Clearly at one point it was a record shop (the name gives it away of nothing else), and there's still a case of them in the middle of the room, but it's been subsumed by the mass quantities of toys and memerobilia that are crammed into this small storefront! Got a cartoon, sci fi film or other cult classic that you like? Chances are they have something from it. (I even saw a Danger Mouse figurine...does anyone aside from me remember that show?!) Edge your way through the quagmire of collectibles and take your time looking! The only thing I didn't find that I was seeking? Micro Machines! (Not the Star Wars etc. ones; just the old school mini cars. They did have lots of Hot Wheels though.) This place was pretty crowded on a week-end (read: 5 or 6 customers at once, which given the space was practically overflowing). Worth a stop if you are nearby, or a trip if you are a big collector!

It was like heaven to me - they had everyone from Baatan to Blue Magic, The Stylistics, Sly Slick & Wicked, Al Wilson, etc. What really impressed me was their meticulous organization. Unlike typical shops that only highlight popular artists and lump all soul musicians into one alphabetical section, they had a lot of artists despite popularity categorized. The service was great. I didn't catch her name, but she was incredibly knowledgeable and efficient at quickly locating every artist I asked about. Their inventory system seems really well-maintained.
