Never with VIP , I just went on vacation for three weeks /out of the country and my acrylic nails still looked beautiful when returning. TLDR- The nail salon sent me to the ER and the owner called me heartless for wanting my money back, did not apologize and gave me a "donation" as she made very clear I needed the money more than her, yet she calls it a refund on paper. Since the owner decided to lie on the google review response here is what I have to say. Do not come here unless you want to get a skin infection. I had to argue with the owner for 15 minutes to get my money back and she gave it as a "donation" instead of a return of service for giving me an infection. I got them done and the next day I had bumps and boils everywhere and my doctor confirmed it was from the nail salon. I had to threaten legal action for them to offer a measly $30 when I paid $135. Do not come here for rude service unless you want to be patronized and accosted for getting your money back from the kindness of the owners heart. She told me that I "did not have a heart" for coming back here and wanting my money back in front of other customers. I am telling everyone I know to not come here and I advise you too. To respond back to the google review response as I said in the store in front of the other 5 costumers who you so gladly reminded me of I stated that I do not have any allergies and have been getting my nails done at various shops for multiple years without any reaction. I have always used my same products at home without any cause. In the review you LIED about I stated that I got my nails done on Thursday, Friday night I noticed the bumps, Saturday they got worse, and Sunday I went to the ER. Therefore I did not come in days after in an unreasonable sense. Also did you give me a refund or did you give me a donation? Because you specifically made it clear to me and everyone else that this was a donation and why do you need validation from your costumers to do something right over the mistake you made? This shop has horrible practice and very bad manners if I could have given a 0 star review I would. I wish I did call the proper authorities at the time in order for you to have to go on record for what you did to me skin. I only hope this isn't permanent damage... read more

My gf & I had a nice day date here this week. My nails look great. We both got matching gel manicures. Issues for others might definitely include parking because it's on the Square. However, it is a great location. Another issue is these folks are hustling. I mean I have never seen such multitasking in my life, and although I didn't negatively affect my experience, you're definitely not getting pampered in a long-term traditional sense like I've had at other spas. This is where to go to accomplish your nail 'missions.' They are right next to a few new fun stores and you can also grab a margarita at social Cantina before or after your treatment. read more

I LOVE this nail salon! Sometimes it takes a while since it's only two people especially if you're the type to just walk in however they are worth it! I come here every 2 weeks to get my nails done and they are so accommodating! The environment is so peaceful I just shut my brain off and give them all the trust. I get dip powder every time and have done red white and blue stars for 4th of July, different color French tips, chrome toppings, etc and it always looks so good! My daughter and I got our nails done here before a trip. The lady was extremely judgmental that 1) I was letting my 9 year old get her nails done and 2) I was taking her out of school for our trip. She also made my daughter feel uncomfortable for wanting Halloween nails in September. The woman who did my nails was extremely rough. You could tell she was in a rush and left some pretty rough edges around my nails. The guy who did my daughter's nails was also rough on her, as well. I specifically requested a black undercoat with a sparkly overcoat. Yet, the woman doing my nails got upset when she started doing them in a color I didn't request. The entire salon seemed pretty unkept and not all that sanitary, either. No cleaning of stations between clients. They're just trying to push people through as quickly as possible. The man helping me was amazing and quickly fixed my nail, and then I got a fill and new polish. He was super fast, helpful, and vry kind. Yesterday, I had planned on getting my nails done so I called VIP nails but there was no answer. I decided to just walk in and when I did, they said "they're unavailable". I called later in the day to make an appointment for this morning at 11:30. It was a good thing I arrived 20 minutes early! They were either short staffed or taking too many walk ins. I felt bad as the staff was running around like crazy trying to keep up. (They did keep up, surprisingly) A gentleman did my nails and did a fantastic job. He made sure the shape of my nails was what I wanted and made sure I was satisfied. When applying the polish, I was nervous as my nails were only under the light for 10-15 seconds before applying another coat. They ended up drying perfectly. The only thing that could've made this manicure better was lotion! My hands felt extremely dry as I left. I would have given this review four stars, but you get what you pay for! The total for a fill-in with gel was only $30! (Not including tip) so I am more than satisfied for what I paid for! read more

I went to VIP nails hoping to get a design on my nails. The man doing my nails at first burped in my face and kept leaving to do other things. He used the electric nail file thing for about 10 minutes and he put the nail extensions on and used it again. Then he put on the gel and none of my nails were even, he then used the electric nail file again which made my nails have bumps, on my left hand my ring finger looks bigger than my middle finger, but my right hand looks fine. I ended up not getting a design because I was to afraid he would make the nails look even worse, never coming again and wouldn't advise you to- not for finger nails at least. read more

Despite being called VIP nails, you don't get VIP service. You get very rushed service. If you get gel nails, you will have the gel hardened on your skin as well as a messy paint job. Not good. Having your old gel nails removed was a nerve wrecking experience too. The nail technician decided to use his own nails to scrape off the gel instead of using proper sterilized nail tools. Nobody even tried to convince me to upgrade to something more expensive!! The spa is furnished nicely with leather chairs, big windows, and lots of plants, making for a relaxing atmosphere. This was the worst dip powder manicure I've ever had. THE DIP POWDER CHIPPED OR PEELED OFF COMPLETELY IN LESS THAN A WEEK!!!
