Fun stop to look over the various items out and available on the market. NGL Prices are legit way way better on Amazon though. read more

I've been coming to Lover's Lane periodically over the years now for Halloween costumes, funny decor for parties, themed accessories, etc. I'd say 80% of the times I've been here, it just hasn't been that great of an experience sadly. I'm constantly upsold here. I understand if you try once with a customer, I get it's part of retail, but even after they try and you politely decline, they'll be back to upsell you again. I feel like I can't shop in peace here sometimes because employees are coming up to you and offering the most expensive products for you to buy. Also every single time without fail, when I go to buy my things at the cash register, I'm asked "can I recommend something better?" Literally every single time! And even if I say no, there is always a comment. I've gotten questioned about the product(s) I'm buying like "you're okay with this needing batteries?" or "it's such a shame because this is a cute product but there's such better quality ones" after I already say I'm fine with the products I chose. I still here them out and see what they have to offer, and sometimes I do take their recommendation and other times I do not. Again, just always trying to be upsold and they don't take "no" easily. Another thing is their stuff here is WAY overpriced for the quality. The costumes I've gotten here were over $60, $70 and usually come apart or rip and tear after a use or two. Their decor is fun for bachelorette parties or other themed parties, but again, not quality or anything like that. Lot of their packaging is flimsy or looks like it's been returned even though they don't take returns. If their pricing was reasonable I wouldn't even be mentioning this, but from the way they price their items you'd think every product here was of the highest quality. I'd skip this place and try a different store! read more

Wow I'm at a loss of words... I picked up the cockmilker deluxe 3000 and boy did that thing know its way around my rod. Big shoutout to Bill behind the counter, he knew the perfect stroke machine from experience. I will be back here at least weekly to continue my toy collection. Can't wait to see the new drops! read more

I had the lovely pleasure to meet Nicole. She was extremely helpful. This location always have beautiful pieces. Most of their items are reasonably priced. I will continue to keep coming here. read more

Really amazing sales staff. Very clean, large assortment of products as well as assistance for online if they don't have it in stock, granted they have a large selection. read more

Loved my experience here. Non-judgemental staff helpful with the lube and in store experience. Safe COVID free environment. Even as I nervously called, per the request of my Mistress, to thank them for the service and products (speculum, nipple suctions, feminine wear, VIBRATOR :) and other sissy attire they were professional. Definitely going back. read more

rude mean worker w cat ears was mean and unhelpful. found another shop that helped me get exactly what i needed though :)

This will be my toughest review. I love the people here. My significant other gave me a list of things she was interested in trying and I took a lunch break to explore whether this store had what we needed. The ladies working on that day, especially Julie, took that time to listen to me stammer through my list and even added some additional ideas from their own experience. What started off awkward ended up a lot of fun. And yes, couples who play together do stay together! This place has a great sales crew so they are keeping a lot of couples faithful! read more

This review is pretty general as every Lovers Lane I have been in is about the same. I have gone to them in the few occasions I wanted to pick something small up and couldn't get to the nice toy stores in Chicago, like Tulip (I recommend them!) Here's the thing: Tulip has testers for all the lubes so you can see for yourself what is too tacky/too sticky/just right for you. Lovers Lane yelled at me for squeezing an open bottle I thought was the tester. If I can't feel it, it's a big guessing game and it's not like you can return it. Tulip also lets you touch all the toys, and Lovers Lane has just a few out. Also, alot of the items look like cheap, novelty junk. Fluffy, flimsy handcuffs and the sort. If you want BDSM then get some real restraints! Lastly, and my biggest gripe about them- you cant ask them any questions without it going back to them trying to sell you their massage kits. I get it, it is there, but everytime...I don't feel safe to ask them real questions. At Tulip, I walk in and I can ask them anything and I feel like I get an honest explanation of my options in toys/lube/etc. Moreso if you shopping for more specific things like strap-ons and whatnot. The few strap-ons I remember seeing may look very pretty but they are not going to be sturdy and functional. So, in the end....Lovers Lane is ok if you want to pick up some of your favorite lube or maybe some of the sexy clothes- but you can find better places if your looking for some serious purchases. read more

I drove by , and decided to check em out , anyway , I bought stuff for like $ 100 maybe will not use it , but it looked fine , and naughty !!!!!!!! read more

Went in there around 8 on a Saturday night, as soon as I walked in a short girl with black hair gave me such a dirty look. Why I do not know. Made me want to leave. I had a smile on my face had a great day until we made eye contact. Maybe I intimidated her. I will never know. Don't want to either. I will never go back to this location ever again. Came in to pick up an item did not expect to be greeted with a hostile attitude. I will never give this business my money again because basic customer service skills are not part of their repertoire. No excuses. read more

OH MY GOSH! I came in looking for some lingerie and some new items and your employee Alyssa was SO freaking helpful and I never knew how to compliment my figure in one pieces, but she was able to help me find items I liked very quickly! Can't believe how great the customer service is here and I didn't feel judged or awkward coming in at all. If anyone has nerves about being first time customers, don't hesitate!!! read more

Ask for Denise! Girl with dark her! Amazing customer service and was really helpful! Thank you for your suggestive sell!

The girl was really helpful, my only issue is I came in the store with an understanding of what i wanted and i told the sales associate that more than once, water resistant and rechargeable. Of course not water resistance, and now it doesn't work, spent 89.00 , and day 1 it is dead and i probably won't get my money back. I'm so upset i was very specific about what i wanted and now I have nothing. Dont leave the store unless your 100 percent sure you get what you came for. read more

stopped in for first time to see what they had. I was pleasantly surprised how clean, tidy , modern and fresh the store is. They have an array of merchandise for every one that wants to get their sweet , or naughty on!! Employees Greet with smiles and have tons of enthusiasm for what they're selling! ..Alyssa helped me for last minute date night with my beau and I bought more Than what I went in for - two body suits, one full body suit, thigh highs, couples toy (!), and of course the lotion. Everything was perfect ! Alyssa knows the products , Denise is a great store manager and supplements the outstanding service ! They're an great team! The store was busy but the girls managed to take care of each one of us without missing a beat! I'll never go and spend my money anywhere else - aside from the cool merchandise, clean and organized store , the staff is amazing here ! (Thanks Alyssa /Denise , we loved - everything !). read more

Lovers Lane is def. the place for couples! This store was sooo small first of all! Secondly, it's pricey! Third, they never have LARGE or XL! Always size SMALL, XS left! That does tell ya something, huh? Real girls have curves! I love the stuff and store, but I only come here when it's a special occasion or I have extra money ti spurge on a cute little outfit. I always check the clearance. They have lingerie, potions, toys..but then again, that's every adult store for ya...they are expensive so I'd suggest coming here when you have cash for a special night or occasion read more

I went in for a honeymoon outfit. There was an outfit that I was interested but had a stain. They bleached it and gave it back to me. Still wet with bleach on it. The person was helpful so she is getting a second star but won't be back to this location read more

Great customer service! Warena W. went above and beyond her job! I will defiantly be going back and seeing her again:)

I visited this store because I wanted to get a few things for a romantic weekend I'm planning. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by all staff which you don't see often. The store is huge with so many different items to choose from which made me feel like a kid in a candy store lol. I had the pleasure of being helped by Crystal. When I tell you she was ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL, I mean it. She was so kind and dedicated! She helped me find everything I was looking for. She recommended items and really pointed me in the right direction which I needed. She was honest and even helped me look for different sizes in lingerie. I felt like she was specifically there to help me. She was patient and definitely paid attention to detail. She also was very knowledgeable and had answers for any question I asked her. I will definitely be visiting the store again due to her. She made it the best experience ever. Thank you again Crystal!! read more

Horrible service. I came in and told the lady that I worked for this company before so I know a lot of the products but I know they have couple new things that I don't know about and she automatically showed no interest in helping me and when I asked her a question she replied with a rude face. I just put my stuff down and left and now going to a different location. Very surprised because this really is a fun job to work at and if you aren't enjoying what you do you shouldn't work there. And just because I have worked there doesn't mean I don't need help just notifying about all the unnecessary information she need s to share with me since I already know it read more

Was looking for a modest corset for a costume event- and somehow got dragged into Lover's Lane. I figured that they were just a dirty (literally) little sex shop, but I was surprised to find that it was actually a very clean store with nice displays and a helpful staff. The selection of corsets was pretty impressive, and they even had multiples in the plus sizes (3 and 4 XL's even!). That's a major win. The ladies on hand that night were all awesome and were very polite- I didn't really expect any help or service trying on the corsets but they all knew what they were doing and helped me find a perfect fit. Unfortunately I lost track of time and accidentally kept them all there five minutes past closing time, but they were all too nice to point it out! My apologies to the staff; your excellent service distracted me from even thinking about the time! I know the store just moved into this new location, but they seem to be really on top of the ball with good staff and stock- definitely worth a shot if you're looking for something fun for Halloween -or just something fun for a night in. read more

I went to that store and I was helped by Leto who she was very nice and helpful and got a lot of knowledge about the products I got what I'm looking for and I was happy and definitely I'll come back and shop there again read more

This was our first time to this location, I assume they must work by commission. Two ladies were helping us one mentioned she's from another location. We normally shop at the Harlem store,we should have on this occasion we were sold something that doesn't work! $120 ish. The first one didn't quite work so she tried another so we bought it. Guess what She gave us the bad one! Of course there's no Returns so I guess I won't be Returning Either. If you do shop there make sure your watching them very good, What aBig ripoff $$$ read more

This store is huge!! So much to look at. Everyone was so friendly! I had a great time shopping and trying things on. I was also shopping for a bachelorette party a few weeks ago and the girls had such great ideas! My budget was $50 and they helped me stay under.Thank you Lovers Lane! read more

I agree completely about some of the other reviews posted, I came in looking for something and the first thing I was shown was a $120 item...i quickly said my budget was more under $50 so she takes me to the $50/$60 items. She kept showing me things I WAS NOT asking for (smooth versus textured etc) and I was getting frustrated and told her I wasn't willing to spend the top end of my budget on something I'd be settling on since they didn't have exactly what I wanted. A few feet over I saw EXACTLY what I described to her I wanted from the get-go that she said she wasn't sure if she had any of that type, my guess is because the price tag was $16 she didn't want to show me in the first place. I asked her her review and she said "I dont know, not a lot of people buy that one"...thanks...and there was another thing I wanted which would have put my total around $40 and again I asked her review and she said the same thing. They push their more expensive products despite what you come in asking for, you are better off shopping on your own. Also their clothing is either XS/S or 3X/4X....i need something in between! Oh and I asked if there were any discounts and this woman directed me to a coupon book I could buy for $10 to get $10 off my purchase..insane...I won't be back unless I have en emergent need (like I had today!) read more

I came in to just look at some outfits with my friend, as I was approached by a sales lady (frumpy, dirty blonde hair) who immediately started pushing corsets on me, when I said I was just looking around. She then proceeds to push these expensive items in my dressing room. I did like the corset she picked for me but then I saw the price tag.... $100! That is not in my budget. She then takes the corsets and says" I'll leave this at the register" I then was taking to my friend about the price and wasn't happy with it. The lady was hovering over us as we were talking about the item and still continued trying to pressure me into making the purchase. My friend then picked out a $20 item and the lady came over, snatched it out of her hand and said "oh honey, you don't want this" my friend proceeded to tell her she had heard a good review from someone she trusted and would be making the purchase despite what she said. The rest of the time we were there her attitude was extremely poor and kept giving us dirty looks. When I informed her I needed to go home and think about spending that much money on the corset but may come back for It, her attitude towards us for even worse. I will NOT be returning to this location and am highly disappointed in the quality of staff that is representing this company. read more

We had just a fantastic experience! The store is so clean and organized, that it was not hard to find what we needed. The staff was so helpful and knew just when we were in need of help. We were not intending on spending quite so much, but after learning about the quality of the toys and the money saved by not using batteries by getting a rechargeable one, we were sold! We will definitely be back to see what other new and exciting things they have for us! read more

The staff at this Lovers Lane is absolutely outstanding. They are very knowledgeable about the items in the store and go above and beyond to assist you. I have been going to lovers lane for years and the store manager at this location is simply put amazing. She has a top notch staff in place. When I go which is fairly often she informs me of the latest and greatest items. She is honest when I try things on and tells me if I look good or not and has the ability to get me into things I would of never dreamed I would try and my guy goes crazy and I love it! I have had personal conversations about private sexual matters that she has helped me learn and grown and become good at for my boyfriends and mine mutual satisfaction. I have watched them work with customers that come in from the very shy to the very out there and they do it with class, style, grace and professionalism. They have a beautiful store there the nicest of the lovers lanes and trust me I've been to several. Dont be afraid to state your needs or ask a question they will be able to assist you. Nice varity of products in a nice clean well put together store! Thanks for the laughs, the help and always teaching me something new when I stop by for a visit! See you soon...... read more
