Went in for a consultation for skincare. I'm in my early 50's and my skin has shows the signs of stress, & sun along with the fact some medications I take tend to dry my skin. I'm ready to give my face & decolletage a little "love". I had a good consult with Amber and she advised me on some procedures that would benefit my skin. She wasn't pushy about which procedure,but was very cognizant about what I wanted my results to be. I knew I would need a "program" to get the results and she put me on a good plan to refresh my skin, bring in new collagen, minimize pores, remove brown spots and leave me with a overall youthful looking glow. Our plan began with a Jessup Peel which was mild but as of today(one day later) there is a nice difference. They also gave me a hydrating mask to use 24 hours after and that was a bonus. I will have 2 more peels and then a photo-facial within the next 4 months. That should allow me to have a clean palette to begin normal 6 week facials and lots of good sunscreen so my face looks as young as I feel! Thanks Zen Aesthetics & Amber. I have photo facials done about once a year and was in OKC for a week for work so I tried this place. I just had my second silk peel (like a microdermabrasion with serum) with Amber and I cannot believe the difference I've seen in my skin! I have extremely sensitive skin that was very congested. I've seen such a difference in the level of redness after these silk peels and after using the products that were recommended to me. My skin is no longer extremely oily because the blackheads are almost nonexistent now. Amber is the nicest person and is so knowledgeable about skin. I recommend this place to anyone, especially anyone who is self conscious about the appearance of their skin. My skin is night and day different. I'm so excited to keep improving it. I am a 49 yo female. I first started getting a little Botox and Juvederm in Colorado in 2010. The provider I went to in CO was a dermatologist. She did an amazing job. But after moving to OK, I needed to find a reputable local provider for touchups. I have felt like I got ripped off every single time I've had an injection since 2010. Always left feeling like I received maybe half of what I paid for. Until recently. I was really tired of wasting my money and not getting the results I had that first time. I thought that it was just taking more and more to look the way I wanted. I went almost 2 years without Juvederm. But had 60 (!) units of Botox injected back in April. That spa, the people were unbelievably snooty, rude and dismissive. Apparently my attire and purse weren't up to their usual standards. I made the same mistake I had for the last 9 years. Trying to find the cheapest provider, whether it be Groupon or a FB ad. I left that spa very disappointed once again. I know it takes a few weeks to really see the full effects of Botox. But a month later it looked like I had maybe 10 units. Maybe. I was so unhappy with that spa (it was my first visit) that I cancelled the follow up. I had seen advertisements for that spa on Groupon constantly. I tried looking up reviews but couldn't find any. The injector there didn't ask one single question about what I wanted. She didn't really say more than a couple words to me. So about a month ago I tried a different spa hoping for a better outcome. I did a search online for honest, friendly and best results. 2 spas came up. The first, Ideal Spa, I decided to use. And I will write another review about that Spa too. But Zen and Ideal are both such amazing places with amazing people that I think they each deserve their own review. After getting what I wanted at Ideal, I was still wanting to do something about the dark circles under my eyes. But Ideal does not do that procedure. So I decided on Zen Aesthetics as they were the 2nd provider to come up by my search. I called and talked to Jessica. Which was fortuitous as she is the RN/injector, not the receptionist and asked me questions specifically about what I wanted done. :) she scheduled my appointment for the following Monday. They are having a special for October for 2 syringes of Revanesse Versa for a buy one get one. And at $625 per syringe normally was an amazing deal. I had never actually heard of Versa before so researched the product. Lots of good before and after pics and good reviews. I was still hesitant as I stated above, I get screwed every time with deals this good. When I got there, the entire staff was so friendly, helpful and just nice. No fakeness. Jessica then talked to me about what I wanted done. She actually told me what would help me more, rather than just giving me what I thought I wanted. She is super knowledgeable (impressive credentials and past work history!) and so sweet. I ended up getting the Versa in my cheeks rather than under eyes. I usually always bruise. I ended up with one tiny bruise. She did an amazing job. I can honestly say I got more than I paid for. I will definitely be going back for any future procedures. This spa was exactly what I had been looking for since moving here from Colorado. Ideal was also amazing, so now my issue is choosing between the 2! I am very happy with the results. And thankful to Jessica for knowing her stuff and not just trying to get my money with bad results. And no watering down of product like all (except Ideal) spas I have been to in the last 9 years. If you want honestly, amazing results and an environment friendly to all, this spa is for you. Love, love, love the results and the experience!!! Sorry for the book, but this spa definitely deserves more praise than I can give in a few sentences! read more
