Vinyl Tech & Masonry installed a fence for us about a year and a half ago and we continue to be blown away by their service, professionalism, and the quality of their work. Speaking with Parris and getting the initial quote was a quick and easy process. Parris and his guys completed the paperwork we needed for HOA approval without issue, and installation happened quickly after our HOA gave us the go ahead. The installation itself was also completed quickly (2-3 days of work if I recall) and the best part other than the quality of the fence was that the way they install the fence posts leaves your yard looking exactly as it was before--no giant holes or dirt piles left behind. A few months ago, we needed a repair due to our landscapers accidentally shooting a rock through a fence panel. Parris was quick to respond and had his guys out there the next day to complete the repair at a reasonable price. They even noticed our gate wasn't shutting properly and made some adjustments on the spot at no additional cost without us asking. Most recently, we installed some pavers that went under our gate and needed some adjustments to be made to the height of the gate so the gate could close over the pavers. Again, Parris and his team were out quickly to make the changes we needed to our gate, and we couldn't be happier! Yes, you can find other companies to install vinyl fencing for less money. That being said, my husband and I would make the same decision over and over again to go with Vinyl Tech & Masonry because of their professionalism and the quality of their work. Don't waste your time. Filled out form on their website with dimensions and photos. Nobody called back after one week so called them. The woman who answered the phone was u helpful. She asked me to go back to the website and send another email with all the same information again. I said Iʻd done that and asked to speak to somebody. She said the only way to get a quote was to pay $20. I said before I pay $20 I want to be sure that they could install the type of fence that I wanted. She didn't care and hung up. Recently, for some unknown reason (possibly from strong winds), I noticed one horizontal section of the fence had popped out of its post. As a follow up, the project manager contacted me and he personally met me at my home during my lunch break. He brought a larger latching rod. This latching rod would site over the old mounting holes so the holes would not be visible.  We pushed the swing gate with the existing latch and it seems to hold. I've decided to keep the existing latch on and keep an eye on it; Besides I do have the drop pins to keep the doors secured. The project manager gave me the larger latching rod in case someday I've decide to install it. I am now satisfied with the responses and thus is revising my service rating of five stars. Initially worked with Parris, who is a great guy that understands what the customer wants. Granted, we waited a long time from contract to actually starting the work but it was all due to COVID issues which caused a delay in receiving the materials to build the fence. The crew was great! I'm an Architect and know good construction when I see it (as well as bad). Joe who did the concrete work truly understands his trade and made sure we controlled the water runoff to exactly where we needed it to go. His undersanding of concrete work was evident as he provided control joints (to control cracking), proper slopes, and nice broom finish work. RJ and his crew did an excellent job to make sure that my vision of the fencing became a reality. Quality workmanship, great product, and mindful of cleaning up and controlling construction debris on the site. To close, I am very happy with the way the project turned out. Parris and his team are incredible! We have used Vinyl Tech and Masonry for 3 separate large projects at our house and they have done an amazing job each time. They work well with ambiguity, I don't always know EXACTLY what I want when they come to quote the work, make great recommendations, offer cost saving ideas, and take pride in delivering beyond what I could have imagined. We have had them remove a retaining lava rock wall, add steps into our yard in two places, deal with difficult transitions in levels and yard spaces, and dig down father and rebuild it again as well as blend it with the existing sections of the wall. We have had them do cinderblock wall removal, chain link removal, and add in vinyl fencing. They come in and get the job done quickly and cleanly. This review is for Parris (estimator) and KP & Arthur(installers). I called a few other companies before finding this company. I got outrageous prices and pushy/cocky sales people at the other companies. I was about to give up and just do it myself (I'm a journeyman carpenter). I drove by a house that had fencing recently done so I figured I'd stop and ask the home owner who he went through. It was vinyl tech and masonry. The guy suggested asking for Parris which I did. Parris is very knowledgable and straight to the point. That's how I like it! No BS. I told him what I wanted done, a few days later I got the estimate via email, and that was it! They are very busy but do very good work at affordable prices. It's worth the wait. As for KP and Arthur, they work very good together. Very professional and neat. They worked through rain, mud, and prolly a 45deg slope to get my job done by the date that was promised. A lot of mud and dirt was taken out from each pole hole a long with the small slab I had poured(?) it was all put in biobags, loaded in their truck, and hauled away. Instead of just leaving piles of dirt and mud every where...... So if you're looking to have chain link or vinyl fencing done at your house? In Feb. - March, 2018 I was shopping around for a fencing company to put a vinyl fence on my property. After a reviewing the offers given I decided on hiring Vinyl Tech & Masonry. The original estimated start date was 6 weeks, unfortunately the job was started at about ten weeks. It was acceptable knowing that we had a streak of stormy weather. Chris had called to apologize for the delay and met with me to confirm the work to be done. Once construction started, vinyl tech worked swiftly and professionally to get the job done. During my search, I reached out to 8 vendors and only received 2 responses back with quotes. Vinyl Tech & Masonry Inc. sent Parris out to measure and provide an estimate. I recently damaged a section of my vinyl fencing. Since Vinyl Tech installed the original fence many years ago, I contacted them to do the repair. Mr Parris Ernst did an estimate and within days the Vinyl Tech crew completed the repair. In addition, Mr. Ernst had to locate fence components since the dimensions of my older fence had since changed. What an excellent job they did - Parris and his team are a stellar crew! Our wood fence around the hale was at the verge of collapsing. We had few estimates by other vendors and boy what a big difference in pricing! We don't always choose the least expensive - you get what you pay for... but in this case, definitely not! I have worked with Vinyl Tech on multiple projects for my home. The few low reviews on Yelp all remark the lack of response or slow response time. I fortunately didn't have that happen but due to weather and other projects I did have my project put to the back of the line during my construction phase. What you need to understand is that I stayed with them, and with any future projects will go back to them again. If it takes a while to get a quote from a contractor who seems very busy, chances are they are worth it. They are very professional and the crew they have working for them are exceptional. Their masonry team is beyond great and are able to solve design problems/work with you to develop your ideas. They do large projects to small work on fencing for homes. The first project they did for me was a set of retaining walls for a hillside. The original ideas I had didn't quite match up with the measurements they took. They showed me where the shortfalls would be and suggested that they add stairs adjacent to the driveway so the lower tier didn't drop below the sidewalk grade. It turned out remarkably well. Then the next set of projects I did was a large retaining wall with small planter boxes to meet HOA regulations as well. Again their masonry team and Chris came up with some awesome solutions for everything. Even if you get frustrated with not getting an immediate response, understand they are worth the wait and every penny. Start to finish they are professional and even do a great job at touch up and clean up after the project. No mess, no fuss. Just great work! read more

Vinyl Tech and Masonry provided excellent masonry services (concrete driveway and various sidewalks) around our home in Pupukea. We were impressed "Samus Team" of workers who prepared the foundation and forms in less than two days. The ground and forms were clean, curved, leveled and laid out from the existing carport edge through the sliding fence and to the street. By Noon, Samus Team was ready for the concrete delivery. We observed and were impressed with the speed and precision in which they worked together to fill and pack the forms. We were even more impressed when they took such great care to put on all of the finishing touches to the various edges and surfaces of the concrete sections. When the project started, the team was quick to work and kept us updated on each phase of the project. We hired this company for the removal of a wooden fence and installation of a white vinyl fence along the perimeter of our property. The price was a little high, but the quality of work was excellent. After the fence and gate installation, we hired the company to complete a retaining wall for our sloped backyard. They completed the keystone block wall and brought in machinery to fill in the yard with soil. In the end, the backyard was level and we were happy with the final result. My main reason for giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because this company does not accept credit card as payment. Only cash or check. Most fencing or wall projects are thousands of dollars and they do not offer any payment plan either. We had to pay over 10K in cash - and we would have felt better using a credit card. read more
