Punctured rear corner panel replaced

Extraordinary quality at a fair price. Had a punctured rear corner panel replaced. It literally looks like new. Vinnie knows Airstreams

Mentoring the next generation of professionals in excellence is why Vinnie's Northbay Airstream Repair is our first choice.

As houseless retirees, we travel widely and live in our Airstream. Our high-energy lifestyle would not be possible without an annual visit to Wilton. Most repairs for any Airstream trailer can be done right here. Vinny and his team listen to us as we explain to them our annual list of trailer issues but, over the years, we've come to realize that Vinnie Lamica and his team know our Airstream better than we do and they respond with the best solutions (for us) understanding that not all owners use their trailers to the extreme. We find that it is much less expensive to drive across the country to have non-emergency repairs because Vinnie's Northbay Airstream Repair will do the job correctly the first time. And if there's a wait, it's worth it. We know from experience the repairs and upgrades will be addressed in less time than most other shops require. Having our trailer, Beauty, in knowledgable and expert hands gives us peace of mind and more time to do what we do best - travel and live in Beauty.

Dented (oooopsie!) by my storage facility...

Everyone knows Vinnie's North Bay Airstream Repair does exceptional work. Everyone who reads the Airstream Forum user boards knows people travel from across the country just to get repair work done by Vinnie Lamica, the owner of Vinnie's Airstream. If you've ever been to a local Airstream event, it only takes a few minutes before someone finds a way to recommend Vinnie to fix whatever ails your Airstream trailer. He's the shaman of Airstreams... the #AirstreamWhisperer. But then, my Airstream got into a little accident (my truly awesome storage facility rear-ended her into a pole --- yikes!) and I went from knowing Vinnie was "a thing" to needing Vinnie's expertise. It got real. Real quick. And now I know why people travel from all the way across the country... bypassing dozens of dealerships, qualified repair shops, and a host of options... to get to Vinnie all the way up in Wilton, California. (And you should, too.) You might have to wait a little while. But anything worth having is worth waiting for. . Yes, the quality of Vinnie's work is better than the dealers' service departments and I believe is most likely better than you'll see at Jackson Center (Airstream HQ). His prices are (smh)... well they're just criminal... a crime to him, that is. He could make twice as much money, but that's not his goal. He just loves people and Airstreams - and he wants to do good work that he enjoys. So he charges a MORE THAN FAIR price (well, "fair" for his customers). Vinnie can also do EVVVVVERYTHING - bodywork (check!), plumbing (check!), electrical (yep!), subfloor (check!), AC and heating (check!), tires and breaks (check!), leaks and windows and weatherproofing (check!), ceramic coating protection (check!), new technology (check-check-check!). The range of things that man can do in one shop is mind-blowing. So what's left to talk about that everyone who's anyone (who knows about Airstreams) doesn't already know? I'll talk about service and communication - because I have never experienced anything like this in the RV/automotive/service oriented world. When Vinnie is working on your Airstream - even though you're maybe hundreds of miles away, he's in constant communication. He's your new best friend. He just "gets" that your Airstream is like your "Aluminum Baby" and he makes darn sure you know what's going on... Every Day. And he does it in plain and simple terms (and almost always with pictures or videos). His level of communication is just remarkable (and unheard of). You almost don't want him to be done because the "project" is just so much darn fun. I figured out that's why all the old-timers call Vinnie's shop "The Airstream Ranch" or "The Airstream Spa" - because when they take their Aluminum Babies up to Wilton for some TLC, they know their little "pride and joys" are going to be given the very best of care. There was a cold weather front while my Airstream was being repaired and Vinnie put out an announcement on Facebook to let everyone know he had emptied their water tanks, etc. - so no one had to worry about anything freezing over, etc. You see, that's just the kind of proactive, thoughtful communication that Vinnie offers to his customers. Behavior like that makes him more than just a business owner - he's a sought-after leader in this tight-knit community. Now that my Bella has spent some time at The Airstream Spa, I get it. I could barely get her to come home. And her little boo-boo from the storage facility... what boo-boo? It's like it never happened. But my, oh how she enjoyed that vacation trip up north!

A few Airstreams in for repair, and a portion of his shop.

If you own an Airstream, new or old, Vinnie is your "go to guy" for any repairs needed. Reliable and honest, he's the best.

I have an 11 year old Airstream Quicksilver that requires a mechanic with attention to details who will maintain the showroom beauty this trailer had when it left the showroom floor. ...easier said than done, as finding an Airstream mechanic who understands (maybe) , appreciates (possibly) and has the mastery skills (good luck) to work on later model Airstreams is like finding a needle in a haystack. The needle in a haystack is Vinnie's Northbay Airstream in Wilton, CA. After so many bad experiences with repairs and wanting to preserve my Quicksilver for many more years/decades to come, I got serious about researching who's the best...Vinnie's name kept popping up. Only problem, Vinnie was a 14 hour round trip from me. Vinnie's rates are near 50% cheaper than anyone in SoCal and his skills are legendary amongst his customers. 50% cheaper, done right the first time and done at a higher level of craftsmanship than even the factory? Hello Denny's, McDonald's, Truck Stops, Mountain Dew, Beef Jerky and 70mph cruise control. Vinnie is located just off the highway in the tranquil California Countryside surrounded by horses. Pulling up his driveway, you immediately see a massive multibay Airstream repair facility. Once close up, you see an immaculate state of the art facility that is highly organized (important when dealing with Airstreams with hundreds of rivets and other parts). I needed a major detail and a laundry list of other time consuming to do's. Most places would want my Airstream for days/weeks. Vinnie had me show up at 9am and worked past his closing hours to complete everything with an attention to detail that no other Airstream repair shop has even come close to matching. Amazing attention to detail, amazing knowledge, amazing passion and most important: Amazing Skill level to repair/beautify what ails your Airstream. Will make a yearly journey to Vinnie to ensure my Quicksilver stays silver and provides decades more memories for me and my wife. Long winded review, but I wanted to let others whom may be on the fence driving so far to make the trip...you're Airstream will thank you.

If you're in need of repairs or accessories on your Modern Airstream (2000 or newer), Vinnie is the man to see. His wealth of knowledge is impeccable! I was able to email a list of warranty issues in need of repair. During the course of our emails, Vinnie planned out 2-days needed for repairs. Mind you thru the entire process, I kept adding more work for Vinnie to install (soft start, 3-Stage Converter, back-up camera, 6V battery upgrade), including to the day I dropped it off. I dropped off my Airstream Monday morning. As soon as I unhitched, Vinnie wasted no time and pulled it into his his shop (which he had a spot already cleared for it) and immediately started working on it. He takes the time to show you what need to be done and how to prevent damage for occurring. Vinnie keeps You updated throughout the day via text, sending photos of repairs. By the end of the day, I received a text from Vinnie my Airstream would be ready by 10 am! Got a text at 8:30 the next morning that my Airstream was ready to go - Wow! You know you're in good hands the day you pull your Airstream into Vinnie's shop. Vinnie treats your Airstream like his own, and gives 100% attention to You and your Airstream. All work is performed by Vinnie himself too! Vinnie won't sell you a product he doesn't believe in just to make a buck. He definitely goes the extra mile passing on his knowledge and experience with Airstreams. He definitely enjoys what he does. How much do I trust Vinnie with my Airstream? I drove almost 800 miles each way to get my Airstream worked on. You definitely won't find better Customer Service or Quality Workmanship from anywhere else but Vinnies North Bay Airstream Repair. You won't be disappointed! P.S. I'm already making a wish list of accessories I want installed on my next trip up (Solar, new dome, permanent surge protector, Weboost) - the list never ends! Thanks Vinnie!

Worst experience in my whole life. Total frauds. As a small business owner who owns an ice company…read morein the summer heat I needed a simple oil leak fixed and fixed fast. They made up a million things and a 15,000$ quote and told me 2 week wait. After 4 days they didn't call me and all they did was a quote that was beyond laughable..

This company came out twice to diagnose a problem with my RV not starting. The first bill was for…read more$900.00 and they did not fix the problem. I called them back again and told them the problem was not fixed and to return. They came out on the 30th to try again. The tech looked for codes which there were none thrown. Then he said it was the chasis batteries and replaced them. Still would not work. Then he said the house betteries were bad and should replace those. Well the house batteries have nothing to do with the engine or chasis power. So they replaced those. After all said and done and with a bill of almost $3,000.00 the problem was not fixed. I told them to get the batteries since it was not the issue. Also they marked them up 40% from cost. The tech wanted to come Friday and i went to Chico and would be back. He text me Monday and said he was on his way and would be there by 9 AM. I responded that i could not make that time but when i return, i will take out batteries and give to them and they could adjust my bill. When i returned to my RV, i had realized they came there without my presence, broke into my battery storage bay and took the batteries and put old ones back. They did not hook up a possitive cable and the battery hold down brackets. They dented the door, broke the entry latch etc. I called the owner and explained to him that what he did was not right. His response was do what i need to do. So a police report filed and BAR will be contacted as well. I then called Cummins West. They came out, ran the codes and determined was a loose ground wire. Fixed problem with 10 minutes and $300.00. Whoever uses this shop beware as they have no clue on how to work on diesel motorhomes.
