I called and was able to get in with no problem. I was greeted at the door and immediately impressed by how clean and beautifully set up the shop was. The front desk staff was very kind and accommodating. I received a full set and a pedicure just before Christmas and was extremely happy with the service. I will definitely be returning. read more

Rude. Tried to tell me I couldn't get gems on my nails because they were expensive but my friend got them and they were cheeper for her?? Not the same as the other filed in Norman, Norman filed is much better. Manager was kind everyone else had an attitude that wasn't appreciated. Wasn't impressed. read more

Had an appointment. Unfortunately I had to leave after waiting 30 minutes for my appointment to start. And yet, the place seemed almost empty. The nail salon just a few doors down was much busier, and yet they were able to start on me immediately as a walk in. I should've left sooner. Filed staff was apologetic and at least offered me a 10% discount, but since it was still not going to start soon, it wasn't worth it for me. read more

Got my nails done 1 week ago and they have already chipped. Not to mention how messy they are. I got a manicure and pedicure and left the nail salon with polish on my legs and fingers. do not recommend at all. read more

I have been coming here since I moved to okc last summer. The last few times I have booked and the service is always delayed. Today I simply had emotional walked out. Only to be told by the receptionist that I should have booked with an individual and not first available. BUT I had an appt at 2:00. Walk ins should be managed around actual appts. So now I will look for a new place. Just very disrespectful of people's times. And I have witnessed this same occurrence the last 2 times I was here. People walking. I think you all may need to a better business model. And for the record Nancy is great if you can get her! read more

This place is exactly what I've been looking for! Hubs and I had a day date and this was one of our stops- it was so quiet and relaxing, not a lot of nonsense chatter like most places. It wasn't hot and stuffy, I was comfortable with the heated neck wrap ( I run hot). He did exactly what I wanted with my design, listened to me when I told him I couldn't do the toe spacers bc my feet are so narrow... I recently had a horrible experience at a new salon 5 minutes from my house, I'll drive the 40 minutes to get the best service here! Thank you guys! We'll be back. read more

Kimberly did my nails! She was awesome! You could tell she really knew what she was doing with her techniques. I left feeling like my nails would last and they wouldn't break. Great atmosphere inside as well. It was clean and had a modern look. Also they bring you a little carrier filled with pretzels, water and a can of soda. read more

Receptionist did the pedicure without informing the customer that she was not trained as a nail technician. She did not know what she was doing. My heel is inflamed and in pain. I am not able to put weight through the heel. I am extremely disappointment about the service. Please be careful they say they have staff who can do pedicures apparently not. read more

Came in on a Tuesday afternoon and business was slow and I got seated right away and offered a drink. I just came in for a fill which got taken care of pretty quickly. Someone else came over to do my design in which they told me it would be $15 for all fingers which I didn't think was too bad. Definitely over the moon with how they came out, vee did amazing! read more

This is a delayed review. I had made my manicure appt online because I had seen so many cute pics of their nail art. My "manicure" was messy, dip layers were thick, & didn't include any kind of care for cuticles + nail beds, lotion, wax... just the paint/dip. The nail art by itself was super cute & pretty near perfect. Unfortunately, the art was on messy thickly dipped nails with zero care given to the nail beds or cuticles... so at that point, who cares how cute the art is. Went right back for them to take it off but they instead offered to 'clean it up' implying I hadn't asked for an actual manicure... what?? Went to a different salon that afternoon to have them redone -- an "actual manicure" for cheaper at Butterflies. Expensive & disappointing. read more

Just want to give a shout out to FILED nail salon. Clean. Pretty. Comfy. Kind. Efficient. Snacks. Had a lovely time! Demi was my technician, she was fantastic. Located at the Uptown grocery store shopping center. I'm new to the area, so this was my first visit and I plan to go back for a second time in two weeks. If you're looking for a change or your "first time", I'd give FILED a chance. read more

I'm always looking for a place where I can build a relationship with my nail people. After my experience tonight I think I've found my place. Everyone was friendly, the place was very clean and nicely decorated. The tools they used were new for each customer I saw walk in. They also gave complimentary snacks. I showed Kimberly a picture of nails I found on Pinterest. She and her assistant were great! They did an awesome job, I love my nails. Needless to say, I will return. read more

After multiple issues, with quality, I stopped going here. However a loved one was recently ridiculed and made fun of. I will not tolerate abusive behavior and it's a good thing I wasn't there. Literally making fun of someone's disability outwardly mocking them right to their face is despicable. read more

I have been to this salon multiple times and each time service was great but quality of my nails, pedicures and eyebrow waxing have been lacking. Went in this last week for the last time. I went in for a manicure and I am positive the nail tech didn't know how to file or paint nails at all. It was awful. I would not recommend this salon. read more

Absolutely horrible. I asked for a fill and he did a full set, I asked for my nails not to be trimmed and he proceeded to do that anyways. i've been proceeded to ask if he could fix the color because there were strokes on them. And he told me that I could come back tomorrow if I wanted to get them fixed. I would absolutely never go back. read more

I've been here a few times due to the convenience of the location. I loved how they offer drinks and snacks prior to getting my nails done. They are a little busy, so at times the wait is a little long. I've gotten pedicures and manicures from here. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and will listen to what type/style I'm waiting. Luckily for me, I'm pretty plain jane. I usually do a simple color and choose a simple choice of treatment. I would say it's probably easier to go during a slow/down time. It seems hard to set and appt while taking walk-ins too, especially when they're trying to meet the needs of everyone. Overall, great experience! read more

I'm feeling a little bummed about my experience at Filed today. I have been coming to Filed for a long time-- even got my nails for my wedding there. I have never had a bad experience. Today I was getting gel done and the nails were looking patchy so the tech told me she was doing a 3rd coat, which I said "okay!" too. She then just did a top coat, and I asked afterwards if we could please do that third coat because they were a little patchy. I do understand that it's annoying to have to put in the 5 extra minutes to file off the top coat, but I was very apologetic, and just wanted it to look nice because it's expensive. She was incredibly rude to me, even turning to coworkers to talk about it, who were all trying to make me feel better. I apologized, telling her that I didn't mean to be difficult, to which she rolled her eyes and said "well I asked you!", I reminded her that I said ok to the third coat, and even tried to apologize, telling her I might have misunderstood. The rest of the manicure was really unpleasant. She was clearly really mad at me, and was pushing my hands away once she applied polish. I could understand if I was rude to her. But I simply wasn't. The other tech next to her was kind enough to ask if I liked the nails or not, while she said nothing to me. I'm not one to complain or ask for something different usually, but I did today, thinking I would be met, ultimately, with a desire to have a happy customer. Instead I felt very uncomfortable, and was treated really poorly. I will return to filed because I have generally had a good experience, but the last 2 times I've been have been less than stellar. I hope that these are just flukes. read more

Beware. Filed Nail Salon in Edmond on Covell, has untrained staff, male nail tech cut and then filed my nails so short my fingers/cuticles bled and were raw, then days/weeks since my service on 4/27, my nails are separating from my nail bed and I have a nail fungus. The manager there was extremely rude when I went to discuss concerns with her, she refused to assist me or give refund of service. I posted google review immediately after service but posting here as well as an alert to others. Some of the techs there may be fine, but the young man that did this to me should not be allowed to work on anyone. I have placed a formal complaint with the cosmetology board. read more

I went in yesterday for a manicure and pedicure. I spent $40 on a pedicure to still have a callus. When I had left I had noticed that there were imperfections in the paint, the chrome had been filed off on the sides, and was displeased with the way the thickness looked on the nails (from the paint). I called this morning and asked if I could come back in to have the color changed due to the previously mentioned. They said sure come in and we will fix it. I came back in and had the color changed which actually turned out well. when I went to tip they tried to charge me $70 for the color change and color removal. I spent over $150 yesterday to have my service corrected. They acted as if they were doing me a favor by only charging me for the color change of $50. Their menu at the checkout said color change is 25/20 which apparently is outdated. Needless to say I paid an arguable $45 fee for a service that should not have been needed. There are what appears to be little bubbles on the top coat and little "scratch" marks where the chrome did not adhere. Don't waste your money for services that you can get somewhere else without needing retouching, lower prices, and more courteous staff. $200 for nails that are worth half that price. read more

I went in with high expectations and unfortunately they were not at all met. I made an appointment online and ended up being there over two hours because they overbooked and did not get to me in time. Once I was finally seated three different nail techs took turns doing my nails. this not only was unprofessional but made for a very uncomfortable experience. not only that, I was moved to a different chair twice. when i showed the nail tech the simple design (the photo was a screenshot from their instagram advertising the design) she was aggressive and rushed. so I paid $70 for dip on natural nails with a design on one finger that looked very messy and not at all what the picture showed. I am very disappointed, and I doubt I will return. If you are looking for a relaxing experience with reasonable prices I would not recommend Filed in Edmond on Covell. read more

Literally could not say better things about this nail salon!! They were so attentive to my nails and spent a long time making sure they were perfect! I'm getting married this weekend and they made sure I got the best of the best.
