If you want to support a great local business, this is your place. We stopped by this neat little farm as part of maple weekend. They did a great job of feeding and educating visitors for this event. Upon pulling up to the farm we found a garage selling an assortment of delicious treats. There was a table with all the maple syrup including maple candies, cotton candy, ice cream and all sorts of other sweet treats. Then there was another table selling pancakes with their maple syrup which was really good, but even better was the maple chili. I can't even describe how delicious this was, the heartiness of a good chili mixed with a delicious sweet maple syrup flavor, the combination was fantastic! After we finished eating we took a tractor ride out to the house where they work their magic and make their syrup. The workers were very friendly and knowledgeable and taught us a lot about the whole maple making process. It was neat to see all the details first hand and get a look at the many steps involved. I have never been to the Farm BUT i have received their products as a gift. their Maple Syrup is wonderful and i use their Maple Sugar for baking. Excellent products, i am going to call to have some more shipped to me. read more
