We started with the portobello bruschetta appetizer which was tasty and the minestrone soup which was delicious! For entres I had the beef cartoccio which was also lovely. The atmosphere and service were delightful. Overall if you want a "low key" Italian spot this is worth your time to give it a shot.

I didn't expect to buy anything when we entered but left with a few selections. They deliver across the country and as we left the store I turned around and asked if they could ship my purchases to avoid packing them. A quick transaction later and I was on my way. Happy to report that the goods arrived a day after I got home. I'd visit again when next in town and more likely have them ship to us when we run low. Find them and try them.

It is situated upstairs in one of the cute historic buildings of Park City Main Street, and is a wonderful place to shop for gifts. They let you sample their vinegars and oils before buying, and I highly recommend sampling a few because I have found so many exquisite flavors of balsamic vinegar that I never would have been open minded to try before. Some of my favorites are the peach (white balsamic great for summertime), fig, strawberry, and black currant. My boyfriend and I have quite a collection of them now, and we like to rotate between them as we eat salads pretty often and these make every salad taste amazing. Pro tip-- pay the little bit extra to get the rubber pour-control spout thing that they sell at the cash register. It helps control the vinegar from making a mess, and reduces waste by quite a bit. It is so worth it and will make your salads more well-covered without being drowned in vinegar at the bottom.

Your…read moreeyes start stinging the second you walk in, and somehow the smoke follows you through the entire meal. We were quoted a 10-15 minute wait despite there being multiple open tables everywhere, which already set the tone. The person at the front also seemed like greeting guests was a personal inconvenience. Not exactly the warm welcome you'd expect from a place trying this hard to look aesthetic. To make things worse, several pastries sitting in the front display were visibly burnt. Not "artisan charred" -- just burnt. The pastries we ordered were actually good, which makes the rest of the menu even more disappointing. We tried the soft scramble, pork cheek tartine, truffle tartine, and mushroom fettuccine. Everything looked beautiful but tasted either burnt, bland, or both. Every toast item arrived burnt enough that you could taste it in every bite. Our server came by often to refill waters and check on us, but the service somehow still felt oddly impersonal. Since the restaurant wasn't busy at all, it also made us wonder how attentive the service would be during an actual rush. Honestly, this place feels more focused on looking trendy than serving good food. Stick to the pastries if you go -- it's the only thing worth ordering.

Leona our server - retook our order and kept our water and coffee filled. As they got busy service began to slow- special drinks slowly got delivered - and we had a noticeable wait for our food. But the atmosphere is very nice and our company awesome so it wasn't as noticeable. Food came out hot - which told us the kitchen was busy but our server was delivering the food quickly. Everything was delicious- well seasoned and perfect temperature- soft scramble look yummy - the Benedict so good they made it a yummy meatless dish! The eggs poached well and served with peas a really neat compliment to the dish. Mushroom pasta looked very good and I'll have to order it next time. Funghi pizza was excellent- the béchamel was excellent and melody of mushrooms yummy- crust was good a bit dark on the top but bottom crust good. Overall we weren't in a rush so the wait wasn't too bad - the food is excellent and worth the wait

Today I went out of the box and ordered the chicken cheesesteak. I did this because I saw on the menu that this restaurant has its roots in my neighboring hometown. If you're from my part of Jersey then I won't have to tell you how they do it right. Unfortunately the roll, while good, was not correct. Also this was chunks of cooked chicken, a cheesesteak should be thin slices that are chopped on the grill after the cheese has started to melt. As a Jersey girl, my expectations were dashed. Setting that aside it was still a decent sandwich, just not a cheesesteak. Next time I'm in Pennsgrove I'll get a cheesesteak, in Park City I'll order the Chicken Parm.
