Dang and Emily are ahhhhhmazing! Came in for a pedicure with my mom and I upgraded to the deluxe pedicure which is worth every dollar! They were so friendly and attentive which is not something you find at a local nail salon in Redding. Very very happy we found VIP nails, will be making a lot more appointments here with these two! Been in Redding for several years and always went to Bella nails and after the last couple times and their horrible rushed service won't be going back now because we found a new home! I'm so surprised this still has such great reviews! My last visit was my last!!!! It was obvious that the Pandemic has hurt them financially. I went in for just a pedicure and manicure. The young man spoke NO English and he filed the top of my nails like I was getting acrylic nails. It has taken two months for my nails to get back to normal. I was under the drying lights for 20 minutes and my nails were still tacky. The pedicure and manicure lasted ONE day. I was so disappointed. read more

This place is horrible. It's expensive, they don't take their time. I got a gel pedicure (which is $15 more than a regular pedicure) and the lady did it in a hurry, she was not friendly and I was left very disappointed. I don't understand how this place has 5 stars. read more

I am visiting Redding this week from LA, looked on Yelp for a place with good reviews and chose VIP. Went in as a walk in around 11am and the place was empty (maybe because it was raining). I was promptly seated and mother-daughter team Linh and Mimi who took care of me. I showed them a picture of the shape and style of mani pedi I wanted, they were happy to oblige. This nail salon is a hidden gem in Redding. I called to make an appointment and the man on the phone was amazing and patient with the changes I had to make to the appointment a few days later. When we got there it was clean and relaxing. They had the covers for the tubs that you use in a pedicure which is very nice and reassuring to their cleanliness. My mom and I had two really nice ladies who took their time on our massage and pedicures. We requested for some designs on our toes and they did a great job! I was so happy with my nails that I have recommended them to every one I know. I will be back! read more

I hadn't gotten a pedicure in a while and these girls reminded me of how I am treated like a princess. The regular pedicure runs around 25 bucks at about 45 mins. You get the right amount of bang for your buck! They have massaging chairs which are awesome and use very clean tools-a new pack per customer. I loved my calf and foot massage. I had to wait for my nails to dry before I left, but that didn't take more than 15 min. I will return for great prices and service!! read more

Best service and quality I have ever received for a mani-pedi! We brought my whole family here to get our nails ready for my wedding, there were 6 of us in total. We made an appointment ahead of time and they were ready for us when we arrived. The atmosphere was very clean and relaxing and the staff was so friendly. They did a great job with my pedicure and did the best gel French manicure I've had, it was perfect! If the great quality wasn't enough, they overheard us talking about the donuts next door and had a box of a dozen donuts ready for us as we were leaving. I love the staff here, they're friendly and unlike most nail places these girls actually interact with you. I do find it a tad odd possibly borderline offensive that most nails spots will look at a customer, laugh and talk in their home language, which is fine but for me it's a tad unsettling.
