I came in to sell clothes and was greeted with just a blank stare like how dare I walk into the store where they work at... Selling wise they really low ball you on clothing and they throw away perfectly good baby clothes in the dumpster around back so if YALL want check it out at the end of the day after they close. I demanded cash instead of store credit after my experience. I showed up at 6:12pm on Sunday minutes after they closed when I saw them putting away the outside strollers I asked I know yall are closed but I was coming to pick up the clothes yall didn't want or atleast my basket that I placed all the items in, the girl said oh once we close we KEEP the items and that really surprised me considering they've stated that they DONT take DONATIONS, but I thought okay that's ok atleast the clothes won't go to waste, I show up the next day to pick up my basket and the cashier doesn't even say anything, I ask her or did yall throw that away. And she just stares and says yea. So I ask well where did you put it I can go get it from the dumpster if they haven't came for the trash yet, another lady says around back I don't think they've came for it yet, & there I find it in the dumpster along with a whole bunch of baby clothes that aren't even a year old or worn for more than a month. As a mom that really broke my heart and was honestly in tears because for one you're dealing with our babies clothes that hold memories and all mommas hope they are going to a new home for more memories, I understand throwing away very outdated and damaged clothes but that was not the case for these, I'm assuming they just have so much inventory that they think it's ok to throw away our babies clothes. Safe to say I'm not going to support this anymore, it really contradicts what they promote themselves to be, if I could've I would've taken all of my baby girls clothes out of the dumpster and taken back the ones they accepted as well because clearly they don't value what we bring to them. They gave me $23 and threw away the whole bag and a half I brought to sell to them. I'm probably going to get a reply just reiterating they're policy for showing up after closing but I don't wanna hear it because it's basic human compassion especially when ur target is MOMS AND THEIR BABIES to be honest and not say oh we KEEP the clothes, no just say you threw away my babies perfectly good clothes in the dumpster so that you don't have clutter & along with the container brought in which is my property so that I can go get it before it's taken to the landfill.

The organization of sizes was not intuitive, and there was some mix-up between sizes. I was disappointed to see numerous stained items or just clothes in quite poor, washed-out condition. There were also too many vendors. Consignors also need to stop providing items that reek of scented laundry detergent or fabric softener. Baby clothes are not supposed to be washed with either of these, and the nasty odors can be difficult to get out. If the sale returns, it needs to lower prices and have higher standards for what is accepted.

It's tucked away in the middle so it's a bit hard to locate at first. The parking is a bit odd cause you'll more than likely have to park directly in front of another business- and while that sounds normal, once you see it, you'll know what I mean! When you enter Tiny Texan Exchange, it is a small shop but it is full of merchandise! There is a growing selection of infant, toddler, small child, and maternity clothes. As well as toys, accessories, baby gear, and a few other bits and bobs. My son, unfortunately, did not fit anything that had to offer at the time (pre-grand opening) so we opted to purchase a couple toys! The owner was there, working hard, and holding great conversation the whole time! She loves to yap- a woman of my own heart! They had a pretty great selection of clothing, most of it in great condition. I found my daughter a pair of nice jeans and a cute top. They also have some toys and books for sale. Prices are very reasonable. One of the best parts is that they have a play area (gated) so your kid can have fun while you shop. Brilliant. My daughter was super excited about this (we just dragged her through the antique mall nearby where she couldn't touch any of the collectible toys, haha). The owners are really nice and helpful. We found out that they also work with local organizations that connect them with families in need. Awesome. Great experience and will definitely be returning.
