The store is divided into 2 sections of clothes. The stuff on the left side of the entrance are more formal wear. Slacks, dresses, skirts, formal and party tops can be found here. The right side of the store contains casual wear - jeans, t-shirts, active wear, lounge wear, etc. They have a policy where you can't try on their clothes. Period. But you can return items within 14 days just as long as you have all the tags in place and the receipt. Shoes, however, you can try on. I love how everything is organized and you can see where mostly everything is. Makes it so much easier to shop and mix and match outfits!

Lindsay became my bff the second I walked in…read more So here's the sitch. Im visiting from NYC and getting a prdicure at a nail salon around the corner. Sitting next to Kat, we instantly start chatting up and talking about the neighborhood and our trip. We're in Chicago and then heading to Vegas for a festival which I still don't have an outfit for. And as luck would have it, she says she works at Felt around the corner and we should definitely head over! We head over to the magical world of Felt and meet the magical Lindsay. Lindsay was my fairy godbestie. She listened to where we were going, my style, and my body. I recently lost weight so I don't have lots of clothes or much style. Clothing shopping has always been tough for me. Lindsay pulled together pieces for me and set up a room. Cue the early 2000's movie changing room montage. Also did I mention the free champagne?! So I'm switching in and out of outfits for my partner and Lindsay to look at on the couch and big mirror which my partner and I drink champagne. I didn't even give Lindsay my sizes (because I don't even know my size anymore) and yet almost every piece fit. And every piece was a different size, medium, large, different numbers, etc. like is she a wizard?! We left the store with summer shorts, an awesome blue, strapless top that ties in the back, and a white skirt with black polka dots for funsies for work (great material, holds it's like 60s waves and is double lined so not see through) Not only did I walk out of there with clothes, but I walked out of there happy, with CONFIDENCE, and a beautiful sense sisterhood. Lindsay is such a girls girl. As a curvy woman, clothing shopping can be tough and disheartening. But if there was a Lindsay in every store, the world would be a better place. And of course, for the products, I can say that they have good quality, it was my first purchase from their shop and I am quietly satisfied from what I bought. So, I got 2 shirts for myself and 1 shirt for my brother. The texture and fabric look comfortable to wear, so thumbs up for that. I took a quick stroll inside and walked out with a new sweater, cuticle oil, and incense sticks. I love that a lot of their products are made from recycled goods and from locally sourced designers. The price range is a bit high for the area, but the quality is definitely there. Can't wait to stop in again!

Erik is awesome, it's like bringing your fashionable friend to go shopping with you, except that your friend has an intimate knowledge of the store's inventory and also happens to be a professional tailor. He pulled out a suit that I would not have considered on my own, but it turned out to be the PERFECT SUIT! It only needed a hem, which he did himself, pressed it and put it in a garment bag, and I picked it up a couple days later. The whole experience felt very comfortable. If you have social anxiety about asking for help in stores (not that I have any experience with that of course....), rest assured that I felt completely at ease here. And after several weeks of unsuccessful shopping in department stores, it was such a relief to find something that works. The shop is really cool, it's like what I imagine some fashion magazine's basement might look like. A little disorganized with hidden gems everywhere you look. There is a whole selection of sequined blazers that I'm dying to try on. I definitely plan to come back!
