It's almost 2023 & customers are still being followed around the store. Who knew that was still 'a thing'? Please forgive me for being so naive to think that we were above that as a collective. Thanks Hustler for forcing me to remember that it is still very much a reality. I'm honestly still in shock. Yesterday I walked into the Hustler store looking for something sexy and playful to wear for an evening I envisioned as an act of self love and appreciation. Unfortunately, I left out of the store without purchasing anything and feeling awkward in my body - ashamed and disgusted. When I walked into the store, I was excited to explore the many gadgets and lingerie options but I was met with disdain. I was an unwelcome guest. Somehow, the staff member found it necessary to follow my every move. She could have been a mime the way she mimicked me the entire time - not once asking did I need anything. It was very clear that she had intended to follow me closely around the store. Treating me as a criminal although I was a customer and sending my anxiety through the roof! She ended up leaving me alone for a fee minute to tend to my friends questions however once they were done, she was right back on my heels. Eventually I crept downstairs to get a bit of "fresh air" and shop in peace and just as I did, she came downstairs with me. Like I said is it really 2022, or are we expressing a blast from the past. There's an incredible selection and normally *really* great staff. However, today I visited the store just to look around and browse while I had some time, and as soon as I walked in I had a man following me intently throughout the entire time I was there. I walked upstairs, looked around, and the man never left a 10 foot radius of exactly where I was staring the whole time -- it was extremely uncomfortable. I was so uncomfortable, I decided to just leave. As I did, he followed me closely down the stairs and out the door, as if to make sure I left. I've spent a decent amount of time and money at this store, but I can't imagine coming back because of this. I can only imagine how uncomfortable a woman would have felt with a man staring at them and pursuing them the entire time they were shopping. It's a shame, because this was my first negative experience here, especially with the staff. But, unfortunately, this is a BIG issue. read more

As a dancer I buy most of my clothes here they have a big selection of clothes that is upstairs & downstairs. Literally everything I have needed here as a dancer is here. They also offer discounts if you're a dancer if you mention it. They have gorgeous pleaser shoes which I have purchased a few pairs. High-quality selection of toys upstairs. I was so excited to find this store. In the front it is lingere and clothing and not all of it is porno blonde type. In the back part is where it really gets interesting. They have a great sale area. She helped us look for something we were comfortable in, outside of our "color palate," and somewhat adventurous (in our terms). She didn't make us uncomfortable at all! While the prices are certainly not Victoria's Secret level (bonus!), I'd be willing to pay more to buy something that looked great on me, rather than something less expensive that makes me look like a whale. ...Perhaps the facts that it was February and the dressing rooms are painted a vibrant, dark purple had something to do with why nothing looked good on me?
