So we have been searching for Greek food as well as the perfect pizza in this town since we moved here last summer and since this place had great reviews we decided to give it a try. OMG. This was the BEST Gyro and fries we have EVER HAD and we have tried them around the USA. The place is just a little dive (those are usually the best! ) and had the biggest "love and history" vibe. It clearly shows in the food. We wanted to try the pizza that looked so delicious next so ordered it a few days later and so glad we did !! Amazing !!

    A perfect Circle. Lol

Nope. There is a seam down the crust it's perfectly circular, and it tastes like a cracker. There is no tang from the sauce. I can't even taste it. Too much cheese. Disappointing. The gyro isn't a gyro. It was way too much meat, no balance at all. Also, a tablespoon of Tzatzik? Whatever. The service was fine. The place has the visual earmarks I look for when attempting to find something that isn't a chain. The chains are winning and that's disheartening. I bet they weren't like this when they opened. Moving on......

Heart shaped pepp. Pizza. The best pie and gyro in town!

Great Pizza and very nice owner that makes sure you are satisfied with your order! So enjoyed the ambiance of that traditional simple Italian style Pizza Cafe'. I ordered a small cheese pizza for the boys and a Greek salad for myself. Each very good.... the crust was super yummy! I sense the owner has been around for many years making pizzas for this neighborhood. BRAVO!!!

Up until recently you could just add to your Yelp review by clicking on "Edit review" but Yelp has recently changed that. Now you have to start all over with a new review if you want to describe a more recent experience. You can't even go back and correct any typos you see which is really irritating. Now on to my review: I've had the spaghetti here twice and just love it. It's about as close as my mother's spaghetti as I can find. She wasn't Italian but she learned how to make spaghetti back in the 1940s from an Italian neighbor. I went back to try their Greek chicken which seemed to be only available in the Greek salad but it was more of a disappointment. The chicken was fine but to me Greek chicken should be grilled or roasted in lemon juice and garlic which this didn't seem to be, or so it wasn't very strong. The lettuce, tomatoes and onions were nice and fresh and crunchy but the dressing was just bottled Italian, nothing Greek about it at all. I've made Greek dressing at home so I know it's not that hard. Olive oil, lemon juice, vinegar (red wine vinegar works great), garlic, seasonings like oregano and basil, salt and pepper. Salad dressing can make or break a salad and the real deal is probably cheaper than buying bottled anyway . Maybe there just isn't a lot of demand for it in Amarillo. The pita bread was okay but didn't taste real good quality or fresh. It could have benefited greatly from a quick grill/fry in olive oil. That's the best way so it is crunchy on the outside like toast or a toasted hamburger bun. There was some Greek feta cheese but it was in little cubes rather than crumbled over the top traditional style. The Greek olives had good flavor but were very tiny and kind of mushy so they probably came out of a can. At least they were Greek olives, not like another place where I ordered a Greek salad and they just put regular black olives over the top. Give me a break. The people who own the place are very nice. I like them a lot. I'll come back for the spaghetti for sure and I should probably try their gyros someday since it has such a good reputation. I saw a lot of people coming in for takeout pizza so maybe I should try that too.

You can order Pizza without cheese. Maybe I forgot to tell them I needed cheese on my pizza. Booo

Not the same place it used to be. They gave me a pizza that was 1/3 without cheese. Too bad. I used to love Vinces.

A must-have. I have always loved this place. Pizza, gyros, and calzone are all in a league of their own. Get them all.

The gyros are the best I've had anywhere! They also have citywide delivery. Pizza, lasagna and more.

Not knowing what to pick, I did a quick search for pizza restaurants and stumbled upon Nomad Napoletana. Luckily, it was just a short four-block walk from the office. Having never been here before, I was not sure what to expect. The interior was clean and modern, and I was quick to be greeted by the friendly staff. I picked the Roni con Queso lunch special with a Caesar salad on the side. For only $10, I got a freshly baked slice of pizza, a fairly large salad, and a drink. The food was delicious. Since I was on my lunch break, I wasn't able to try one of their numerous wines or beers on display. But next time, I'll be sure to see what they have on offer. Needless to say, I really enjoyed this restaurant and definitely plan to come back.

I went with the Diablo slice, and the sauce was absolutely delicious with just the right amount of heat. Spicy enough to clear your sinuses without overpowering the flavor. The side salad was fresh and well put together (not an afterthought), and a large Coke rounded it out perfectly. Great flavors, great value, and definitely a place I'll be back to. Highly recommend for a quick but satisfying lunch.
