My husband and I went there on anniversary to do something different, ARRIVED 6:30pm 2 ordered wing special, 1/2 dozen large crabs , & 2 corn such a small order. !??? So it should not be hard. Crabs were not fresh , steam over , CORN SHE FORGOT to ring it up OKAY the girl on the register (HEAVY SET YOUNG LADY) second time she rings up we finish I returned to register to inform we never received the order of corn it was 7:30pm, I ask for refund POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE ( and they are serving bad steam over crabs ) my crabs hot no taste . BAD BAD BAD the health department should visit And to top it off, the register young lady was eating behind the counter from the time we arrive!!!!! read more

My regular crab spots were out of large females and my wife would only eat from those places so I decided to sneak and try them, years after the boycott, I didn't feel uncomfortable or like I didn't receive fair service, they were nice each of my last 4 visits. My wife fell in love with them and the crabs were all large and good, I surprised her with 2 1/2 dozen a few days ago and ate a few, they were more salty than before but she ate them. I couldn't finish mines once I in wrapped my steamed corn and they had caterpillars I was done I will still shop there for crabs, but never corn. Worst customer service EVER!!! They really need training in people skills and communication. I use to love this place when I lived in Maryland. I was really missing having crabs and decided to place an order for 1/2 bushel to be shipped paid extra for next day shipping. I ordered take out which included coconut shrimp and a loaded baked potato which totaled approximately $30. The shrimp were obviously cooked from frozen and had little fresh flavor. Service was excellent particularly the young lady manning the registers. The crabs were a bit of a disappointment - too much old bay seasoning. I should have known better than to order a cheesesteak from a crab house. Serves me right. The look and smell had my hopes up until I took my first bite. Maybe I'm used to steak subs where I don't have to chew with force. I tried to eat most of it but my jaw gave out. I'm guessing shoe leather might have been more tender. Just went there yesterday 7/21/24. I ordered the seafood Quesadilla which was to have crab and shrimp and I didn't see any crab and it was loaded with way too much cheese. My niece order crab imperial at $32 and the piece of chicken was no bigger than a McDonalds hamburger. Was not worth $32. I would have returned it. I used to live in Maryland and Moved to Fort Worth, Texas 10 Years ago, so I know about Chesapeake Bay Crabs. I have been getting Crabs and Crabcakes shipped on Dried Ice for years which is very expensive from 2 other places, But I ordered for the first time at Vince's Crab House Middle River, and I will say this first I spoke to Summer, and she was sweet and very pleasant to talk to and spoke the truth. Then I placed my order on line for a dozen Jumbo crabs and 4-Premium Crabcakes. The price was great, and the order was unbelievable. The Crabs were big and heavy as summer had told me on the phone and the Crabcakes were the Best I have had in years. Vince's is my Number One choice for Crabs and Crabcakes. I was reading some of the negative reviews and no matter what you do there is always somebody out there that talks garbage but ignore it because you Guys Knock it Out of the Park. One of the best places around to get crabs. We always order them to go and we've steamed them ourselves at home or we've ordered them already steamed. (As pictured below) Their service is always fast, crabs are never over cooked or watery and their Vince's seasoning is pretty dang good. A complete shit show!! Order twice and both experiences were horrible. This last time I place my order on line at 5pm on a Thursday with a 1 day ship. I paid the extra, exactly what they said the amount was expecting my order to process the next business day with a 1 day delivery. They charged my card the same day but Thursday nor Friday I did not get any order confirmation or shipping info so I called. When I they wanted my to pay an extra $60 for the same next day delivery they already charge me for. Or else I won't get my order until next Tuesday. These people are a rip off, do not order. They don't ship you order for the time you pay. They process you order when they fell like it and they always want more money after you place your order for something. At first glance, it seems like it's just a seafood shop but they actually have a semi-small dining area. Ordered a bunch of food including their crab fries, snow crabs, shrimp tacos, and seafood platter... and LET ME TELL YOU... everything was DELICIOUS! The blue crabs had tons of meat and left us wanting more! Seems like they have their own boat to go fishing, crabbing, and the likes so you know that they mean business. The people working there were pleasant. For the most part we were left alone but if we needed something, they are quick to help. Hadn't been in a couple of years but after buying a coupon from Dealhere.com we have been coming here pretty much once a week. I'm still hooked on the stuffed shrimp, it's unlike any other in the face that it is all lump crab meat with an imperial sauce atop tender butterflied shrimp and served in a seashell - my absolute favorite thing on the menu. The blackened scallop platter comes in a close second and I get sweet Thai Chili dipping sauce to dip the scallops in for a sweet and savory treat. Hubby loves the blackened shrimp fettuccine alfredo and the portion is so large he had enough for lunch the next day. The staff is always super friendly but I can always depend on Brittany to give me a good laugh, especially when she's all riled up watching a football game, she is truly the heart and soul of the place. read more

I was impressed with the the amount of crab meat place on top of the crab. I wished the crab cake on top was a little more seasoned. Once you break through the Batter on top, it's a small mountain of crab meat. Once your done with the crab cake you have the actual crab left. The claws and and body Portions was very nice to eat. My wife and I have found our favorite sit in crab spot and it's called Vince's crab house in middle river we brought the extra large females for 95 dollars a dozen and when I say they were heavy and lots of meat smh lol and we also had corn on the cobb that corn was so sweet and good it didn't need anything else on it and we had the cream of crab soup off the chain very delicious no need to add any more flavor to that as well then to top it off we had two deep fried stuffed crabs with the top shell off filled with lump crab meat fried to profection we can say best money well spent on great seafood oh we will be back in a week or two guaranteed job well done you guy's oh almost forgot about the service loved it and a awesome atmosphere what else more can I say knocked it out the park read more

The jumbo lump crab cake had more bread in it than crab meat. The bang bang shrimp tasted old, even sour, far from fresh! Crab mac and chesse was gross and the lobster mac and cheese ever worse. NONE OF THE FOOD WAS SEASONED W OLD BAY AT ALL! They also dont have old bay on any of their tables. We spent well over 100 dollars and the fris were the only thing we liked. We ordered Vince's on UberEats. The food arrives rather quickly in about 30-40 minutes later. We ordered Shrimp Imperial, Old Bay Wings, Crab Dip, A quesadilla of some sort. The Shrimp Imperial portion was small. The large gulf shrimp were small butterflied Shrimp. The portion of imperial was fine, and it was nicely presented in a giant clam shell, a cute touch. The Quesedilla, smelled a little charred. The wings were ok, mildly seasoned. And I did not try the crab dip. The bread bowl that it came in nearly soaked up all of the dip. All in all, the food was good enough the reputation of the place is "long enough" for me to go in to try the crabs but I'd look elsewhere for the entrees and appetizers we ordered the next time we get an itch for fast seafood. read more
