Sarah actually made me feel so relaxed and pampered throughout the whole process! During my appointment, she asked if I would be okay with extractions. I felt so comfortable knowing she was interested in what I wanted instead of just going through the motions and treating me like any other customer. I had a Custom Facial done (which comes with a massage for your arms and legs); she catered the procedure toward my skin type/comfort and asked if I wanted any add-on services like an eyebrow wax. I did, and I liked the shape she made. The wax she uses is very gentle and did not irritate my skin. All the products she used were organic and smelled AMAZING. She asked about my skin's sensitivity to breakouts and inspected it to give me some tips following our appointment. She also introduced me to Eminence Organics Skin Care; I purchased a trial kit (~$50) with some of the products she used during my facial. Eminence has wonderful reviews online, and the products helped my overall skin texture/acne improve. She recommended I purchase a scrub or make a paste with baking soda to help my blackheads and T-zone, but it did not work well with my skin, so I discontinued that. I kept using the Eminence products and definitely recommend them. Yelp offers a coupon so I was able to get a decent price on the facial. Because I bought a trial kit of Eminence Organics Skin Care products, my total appointment price did run a bit high. However, that definitely is not a deal breaker for me. If you have the means and want to support a local business + invest in your skin, I really recommend you book an appointment with Sarah. My skin felt amazing afterward: soft, supple, and clean. The whole process was painless, and I felt so satisfied at the end. I will be back when I can! :)

You have access to the showers, toiletries and hair styling tools. Once you step out of the locker room you enter a dim lit lounge where they have light snacks and the most delicious tea while you wait to be called for your appointment. I decided to go with a lengthy 120 minute Ultimate Massage with Katie since it had been quite a while since I've had one. This included a full-body brushing (you get to keep the brush afterwards), your choice of Signature, Deep Tissue or Sports massage and a warm oil scalp & neck massage. Prior to your visit you fill out a survey to decipher how you would like your massage to focus on. I prefer a firmer massage, but not too intense that it's not enjoyable. Katie was understanding of what I wanted and also receptive to how tense some of my muscles were and adjusted as the massage proceeded. I appreciated how she answered any questions I had during the massage and checked on me periodically to make sure everything was to my liking. The massage was fabulous. Just keep in mind that the oil scalp and neck massage while it feels amazing is going to leave your hair super oily. Be prepared to shower and rinse your hair several times. After my appointment I relaxed in the lounge for a bit and then utilized the showers to rinse out the oil in my hair. You are welcome to stay as long as you like.
