I was a little hesitant to come here, because there are a couple of Yelp reviews saying that the…read morestaff can be rude. However, that was not my experience at all! I was greeted at the door by the bestest boy/doggo named Teddy and someone who I assumed was one of the owners. The shop is very cute, lots of gnomes, rubber ducks, and fun quotes showcasing the owners' sense of humor. The owner was actually very helpful and gave me tips on how to best enjoy my baked goods. I got ten items for a very reasonable price! Sweet roll: one of their popular items. A roll with warm sugar and cinnamon on the inside and gooey frosting on top, but I can see why they don't advertise it as a cinnamon roll. It doesn't smack you in the face with that cinnamon flavor, but has all the other good parts of the roll. Blueberry muffin: not too sweet and chock full of blueberries and streusel topping! Turnovers: I wasn't a fan of the icing sugar topping, but the puff pastry was light and flaky. I'm sure if I was home and was able to pop it in the oven it would have been amazing! Cupcakes: this was a surprising gem for me. I generally find cupcakes and their frosting to be too sweet, but the actual cake was light on the sugar and balanced well with the buttercream. The cake felt a little dry, but my cupcake was chocolate flavored and sometimes that has an innate dryness to it. I looked online, and they actually have a crazy amount of cool flavors! I would love to come back to try more flavors. All in all, a very pleasant experience, if you're in Corfu you should definitely stop by :)

Between the two of us, we ended up ordering an iced latte, a molasses cookie, a peanut butter brownie and a chocolate almond pretzel pastry. The iced latte had a goodix of milk and espresso. The molasses cookie was perfectly soft yet chewy and had a great molasses flavor along with ginger and cinnamon. The peanut butter brownie was chewy and had a good amount of peanut butter buttercream frosting topping it. I ate the chocolate almond pretzel pastry at a later time and heated it in the air fryer for a few minutes. It was flaky, buttery and flavorful. I would definitely recommend Buttercrumbs & will return if I'm in the area.

Best food I've had since moving here in three years! Eric had the Salmon eggs benedict and I had the Korean chicken and waffle. The coffee is ground by the cup and local coffee company in Canandaigua. Mmmmm... It was an hour drive but worth every mile! The owner was fantastic! Great energy and very friendly. Super quick service! The charming historic school house is charming in every way! Limited seating so best to come on a weekday. They have outdoor seating in the spring through fall. This was one of the spots at the top of my list to try in Naples when visiting for the grape fest…read more I had heard that this was an iconic cafe with some cool history and great food. They had a different setup for the festival so I ordered at their order window and took the pastry to go. I got the grape poptart, which was delicious. They had music out front and a large open space where some people were hanging out. The entire town was very busy for the festival, but we were able to find parking near the cafe. This was a cool experience, but I'd love to visit again when the Naples grape festival isn't happening.

You've got to love this place. I have been out for two Cheese Workshops now and have to say it was…read morea delightful experience each time packed with great information on everything from making amazing artisanal cheeses to how and why to pick the proper ingredients and know where they come from. The farmers (brothers Trystan and Max Sandvoss) have certainly put their time in as to how to run a clean farm and properly care for all of the creatures (goats) living there. You can tell they take care to make sure each animal is properly cared for with good diets, clean shelters, and open rotated grazing spaces. As for the cheese. If you love cheese (even if you just like cheese), you MUST try ALL cheese coming out of this Creamery. I have yet to meet one that I don't like. Even if you don't like goat cheese at all, try the Chèvre. It is so ridiculously light, creamy, and NOT "GOATY"; it's exactly the way it should be. Because they take such care in making sure this cheese is made properly and fresh you are ensured a great cheese every time. New to Farm this year is a Dairy CSA with several options to choose from: Full Dairy, Half, Cheese, and Yogurt shares available (detailed on their website). The milk comes from their family's farm down the road and is Whole (cream on the top) Jersey Milk; the yogurt is from this milk, yum! If you decide to take the workshop, it is a day well lived and worth every penny. You leave with a boatload of knowledge AND a cheese making kit. We received yogurt and granola for breakfast, a home-cooked meal for lunch (made by their mom- how cute is that?!!), each portion made with a different kind of their cheese (including one you make during the class!), dessert, AND cheese samples while you are taking the class! Get to this place and check it out. You won't regret it.

I was at Letchworth State Park's Fall Festival and goats caught my eye (it's a craft festival)…read more After wandering over to take some cute pictures, I realized it was a local cheese vendor when a friendly face asked if we wanted to try some. Finding out that the very people I was talking to were the owners/farmers and goats were some of the cheese contributors was a highlight to my day! The cheese was AMAZING. I had to stop myself from buying them out, perhaps it was lucky I was returning to Washington, DC the next day which prevented me or no one else would have been able to try such great FRESH cheese. They did provide me with a reusable cooler bag for me to take my cheeses on my flight back home. My cheeses made it back to the District and my husband, who is a big goat cheese aficionado, loved them. I haven't been a big goat cheese fan in the past but First Light's hits one out of the park. The next time I am in Buffalo I will be checking out First Light's market schedule to pick up more and I hope to take one of their cheese making classes too! A bonus: they take credit cards including American Express!
