My regular crab spots were out of large females and my wife would only eat from those places so I decided to sneak and try them, years after the boycott, I didn't feel uncomfortable or like I didn't receive fair service, they were nice each of my last 4 visits. My wife fell in love with them and the crabs were all large and good, I surprised her with 2 1/2 dozen a few days ago and ate a few, they were more salty than before but she ate them. I couldn't finish mines once I in wrapped my steamed corn and they had caterpillars I was done I will still shop there for crabs, but never corn. I also wish they carried Natty Bo, crabs are much better with it. read more

I ordered take out which included coconut shrimp and a loaded baked potato which totaled approximately $30. The shrimp were obviously cooked from frozen and had little fresh flavor. The baked potato was not cooked Completely. I had to complete the cooking at home for 30 minutes. Such a disappointment for all that money. read more

Worst customer service EVER!!! They really need training in people skills and communication. I use to love this place when I lived in Maryland. I was really missing having crabs and decided to place an order for 1/2 bushel to be shipped paid extra for next day shipping. This was on Thursday, here it is Monday no order update so I decided to call in only to be given the lame excuse that their vendor never delivered shipping containers. No I'm sorry, no how can we make this better, nothing but a simple o well attitude and we can refund you! read more

Bad food bad service terrible ambiance. Wish I saved my money! Did not deliver quality food as promised!

I ordered crabs online and I did not like the way received my crabs. They were small, picked over, and not the size I ordered. Half of the shell was cracked already and meat was exposed. I will never order from them again, this was my first time ordering from them, talk about first time impression, bad job! read more

I order their crab cakes and crabs often. Only once was there a mishap with shipping, however was outside of their control. We ship to Florida and absolutely enjoy the yumminess. read more

Service was excellent particularly the young lady manning the registers. The crabs were a bit of a disappointment - too much old bay seasoning. We had to wash down the crabs before consuming because it was just too salty. Maybe we'll try the other locations in case they're more thoughtful with how they prepare the crabs. read more

Just went there yesterday 7/21/24. I ordered the seafood Quesadilla which was to have crab and shrimp and I didn't see any crab and it was loaded with way too much cheese. My niece order crab imperial at $32 and the piece of chicken was no bigger than a McDonalds hamburger. Was not worth $32. I would have returned it. Very disappointed and have been going there for years. read more

I should have known better than to order a cheesesteak from a crab house. Serves me right. The look and smell had my hopes up until I took my first bite. Maybe I'm used to steak subs where I don't have to chew with force. I tried to eat most of it but my jaw gave out. I'm guessing shoe leather might have been more tender. I mean I've never heard the "crunch" of meat when eating a steak sub. Don't let this sway you from the seafood and maybe this was just a bad day for the steak sub guy. read more

I love this place the best seafood ever and I love their crab cakes I am just sad I can't call in a delivery no more because they only do online orders but the food is the best read more

This place is horrible. I would never order food from here again. Overpriced food for poor quality. There are too many other options in the area to settle for these guys. The customer service is also horrible. New management is needed! read more

Amazing crabs been going here since 2014 also amazing communication and costumer service 10/10 would never switch up on Vince crab house

I used to live in Maryland and Moved to Fort Worth, Texas 10 Years ago, so I know about Chesapeake Bay Crabs. I have been getting Crabs and Crabcakes shipped on Dried Ice for years which is very expensive from 2 other places, But I ordered for the first time at Vince's Crab House Middle River, and I will say this first I spoke to Summer, and she was sweet and very pleasant to talk to and spoke the truth. Then I placed my order on line for a dozen Jumbo crabs and 4-Premium Crabcakes. The price was great, and the order was unbelievable. The Crabs were big and heavy as summer had told me on the phone and the Crabcakes were the Best I have had in years. Vince's is my Number One choice for Crabs and Crabcakes. I was reading some of the negative reviews and no matter what you do there is always somebody out there that talks garbage but ignore it because you Guys Knock it Out of the Park. Thank you The Jamester read more

One of the best places around to get crabs. We always order them to go and we've steamed them ourselves at home or we've ordered them already steamed. (As pictured below) Their service is always fast, crabs are never over cooked or watery and their Vince's seasoning is pretty dang good. They have so many other items on their menu that look delicious; we will be trying in the near feature. Their shrimp are good too!! read more

This review relates to an online purchase. I ordered a special of 10 jumbo lump crab cakes for 150.00. What I got was a tub of crab cake mix. When I asked what gives, was told "get your fingers dirty Karen. They never said we send a tub and you roll them yourself. False/incomplete advertising, snotty attitude and disrespect for a paying customer. read more

Overpriced very rude to their customers. Disrespectful I would not recommend anybody going to this place. I've gotten bad crabs here before which made me very sick. Buyer beware! I would never buy from this seafood company again. They are always in trouble because of their big mouth and what they say about different people due to the color of their skin! when you walk in that place you pay top dollar for the food, so what should it matter whether you have a different color skin or not? When you do that you're destroying your own business ! Baltimore, Maryland deserves better! read more

A complete shit show!! Order twice and both experiences were horrible. This last time I place my order on line at 5pm on a Thursday with a 1 day ship. I paid the extra, exactly what they said the amount was expecting my order to process the next business day with a 1 day delivery. They charged my card the same day but Thursday nor Friday I did not get any order confirmation or shipping info so I called. When I they wanted my to pay an extra $60 for the same next day delivery they already charge me for. Or else I won't get my order until next Tuesday. These people are a rip off, do not order. They don't ship you order for the time you pay. They process you order when they fell like it and they always want more money after you place your order for something. Worse online and customer experiences ever. Completely rude. She told me I should've offered before 3pm. Even the manager was rude as hell. read more

Great Crabs! Prices are fair. The atmosphere is comfortable and relaxed! I always enjoy my times at Vinces.

I love this place and have been coming with my family for years. The crabs are well priced, very fresh, it's a clean and spotless establishment... they have many seafood dishes on the menu. Although it's not a restaurant per se they provide eating area that is served by staff. It's my go to for crabs in the Baltomore area read more

At first glance, it seems like it's just a seafood shop but they actually have a semi-small dining area. Ordered a bunch of food including their crab fries, snow crabs, shrimp tacos, and seafood platter... and LET ME TELL YOU... everything was DELICIOUS! The blue crabs had tons of meat and left us wanting more! Seems like they have their own boat to go fishing, crabbing, and the likes so you know that they mean business. The people working there were pleasant. For the most part we were left alone but if we needed something, they are quick to help. There are TVs around the dining area so it's a nice place to watch some Sunday football (which we did!) while we were eating. This place seems underrated for what they are... so it's time people hear about them. Check them out if you're ever in the Middle River area and craving some seafood. You won't regret it! *PLEASE GET THE CRAB FRIES. IT WAS SERIOUSLY THE HIGHLIGHT OF OUR MEAL (out of many) read more

This review relates to an online purchase. I ordered a special of 10 jumbo lump crab cakes for 150.00. What I got was a tub of crab cake mix. There was some back fin chunks in the mix, that part was good, fresh. The quality of crabmeat to filler ratio was poor. I wished I would have read the reviews first. Love Vince's! Good people, good service, and good food! Good customer services is extremely hard to come by these days!

We are from out of town and was told this was a great place for seafood platters and crabs. I bought salmon cake platter, it was really bad. It was over cooked, had no flavor to the salmon and tasted more like grease. For the price this was a waste of good money. read more

I am a regular customer and always love their food and prices. Especially for crabs! I have never had bad customer service but today (8/12/22) at 5:45pm just really made me leave smiling. The two young ladies at the counter were so personable and friendly and the gentleman that walked out my crabs was also very respectful. They just went above and beyond to be complimentary and grateful for my patronage. Thank you so much. Also, Emily is always amazing!! read more

Didn't enjoy the crabs. There are many other places to go next time. Plus it took a really long time.

Let me tell you this This place is a treat. Any negative reviews you'll see on this is based off of nonsense from social media garbage. It's not an indication of the food quality and/or service that you receive while you're there. I have always seen them treat people with utmost respect and dignity. Most of the negative reviews on here are from people that either haven't been there or probably can't afford to go there. read more

I love it. Ordered dozen female crabs to go, three corn on the cobs, and corn fritters. The crabs were supposed to be large but I would say they were mediums IMHO. One corn on the cob was undercooked. However, the crabs were cpoked well, not too salty so I still give them a solid 4. read more

Hadn't been in a couple of years but after buying a coupon from Dealhere.com we have been coming here pretty much once a week. I'm still hooked on the stuffed shrimp, it's unlike any other in the face that it is all lump crab meat with an imperial sauce atop tender butterflied shrimp and served in a seashell - my absolute favorite thing on the menu. The blackened scallop platter comes in a close second and I get sweet Thai Chili dipping sauce to dip the scallops in for a sweet and savory treat. Hubby loves the blackened shrimp fettuccine alfredo and the portion is so large he had enough for lunch the next day. The staff is always super friendly but I can always depend on Brittany to give me a good laugh, especially when she's all riled up watching a football game, she is truly the heart and soul of the place. read more

I was impressed with the the amount of crab meat place on top of the crab. I wished the crab cake on top was a little more seasoned. Once you break through the Batter on top, it's a small mountain of crab meat. Once your done with the crab cake you have the actual crab left. The claws and and body Portions was very nice to eat. All in all a great dish to try. It was worth the $16. Try corn and the popcorn shrimp for side. read more

Staff was super friendly and the establishment is very clean. That being said, the food was awful and very disappointing. I lived my entire life in MD and have worked in seafood restaurants for years. Drove down from PA to eat at Vinces, we ordered everything with crab in it! The jumbo lump crab cake had more bread in it than crab meat. The bang bang shrimp tasted old, even sour, far from fresh! Crab mac and chesse was gross and the lobster mac and cheese ever worse. NONE OF THE FOOD WAS SEASONED W OLD BAY AT ALL! They also dont have old bay on any of their tables. We spent well over 100 dollars and the fris were the only thing we liked. Threw away more than half the food. read more

We ordered Vince's on UberEats. The food arrives rather quickly in about 30-40 minutes later. We ordered Shrimp Imperial, Old Bay Wings, Crab Dip, A quesadilla of some sort. The Shrimp Imperial portion was small. The large gulf shrimp were small butterflied Shrimp. The portion of imperial was fine, and it was nicely presented in a giant clam shell, a cute touch. The Quesedilla, smelled a little charred. The wings were ok, mildly seasoned. And I did not try the crab dip. The bread bowl that it came in nearly soaked up all of the dip. All in all, the food was good enough the reputation of the place is "long enough" for me to go in to try the crabs but I'd look elsewhere for the entrees and appetizers we ordered the next time we get an itch for fast seafood. read more
