the location for about 8-9 years. What's really nice is that he looks at each record and cleaned them on this cool machine. Made the records look like new! Thank you so much, sir! I'll definitely be back soon!
