If you want a super cool tie (i don't know who wears ties) then check it out! the prints and colors were so fun to look at! there were some cute dresses also. Okay I came in here not attempting to buy anything and ended up leaving with 2 items. Don't go shopping with friends who LOVE to shop because I will be easily convinced. This store is super clean and easy to navigate and actually has a ton of cute stuff for spring and summer. Even as someone who does not love super colorful things to wear there were a few items I would get. I got my husband a shirt and coozie because I could not resist the printed tshirt with a golden retriever on it for him for the summer. read more

Customer service is wonderful. We've visited this location on a few occasions now as we are in this area often. It has been my family's favorite summer style this year. Their clothing is such excellent quality and so comfortable. I absolutely love seeing the fit and sophisticated, sporty looks with the mens' looks. I also love the women's athletic and sporty apparel, like their pullovers and the tennis/golf skirts (lined with shorts underneath). Sizing is very generous in my opinion, as I fit into their XXS and I'm usually a size small or a 3/4 in most other stores. For boys' fits, my son is a slender 65 lbs and fits boy's size 10 when he's usually a size 12 or a medium. Men's clothing seems true-to-size ranging in their slim fit or classic fit. Our favorite items overall have been the performance breaker material. The gentleman (I believe he's the store manager?) who always helps us is so accommodating. Today, he went as far as having our clothing 2nd Day Aired to our home to ensure ease of our transaction since an item was not in stock on the floor. If I could get my son to always wear pastels and plaids, I'd be here every month, probably. For now, he will wear this style for me on our vacations. I think seeing his dad wear the looks so often, he will become more drawn to the style as well. As a mom, I'm hopeful! (I am becoming so bored with the teen fashion of jeans and a t-shirt :) ) I will always be a fan of this style and also apt to try more of their women's apparel soon. read more

As a preppy New York native, I was thrilled to see this east coast brand move west and open in San Diego! Vineyard Vines is truly a feel-good lifestyle brand with a wide variety of bright colors, fun patters and a casual vibes. I have been to many Vineyard Vines locations, and can say that the employees here provided some of the best customer service. They were extremely friendly and seemed to greet everyone that walked through their doors. Once inside, the employees here were quick to offer assistance in finding me a size. This location also hosts in-store events, like their cornhole tournament! Stop by with your dog for a treat, or with your kids for one of their signature whale stickers! Awesome customer service, great merch, cute shirts. You really can't go wrong with a brand that revolves around an adorable whale. This store in particular boasts clean fitting rooms, attentive but not at all pushy employees, and soft, comfy shirts. Their performance wear rivals Lululemon and they host community events like corn hole tournaments and beer and pizza nights. It's a good place to stop by for summer essentials like tumblers, pool floaties, beer cozies and more. Consistently I witnessed horrible customer service at this store. Unfortunately there seems to be a hiring practice at these stores. We were in Boston and experience the same rude - I'm better than everyone else attitude. Vineyard Vines hasn't yet sorted out how to translate its Northeastern preppie aesthetic to SoCal: Longer shorts and fewer whales would be a good start. However, I would note some excellent customer service today by Colin, who sorted out a store credit issue very creatively and put extra effort into making sure my wife and I exited happily. Once the parent company figures out what offerings are going to work in this area, VV will be a good resource-the clothing quality has always been solid. read more
