This was a 30-minute drive for me from Pflugerville. I can only speak to the selling process at this location, which I think could be helpful for other people in my position. The store did not explain the process to me. I brought in a handful of items, and I was asked to provide my driver's license. They put my items in a bin and I was told that the store had a 2-hour backlog of items to go through. No problem; I drove back home and received a voice mail later that day that they were finished and I could come pick up my items. I returned the phone call and found out that I HAD to physically come back to the store within 24 hours to pick up any items they didn't want and to receive my credit for the items they wanted to keep. There is no other option. I explained that I was 30 minutes away (and I actually had to be out of town that day) and could they just let me know how much they were buying? No, they would not offer that information over the phone. So I rearranged my work trip schedule to add an extra hour on the road to drive to Georgetown and back, only to find out they were only offering to buy ONE item, at less than $2. So that likely didn't even cover my gas to drive there and back twice. If I had known, I wouldn't have even bothered to go back and pick up my items, which ended up going in the convenient clothes donation bin located behind the store in the parking lot.

Store is small so bulky items like cribs are not accepted. If you have a large item, call ahead to gauge interest. Bring your driver's license. This was my first time selling with them (any location) but the process was fairly straightforward. The employees could have been a bit more helpful (especially since I was struggling to drag multiple large items into the doorway) but they were easy to interact with and mostly pleasant. HOW IT WORKS: You bring your stuff. If it's in bags or bins of clothes/toys -- they limit it to two items per selling session. You scan the QR code on the counter and fill out the online form to register. They call your name and check you in. They give you a time estimate and you can either leave or stay in the store. You get a text message when your stuff has been reviewed. Note: they can only hold your stuff for about a day (24 hours, I believe) so plan accordingly. You come back and they tell you what they would like to buy and how much they will offer you for it. You can accept either cash or credit (same amount, you don't get more for choosing credit, like at Buffalo Exchange). Credit only makes sense if you're buying something else on the spot. They also return anything they don't want. Note: if you want to be in and out as fast as possible, get there 10-15 minutes before they open and wait outside the door so you can be first in line to sell. I've come several times at 10am and there's always someone there already. PURCHASE RATE: They took most of what I brought. I brought 2 large containers of clothes and toys and they took about 90% of it. I had already filtered to try to pull out anything damaged but I'm still very pleased with how much they bought. It also depends on their current inventory. I noticed they had a few baby carriers in stock -- assuming they will pay less or reject them altogether. PAYOUT: For used clothes, it won't be that high. Obviously, depends on brand and condition too. Same for other items. For instance, I brought a Baby Bjorn Bouncer (Bliss) in a discontinued color (clean, great condition, toy bar included). About $300 value originally. They offered me about $30. Not as much as I could get if I really invested effort in selling it online but not bad. Regarding my two aforementioned containers of clothes and toys, they paid $50. I had a few brand new (with tags) items so I feel like the payout was higher than usual. BULKY ITEMS: Please note that this store is pretty cramped and stuffed full of items for sale. They put their strollers outside but the inside doesn't leave much room for bulky items. As a result, they don't accept cribs. They might accept other large items depending on brand, whether it folds, condition, and what they currently have in stock. I saw a pack and play there but they may only have room for one at a time. It doesn't hurt to call and ask if you've got a large item and don't want to lug it in unnecessarily. They did accept a Regalo playpen I brought in (it did fold up though). PARKING: It's in a strip mall so parking is easy. Ultimately, I'm just happy to pass on my stuff (and keep it out of the landfill) and make a few bucks in the process.

It's tucked away in the middle so it's a bit hard to locate at first. The parking is a bit odd cause you'll more than likely have to park directly in front of another business- and while that sounds normal, once you see it, you'll know what I mean! When you enter Tiny Texan Exchange, it is a small shop but it is full of merchandise! There is a growing selection of infant, toddler, small child, and maternity clothes. As well as toys, accessories, baby gear, and a few other bits and bobs. My son, unfortunately, did not fit anything that had to offer at the time (pre-grand opening) so we opted to purchase a couple toys! The owner was there, working hard, and holding great conversation the whole time! She loves to yap- a woman of my own heart! We look forward to selling items and hopefully purchasing clothing in the near future. At this time, they are only offering store credit for sold merchandise but for most that works out perfectly!

They had a pretty great selection of clothing, most of it in great condition. I found my daughter a pair of nice jeans and a cute top. They also have some toys and books for sale. Prices are very reasonable. One of the best parts is that they have a play area (gated) so your kid can have fun while you shop. Brilliant. My daughter was super excited about this (we just dragged her through the antique mall nearby where she couldn't touch any of the collectible toys, haha). The owners are really nice and helpful. We found out that they also work with local organizations that connect them with families in need. Awesome. Great experience and will definitely be returning. Yes, you have to go into this store with some knowledge of what you're looking for before hand. They will help educate you a little, but if you are cloth diapering, know your options! They offer free cloth diapering classes with a very informed cloth diapering mama, so if you are new to CDing, then go to that before you start venturing into the store. Sometimes they do run out of items since they are selling both locally and online but if you follow them on facebook, they tell you when they are restocked. They also run sales pretty regularly. Honestly, there are very few local places to find the items that they sell so I appreciate the huge diversity of options that Tiny Birds supplies. The prices are comparable to what you will find online (since they also operate as an online shop and have to compete with other online retailers) but sometimes they are a tad more expensive. But you know what? I'll pay the extra $1 or 2 to support a local business with a great mission. And you know what else? You can get local, organic, free range eggs here too!
