The place is really cute and clean and the staff are so nice. I got dip tips and the start was going well but my nails ended up looking chunky and shaped weird compared to the other person I was with. The tech did listen to my suggestions, however the length consistency was strange, and the nails are not smooth and are uneven. I feel like I spent so much money for wonky nails. $250!! For my daughter and I to have our feet and nails done. I'm surprised they don't have a cover charge to get in the door. Then, I've had my nails done for over 20 years and ALWAYS have cuticle oil put on. Not once have they used cuticle oil or lotion!!! Wow!!! VIP prices and low end service!!! Don't go!!! read more

I spent a significant amount of time at this place. I thought they were top notch but last 2 times I went I didn't get the girl I requested. When I asked about it they said she was busy with a wedding. I ended up having a guy do my nails and he was not good at all. My granddaughter could do a better job. I'm not sure of the normal cost of these services but they charged me $99 for refill & pedicure. That's not my idea of service so I'm moving back to the place in Shawnee. read more

My nails always look great. You have to try the volcano pedi, best pedi I have had. The staff is always friendly!

Let me begin by saying the newest owner is absolutely precious and very sweet, along with the rest of the staff. However. Like most other nail salons it's all about the money. I had a scheduled appointment for a pedi and mani right after the opening time. I even arrive 10 minutes early because if you're not early you're late! I sign in and see there are 7 people in the shop already ahead of me. 7! No way that 7 people had an appointment with 4 girls working. This means there are walk ins. I sit down, pick my color and wait patiently. The walk ins are now getting taken care of prior to me with my scheduled appt time, because they were there first. It would be one thing if they had already started with them but no they were waiting, like me. 30 minutes I waited until I even got pulled back to start the pedi part of my appt. Did y'all read that? 30 minutes! I then sit in the water long enough for it to go from hot, I like the water temp to be hot, to barely luke warm. I went with the Sensational Blast Pedicure today because I actually have other plans and things I need to do other than sit in a nail salon all day. The pedicure was amazing. Hot towels were great. The massage was sensational. The nail color on my toes is exactly what I wanted! Now it's time for my nails. I'm getting the dip service. I need to have the old dip removed first. The gal up front Is finishing up with one lady. She asks her if it would be ok to wrap my nails real quick and the last tell her to go ahead. Very kind of her. I wait for her to finish the other lady as my nails soak in acetone. She isn't overly friendly with me when it's my time to do the nails. She asked the color I wanted and I told her it's the same color as on my toes she said she got it from the lady that did my toes. 30 minutes from the time she sat in the chair and devoted her time to me to finish the dip process. Now, I probably should have paid more attention before I left but I thought it was bc my toes were still a little wet so everything wasn't true color yet. But.... my toes and my fingers DO NOT MATCH, and my nails are not filed evenly. They keep snagging on items, which means now I need to file my nails for my contacts so i don't mess them I know to some this isn't a big deal, but when I pay someone 70.00 total for a service plus a tip I expect to have what I asked for. Plus, I offered to show the color of she gave me the swatches but she said she got it. Maybe today was an off day. I'll go one more time and give it another chance. But if this is the way it's going to be, there are far too many nail salons to be stuck with waiting 30 min past your appt time, being skipped over for walk ins just bc they were there, and not getting what you asked for. read more

I got a mani-pedi yesterday and I think it was the fastest I've ever gotten these services. If you're going for quick then this is the place to go. I paid for a deluxe pedi and should've just done the basic because it wouldn't have mattered since there was no effort into it at all. I asked for a basic manicure with French tip polish (no gel). I do polish because I don't want my nails tore up. They are tore up anyway because she filed on top of them so much. They look so rough now. I wish I would've done them myself. These pics are the day after getting my nails done. She only put ONE coat of clear polish on my nails after doing the French tips. So of course the polish chipped right away. They were not friendly and she only smiled at me once, when it was time to pay. read more

I tried VIP Nails today. I will not be back! I was a walk in, before asking for an appointment I showed them what I wanted. I asked if they could do this...she said "yes we can" I asked how close to the picture design will you be able to get? She said 100% they will look just like the picture. So I accepted the appointment. The first guy did the basic alright, but the two that were white when he drew in the stripe across with the additional flakes it looked like a 3 year old did it. I asked to remove the white and just do the coral color. A coworker of the first guy asked if he could try I agreed. The picture below is what he did. I still was not happy...but the first guy had taken over again and seemed very angry. By then I was DONE I just wanted to get out! $60 later I came home and had to remove it and do it myself. I should have drove the hour to get them done where I KNOW they do good work! Again... if you are going for something other than just normal color this is NOT the place to go! read more

I love this nail place, the front desk is always so helpful and polite! I've gotten my nails done by 2 different nail artist here, and they both did a great job with my nails. I always like getting fun colors and adding designs. I also take my daughters with me and they love this place! I recommend calling ahead and making an appointment because once they open for hours of operation, I see they are busy! I've been able to walk-in but it's best to make an appointment if you can.
