So I normally get waxed by Bailey T & I love her. Yesterday we were chatting during my routine wax appt and she mentioned her lash tinting. I had received an email about it, so I started asking questions. I'm headed to the beach in a few weeks and would rather not have to worry about makeup but ALSO, don't want to have no lashes. She said she had time and I gave it a whirl! WHOOOWEEE! I am so excited and glad I did! She did an amazing job and now I feel like I can go without mascara and if I need a more dramatic look, I can just do a couple of swipes of mascara for an evening! I'm in love with this service! Wax and lashes beach ready! read more

Bailey! She's amazing. I've been going to her for about 2 years. It's never awkward and she makes me feel safe and comfortable. I hope she never leaves. If she does, I'll follow her! The receptionists are always helpful and kind. read more

My esthetician is always kind and on time. My questions are always answered. It's easy to book follow up appointments. I've had great results, too! read more

Got hair you want gone? Go here. I have used Cheyenne from Waxing the city for about a year now. She is great. She pays attention to detail and takes in consideration of your skin. She makes things so comfortable. When you walk in the waiting area is small, but let's be honest I have never had to wait. I book my appointment on the phone. I love that option. During the day it is hard to get away and make a phone call to book an appointment. The prices are reasonable. They have a little section in the waiting area where there are items to purchase. I call it the impulse buy section LOL This visit they had nice candles that I just had to buy. read more

I had an appointment April 11, 2021 and although I showed up 10 minutes early, on the correct day, at the correct location, the company refused to honor my appointment even though I didn't cancel the appointment. Confusing? Absolutely. They never bothered to reach out to me either. Instead they turned to Yelp to remove my 1 star review. read more

I feel the responsibility to post a truthful review about my experience here. I went in on Monday, my 3rd visit with the SAME person and she could not even pick me out of a line up with 2 other people. So if you like a personable kind of experience, this is not the place. Not the biggest deal, but at least try to remember your costumers. The main reason I will no longer be going back here is that I was burnt while having my eyebrows waxed. the lady, who will be nameless, turned up the heat on the wax "because my hairs were so thin". So not only did it burn my skin, she went over each area 3-4 times. Let's just say it was the worst feeling wax I've ever had. Also, she sings (more like hums off tune..) the hip hop music playing the entire time. Not relaxing, ma'am. Plus..my eyebrows aren't even that good, if I am paying for the professional good care, I expect it. read more

I've been a loyal client for 2 years and had a mixup on my booking date. I have never missed an appointment in 2 years. They charged me the full amount $85.00 regardless. Poor customer service to loyal customers. I canceled my membership. Sadly, they will loose a loyal client, over $85.00 when they could have $1020.00 a year for a membership. Not smart business and horrible customer service . Extremely disappointed! read more

Sierra is amazing. This was the least painful wax I have ever had. Very clean and sanitary and comfortable rooms. Great price too.

Not worth the money!! Got my eyebrows tinted, color didn't even last a week. Got them shaped and waxed had to go home and finish tweezing them myself. Ulta is where I normally go and thought this place would be amazing. I was wrong. Ulta is cheaper, friendlier and better read more

Hands down my favorite place to go get waxed!! I've gotten waxed with a few girls, and I highly recommend Kimber or Cassidy. The prices are fair, and they are super clean! The girls know exactly how to attend your needs. You can also get a packaged deal if you are a regular waxer. read more

I used to work at a waxing salon in Atlanta so I am used to being waxed by different aestheticians. Lumber at wax and the city is by far the best. It was the least painful wax I have ever received. Aside from her skill, she was thorough - often tweezing spots for extra precision, and going over areas if it was needed. I am so happy with her service and would recommend her to anyone considering getting a Brazilian in the Moore/Okc area. Oh, and she is super sweet! Thanks again Kymber!! read more

I came in for my first Brazilian wax I was so nervous and terrified. Nikki was fantastic, she talked me through the whole process and talked to me the whole time to keep me distracted. She is very good with her work and she will get every hair off. If you are deciding whether or not to get a Brazilian wax I would say do it and book with Nikki! Can't wait to see her for my next appointment. read more

Six minutes late and they wouldn't honor my appointment. I cancelled my membership and still waiting for the call from the franchise manager. Manager did not care that I cancelled membership. Staff is always so friendly at any location I go to. I've never had a bad experience here. I've only done the Brazilian waxes so I don't know about the quality of their other services. But everything is very clean and sanitary. I drive an hour to come here. More than worth it. read more

Thank you so much to Alyssa for taking care of me!! My first time with her went amazing!! 10/10 would recommend her. She took the time to ask me questions & I was able to ask her questions that I had & we worked together to come up with the best brow shape for me. She was very welcoming & energetic. Very genuine. Thank you Alyssa for all that you do & I'll see you next time! read more

Ask for Adrienne! She's amazing and always does a great job. You get a discount for your first time. I've been coming here every 4 weeks since 2017 and I have no complaints. I always leave extremely happy and satisfied. read more

This place is seriously amazing! The facility is so clean and everyone makes you feel so welcomed. I was super nervous my first appointment. I literally read all the questions on the website, followed all the instruction, but was still so nervous. Bailey made me feel so comfortable during my appointment. She made conversation with me the whole time, and there was never an awkward moment. She was so helpful with letting me know what to expect after my appointment, care following, when to come back, etc. Bailey is absolutely amazing and if she ever moves anywhere I have no idea what I am going to do. Love her so much! Will not go anywhere else! read more

Bailey is awesome!! Went in for my first brazilian ever (plus I'm overweight) so I was super anxious about how it was going to go. I didn't have to worry though because Bailey was amazing! She was efficient and thorough while being personable. She kept checking to make sure I was ok, explained each step of what she was going to do, what I should/shouldn't do after the wax, and just chatted with me to distract me. It hurt a lot less than I was expecting and it didn't take as long as I thought it would be. The atmosphere in the studio is great. They have music playing and everything is clean and comfortable. Check in and out was quick, and they sell different products that you can buy anytime. You can book appointments in person or online.... Will definitely be back! read more

This is the best place to get waxing done! Everyone is always very professional and does an amazing job. I love that they are all professionally trained! Kymber is my favorite! I love that Waxing the City is all about waxing. My first wax was done by Adrienne. She was fantastic! It took almost a week before I felt any regrowth. I went back to have other services done and it was the same result. They have a 50% off coupon for first service, which is nice. They are also open evenings and weekends. If you are nervous about pain, they have a numbing gel you can try. I may do that next time, but it really wasn't all that painful since Adrienne knew what she was doing. read more

I have gone to the North May location for a year and their turnover rate is high. They cannot keep cerologists so I would have someone new every time I came back. I had to cancel my Orange membership because I wasn't able to make my appointments and my $48 (discounted rate for Brazilian) withdrawn was paying for my cancellations. My final appointment was for a normal Brazilian and my lip. Of course, I had to cancel. My $48 was withdrawn just days before this appointment so I had a credit. They charged me another $73! I explained that I had a credit for my Brazilian so I should have only been charged for the lip wax. They refunded me only $12. So they basically charged me $60 for my lip wax and have yet to refund me after several phone calls. I'm on the hunt for a new place. read more

Not happy with my visit... went in and got a different operator because I waited the full 6 weeks and should have went back in 4. Was told this tech was good. At first I was happy with my results until after I showered and found prickly hairs where I should be bare... paid for the full Brazilian and have catfish whiskers that are uncomfortable and poking me. Hopefully they can rectify this issue. I should have stuck with Bailey read more

BAILEY you ROCK!!!!!!!! This place was Uber clean and Bailey my tech made this wax worth it. She keep me distracted, educated and entertained the entire time. I was so impressed with her attention to detail and kindness that I just had to call her out by name on my review. If it is your first time expect 50% of services. They book you for your next appointment and provide a reminder card. I had a great experience and will be coming to Bailey again for my waxing needs! Kymber is a saint! I've been three times, twice with Kymber, once with another girl. I won't be breaking up with Kymber any time soon. FINALLY a waxing business that does nothing else but wax here in Oklahoma! I walked in here and immediately had a smile on my face as I realized it was 50% off my most expensive treatment with the "Yelpon" in the Yelp app. The differences between WTC and other locations that wax...... You can actually get the same person to give you services long term instead of other places that have a high turnover rate, cleaner, more modern, better wax, formally trained waxers in Denver CO at their franchise Wax University (in addition to cosmetology school!) more choices of services, online app reservations with your previous waxer. A lot of services geared towards men, not just the ladies. There was ample parking, spotlessly clean waiting rooms, service rooms, and restrooms. This is very progressive for Oklahoma, I know, but if you've used professional waxing services before, you are going to love this place! If you've NEVER used professional waxing services before you'd still love this place!! I had my brows and nose waxed and they turned out spectacular! I know what some of you are saying......"NOSE!" Yes, I've been getting my nose hairs waxed every two months or so, for the last fifteen years, along with my brows, and it's so nice and clean! read more

After having a bad experience with my first Brazilian at European Wax Center, I was extremely nervous. But, I'm so glad I came here!! Today was my second time coming to Waxing the City. I've had different estheticians each time and both ladies were outstanding. They were very personable, made sure I was comfortable, and very detailed with the wax, along with skin care! The place was very clean as well. I would highly recommend! read more

Not happy with my eyebrows. Still had many hairs left everywhere ...left them uneven. Pricey for no reason.

Analeigh did an amazing job with my eyebrows! She's so nice & helpful! I already booked my next appointment!

First experience here today! I made an appointment online and mistakenly thought it was for today when it was actually for the 24th. They were very understanding and worked us in anyways! We had Brittany as our technician and she was fantastic! I had my eyebrows waxed and shaped and my sideburns done. We also had my 11 year old's eyebrows done (just the center) and Brittany explained everything she would be doing before and as she went. Everyone there was very personable and made us feel welcomed. It was very clean and cool (which felt so good on this super hot day!). We will definitely be back again! Highly recommend! read more
