While they have freedom of speech you should absolutely know better than to talk about it while you're on the clock or in front of customers who just want to come in and relax and unwind from their day by day life, but like hearing them rant about democrats/republicans and how much they hate the current president and g@y people and tr@ns I immediately was like I'm sick of it (no I don't consider myself as neither or voted for anyone ever in my life). Kyle thrift you have managers tell them to view cameras you can see them yourself it was an elder woman with glasses short gray hair and she was with a book cart and the cashier was a slim man with a black hat backwards and gauges in his ear. This happened between 12pm-1pm... so sad that this is what this world become hatred and politics views and discrimination. Also their prices have been like goodwill the imagine below was on 50% being that these places are meant for people who can't afford new clothes or etc.

My husband and I ended up chatting with Danny, who runs the shop, and we could have stayed there talking for hours. He was so welcoming and had so many great stories about the local area, the growth around Buda, and of course all the amazing nostalgia pieces packed inside the store. The shop itself is awesome. You can tell Danny and his wife (who we didn't get the pleasure of meeting) puts a lot of heart and care into curating everything. It's the kind of place where you find little treasures tucked into every corner. From vintage shirts to classic antiques, everything has a story behind it. We honestly went in because of a t-shirt, but left feeling like we got a little glimpse into Buda's past too. Definitely a must-stop if you're in the area. Can't wait to come back and see what new finds are waiting next time.

My kids were very excited to shop around for toys. My little one dropped one toy to the floor, then the owner yelled to both of them. Ordered them to put down all the toys and not touching anything any more. After that, my kids were getting terrified literally and refused to enter any store on that street. We have never been treated this way before. How you are treating customers is also the way you treat other people. Be careful of this store if you are considering about it. Google review is not true. Jilted Sparks was the only business that wasn't trying to price gouge me, and quoted a very fair price. I needed transportation to/from my place, and Mandi was able to accommodate that in the quote. She kept in contact with me every step of the way, and provided me many photos to make sure I was happy with the final color. There were a few touch ups last minute that needed extra time to dry, so she advised me to just let the table sit for a couple days before using it. Now the table is a very close match to its original condition. All in all, very satisfied with the result and cost of the project, and would gladly work with Mandi again for any similar projects.

All areas are organized and items are always marked. They have a large bric brac and household section so be sure to hit that first as I found so many great additions for our home from vases, glassware, a desk monitor stand, and even picture frames. We are greeted every time we walk in and when we head out. This Goodwill location is worth just a few hops away from South Austin.
