I'm constantly upsold here. I understand if you try once with a customer, I get it's part of retail, but even after they try and you politely decline, they'll be back to upsell you again. I feel like I can't shop in peace here sometimes because employees are coming up to you and offering the most expensive products for you to buy. Also every single time without fail, when I go to buy my things at the cash register, I'm asked "can I recommend something better?" Literally every single time! And even if I say no, there is always a comment. I've gotten questioned about the product(s) I'm buying like "you're okay with this needing batteries?" or "it's such a shame because this is a cute product but there's such better quality ones" after I already say I'm fine with the products I chose. I still here them out and see what they have to offer, and sometimes I do take their recommendation and other times I do not. Again, just always trying to be upsold and they don't take "no" easily. Another thing is their stuff here is WAY overpriced for the quality. The costumes I've gotten here were over $60, $70 and usually come apart or rip and tear after a use or two. Their decor is fun for bachelorette parties or other themed parties, but again, not quality or anything like that. Lot of their packaging is flimsy or looks like it's been returned even though they don't take returns. If their pricing was reasonable I wouldn't even be mentioning this, but from the way they price their items you'd think every product here was of the highest quality. I'd skip this place and try a different store!

They have a wide variety to choose from. They will try to get you to sign up for their discount card which costs $10. You do get $15 on your birthday so it may be worth it. It guarantees you 10% off every purchase for an entire year. So if you spend over $100 then it's worth it because it is free when you add the discount.

I called and was asked to email a picture of the cards- one which is brand new $50 (still attached to paper tag) and another which is partial (about $31). the first email from "Brie" stated: "Since it's been over 5 years, we're unable to verify the balance on this card. However, I'd love to offer you a 15% promo code for your next purchase! You can use this code alongside any other promotions we have on our website." After much back and forth, the most recent email states they were able to verify that the card has zero balance. How is it that first you were unable to check the card balance and now you're telling me there is zero balance?? That is BS. So anyone with gift cards older than 2019, you have just lost all your money to this unworthy company. The company just stole about $80 from my gift cards with no product in return. It is sad that this is a Canadian company. They need more training in Customer service- perhaps from American counterparts who are thriving. I will never give one more penny to this company. Buyers beware- DO NOT BUY GIFT CARDS FROM THIS COMPANY. They scam by changing their computer systems claiming they are invalid. The money is still valid. Very disappointing.

I asked to see a pair a handcuffs out of the box, an employee said "no problem", but the manager butted in, took the box, and said to her, "here, I'll do this and you make the phone call."
