Just wanted to update the review since it's been a year. ****COVID RELATED INFO**** so this place is doing a great job at making sure people are safe as well as the staff here. Now instead of going in the store they have a little drive thru like window where you can purchase whatever you want and get it without having to be near others or in an indoor space. It's a great way to stay open during these uncertain times. My bf and I really enjoy this place. They have a wonderful assortment of wines.

Cute little specialty store with a nice curation of wine and popular books. They have some great gift boxes and other items that would make a lovely house warming or birthday gift!

A feminist wine shop! I'm so excited this gem is in the neighborhood. Vinovore curates delicious wines from all over the world from lady winemakers, which is brilliant. I came here because they were hosting an adoption event with MaeDay Rescue. Getting to cuddle puppies and taste wine is pretty much the best way to spend a Saturday. Part of their wine sales was donated to the rescue, so of course we had to pick up a bottle of wine. We grabbed a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc from High Valley Vineyard that we had tasted. It was reasonably priced, only $15, and it was delicious. Definitely tasted more expensive, so it's a wonderful value. My husband became enamored with a slingshot with a fox's face on it, so we took that home instead of a puppy (probably for the best). So not only do they have lots of wine, they also have cute gifts. I'll definitely be back to buy more wine and support female winemakers!

Nice little spot that I found after an art show! It has different types of wines categorized by your personality type. On the wall, it will explain the different color of stickers represent what type of taste you are fond of. They also have birthday cards, wine openers, and gift sets.

A literal little hole in the wall, tucked away and unassuming, the kind of hidden gem that reminds you why small neighborhood shops matter so much. From the moment you walk in, the energy shifts. The space immediately feels tranquil, peaceful, and intimate. Soft lighting, neutral tones, and thoughtfully styled shelves create a calm, almost meditative atmosphere. Nothing feels rushed or overwhelming. Every corner feels intentional, from the clean, minimalist shelving lined with beautifully illustrated greeting cards, to the curated displays of candles, gifts, children's items, art prints, and thoughtful little objects you didn't know you needed until you saw them. I came in with a very specific mission, to find a Valentine's card, but not the overly romantic, cliché kind. I was looking for something that simply said, "I choose you." Subtle, meaningful, timeless. I narrowed it down to five cards, each with its own charm, clever illustration, or heartfelt message. That's when Savanna stepped in, and honestly, she made the experience. Savanna is the definition of exceptional customer service. Patient, warm, and genuinely present, she has an incredible ability to match your energy without overpowering it. She listened, asked the right questions, and helped guide the decision without ever making it feel forced. You could tell she truly knows the products and understands the intention behind them. The card she helped me choose felt right, like it was meant to be picked. The shop itself is spotless and beautifully organized. The card wall is a standout, rows of unique designs, playful illustrations, modern typography, and artful sentiments that feel personal rather than mass produced. Beyond cards, the photos show how carefully curated everything is, cozy candles with clean packaging, tasteful home goods, children's books and toys arranged with care, soft textiles, and charming little gifts that make perfect "just because" finds. Nothing feels cluttered, everything has space to breathe. There's a sense of calm confidence in this shop, it doesn't need to shout to get your attention. It invites you in quietly, lets you take your time, and leaves you feeling lighter when you walk out. Shout and About isn't just a store, it's an experience. One rooted in intention, warmth, and genuine human connection. If you're in Echo Park and appreciate thoughtful design, meaningful gifts, and service that feels truly personal, this place is absolutely worth seeking out. Hidden like all gems are, but unforgettable once you find it.

This is the flagship shop opened in 2015 and there are currently three brick-and-mortar locations in Echo Park, Carlsbad, and Encinitas. [Parking]: Parking is very difficult in this part of town. I got really lucky and found a residential street spot on Grafton St. [Merchandise]: The shop offers many cute gifts including home goods, scented candles, tote bags, and a section with items for children and babies such as children's books and random animal plushies. I like some of their greeting card designs, but there is not much of a stationery selection. There is also a mini print vending machine at the front entrance. [Conclusion]: I am not sure whether I would drive out of my way just to shop for gifts here as there are too many random items. It would be nicer if the shop focused on a more specific niche category rather than being a jack-of-all-trades gift store.

They cary quite a bit of jewelry featuring silver and semi-precious gems. There were also a number of geodes that were set and ready to use as objet d'art in your home, including citrine and amethyst.
