Hotel and Amenities: Good location. The hotel is located in a very convenient location within walking distance of the Metro and several different bus lines. The bed was clean and comfortable. The room was also pretty sound proof. I practically couldn't hear any of my neighbors for my entire trip. Their complimentary wifi was adequate to supplement my weak international cellphone signal. Even though I had to wait a bit, they were able to accommodate my request for a nonsmoking floor. The entire staff was able to communicate fine with English. Bathroom: If you're from the US, you might not be used to a couple of things with their bathroom: 1. They have a separate bidet if you wish to clean your bottom that way. 2. The shower/tub does not have a shower curtain. 3. The tub reminded me of an aquarium. 4. You can raise the shower shade so that your spouse or partner can watch you shower from the room. How very European! :) Restaurant: They have a pretty nice hotel restaurant called Cenário. The food was on the pricey side, but well worth it in my opinion. They even have a buffet option for about 20 Euros if you're very hungry. Overall: If I'm ever in the Lisbon area again, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here.

    The hallways were cool?

Definitely not a five star hotel but not a bad place to land if you're visiting Lisbon. The train is close by and there are buses from downtown that get to the area easy. The room I was in had a king sized bed but it wasn't the most comfortable.. I was confused that there were no bed side tables and I instead was stuck leaving my journal and book on a chair that was awkwardly close to the bed. The hallways are lit in a sleek, dark way but the rooms themselves need some refurbishing. Nothing to write home about but not bad if you reserve it on a booking website that saves you some $$

Your typical fancy hotel: expensive drinks, spa etc. but they are incredibly friendly. I showed up at the gym 10 minutes before closing and asked if I could just run for those last 10 minutes and they welcomed me right in. My mom also blew the power in the room with her adaptor and they arrived within moments to check. When we needed to switch rooms because of the power, it was sorted out in no more than 5 minutes and they offered to help us. Pretty fantastic. And the room was $105.

Not a 5 stars Hotel at all!! The location is near to the Metro but nothing to see around the area. In order to get to the center, you must take a public transportation or pay for the open roof buses which are complicated and expensive. By Metro takes 15 min (taking into account walk and wait too). You take the Yellow Line, and then get off on Marquez to tale the blue line and get off on Rossio (important: the Rossio and the Reconstruction station are the same). Each way 1.30€ or 6€ for the 24 hours ticket. The station is open from 6am to 7pm. You can also take the AirBus very near the Hotel, which is like a regular bus but with a route thought for tourist. This bus takes you right to Rossio and cost 3.50€ for 24 hours ticket. This bus is every 25 minutes. If fits your budget, book an hotel at the Rossio Area which is the Antique Zone, and most beautiful. The Metro/Bus station for the Hotel is Campo Pequenho. All transportation go through this station. The breakfast at this Hotel is 20€ (?!?!), super expensive! However, You can ask for an electric kettle at the reception (the room does not offer one but it is by request only) and buy things for breakfast at a 4 blocks supermarket. We asked for plates, forks, knives and cups downstairs at the bar. You might have lunch and dinner out in the city although around the hotel you would find less expensive meals. Per person might be around 9€ for a chicken breast/ salmon, salad, rice and potatoes + water. The rooms are good but nothing amazing! In our case, the control remote did not work, the TV did not have Spanish channels and we had problems with the sink (water dis not go down). The pool is nice, it is open from 8am to 8pm, the water is cold and there is sun until 4pm. Getting to the pool is like a joke, you must go down to the reception, from there take a different elevator to floor number one and then another elevator to P. Towels you ask at the reception. There is wi-fi but very bad reception at the rooms. Very good reception at the pool and reception. For the spa you must pay. As an example, massage were 80€ per hour. The staff is very nice, but the whole experience was not pleasant.

Nice stylish hotel but not a 5 stars ! I was looking for a stylish and modern hotel within my budget and I found a deal 4 nights for 325€ via booking.com for a surprise vacations in Lisbon last minute. Concerning the location, it's in downtown Lisbon but not near the Old town (Chiado/Alfama/Bairro Alto) you will have to take the subway/bus or a taxi to go there. The hotel is about 2 minutes walk from 'Campo Pequeno' subway station. From the airport take bus #744 (around 20 minutes) or even the subway from there to reach the hotel. When you arrive in the lobby, it looks modern and nice. But I cannot consider it as a 5 stars because I stayed before in 5 stars hotels and I was able to tell the difference... They try to copy, a version for example of a W hotel style, but it's not a W hotel. My room was not ready at 2pm I had to wait 1 hour. The staff was ok, nothing to complain about at the counter. The room itself was nice and big. It was missing a iron board + iron for the clothes and as well slippers. Wifi was free of course and working very well. The swimming pool located on the second floor was ok, there were few people, I've seeing better hotels pool in my life. I didn't eat at their restaurant, so I can't judge how it was. There were a lot of small bakeries/coffees shops around the hotel and as well, you have a big shopping mall (grocery store/laundry/drug store) under Campo Pequeno building very convenient if you need to buy stuff. So, I had a great experience with this hotel, just that don't expect a 5 stars hotels with service & luxury goods.

Everything about this hotel was positive from the nicely furnished room with super comfortable bed, to the amenities-including the chromotherapy shower-to the fantastic breakfast, and mostly the service. All the people at the front desk and dedicated concierges were super friendly and helpful with restaurant suggestions, tourist suggestions, and travel suggestions (useful since a train strike was in effect during my stay). The head of the housecleaning department even repaired (sewed) a pair of pants I tore on my visit-talk about going above and beyond the call of duty. The hotel offers its guests a number of freebies that are much appreciated. Besides complimentary cook to order breakfast the hotel offers 3 free walking tours around the city and in room mini bar items-such as water, soft drinks, and beer-are also complimentary. The hotel even has various snacks (cookies, snacks, some food items) offered to guests in the lobby entrance as well as a daily happy hour. One final bonus are the 17th century ruins in the downstairs lounge area. Finally, the location is excellent. Corpo Santo is about a minute walk from Pink Street, 5 minute walk from Time Out Market, and very close to a number of tourist attractions in a less densely populated area than other hotels I looked at as well as a short walk from the water. Very easy for Uber drivers to find the hotel. This was my first visit to Lisbon but if I return I will definitely stay again at Corpo Santo. Muito bom!!

Pros and cons with luxury hotels- there's no loud and gaudy signs to alert itself; just a small subtle golden sign outside. Hahaha! The hotel blends so well with the area around it that it was honestly hard to find the hotel. We went around the square like 3 times; even the locals and the workers working around the area weren't sure where it was despite showing them the address. Nonetheless, I truly appreciate it when designers respect the surrounding areas and try to maintain the original parts and history of the place; choosing to inconspicuously blend instead of obnoxiously standing out. Walking into this beautiful hotel is like walking into a museum. I love the old things they choose to display and showcase. I commend the designers who try to mantain the beauty of old buildings and incorporate to meld history instead of choosing to modernize things. Our stay here was literally and figuratively on a whole 'nother level. Our room was in one of their mezzanine rooms- so it felt like we were in like a mini townhouse since it was a 2 level room. One is greeted with a small foyer and then stairs that lead to the bathroom and then the topmost landing to the sleeping area. We loved how it felt like we weren't in a hotel. Upon the arrival to our bedroom, we were greeted with a nice amuse-bouche of Lisbon's quintessential dessert, pastel de nata and a souvenir of the iconic azulejos. The attention to detail is apparent in every corner. While the impeccable accommodations were stellar, there was some thing that made our stay inhospitable. Unfortunately, the people in the front desk left quite an unpalatable impression on us. Most would consider it wise to put a friendlier face at the front end of such an establishment. A welcoming face and an affable and understanding demeanor to weary and confused travelers would be a wonderful warm welcome!! However, this was not the case. The front desk people need some refresher course on their pleasantries and welcoming skills. Good thing this was not the first hotel we stayed upon arriving to the country!! We immediately wished that we had gone back to The Lumiares Hotel & Spa in Barrio Alto. Despite that place being busy and at the center of Barrio Alto, the staff there truly were hospitable and engaging; night and day difference compared to this one. I understand that the hotel could be busy but there's a difference with attentive staff on busy hours and just plain aloof. There were 2 gentleman and a lady who were in their desks. I observed all 3 of them sitting coldly in there while they were ent about their routine. There was another elderly couple standing with us when we were waiting for our turn to get checked in, and the guy on the other desk just sat there while his other colleagues were going about their work. Let's give him the benefit of a doubt... He could be busy or maybe not able to check any of us in, but one could argue that it's still not hard to provide some friendly support or maybe asked the other guests if there was anything that he could help with while we stand there. I mean offer the poor lady with a cane a chair perhaps while her poor husband was trying to coral their luggage's, the guy could've called a bellhop to help them. Regardless, the lady who checked us in was business as usual; all cold and quite unwelcoming that she couldn't even be bothered to try and work up a mere smile so she could appear acutely affable. After all, you are in the hospitality business and the face of the establishment being situated in the front. Thankfully, interacting with the front desk was a short one. Despite all that, I hate to highlight that debacle because the rest of the staff were wonderful! They were welcoming and friendly. Whenever we had our breakfasts, we were always pleasantly greeted. The servers and the kitchen staff were attentive. Despite being busy, they took their time to answer and explain some of our questions and sincerely asked us about our stay. Our server was delightful & genuinely curious about our trip and was kind to give us ideas and suggestions. We heard her have the same pleasant interactions with the other guests and impressively in other languages. Overall, besides our front desk fiasco, we still enjoyed our stay here. Fortunately, our interactions with the rest of the staff thankfully overshadowed the unpalatable experience we had with the front. Shout out to the security, our bellhop and the servers at breakfast.

After a tumultuous travel to even get to Lisbon, arriving at Corinthia felt like a breath of fresh air. Our flight was delayed by a whole day and they were able to adjust our reservation to start one day over at no extra charge which was really appreciated! With our CC, we were able to get a room upgrade with a corner suite. The room was fantastic, modern, clean and the bathroom had a shower and tub. They have a turndown service to prep your bed at night and leave some lavender on top too! Small trinkets in the room like water, egg tarts, and more was available. The location is not the best from the main tourist area, and there isn't a ton to see in the area, but they do have a free shuttle that takes you downtown that we were able to use. There are 3 restaurants in the hotel too! We were able to dine at one but around the holidays, the other restaurant we wanted to try was closed both nights for private events. Their room service was actually quite good (and fast!) too! The hotel breakfast has a nice spread as well! It was included in our stay so I felt that it was worth!
