Amazing Peanut butter cookies! Perfectly chewy. Bought one on Saturday and went back Sunday to bring some home with me.

This place is on the list of recommended food spots on Bowen Island, offering breakfast foods,…read moresandwiches and light bites. Nice view, friendly service, yummy foods and cozy ambiance makes for a relaxing cafe. Many locals come here to enjoy a soup and sandwich or simply to get a coffee and chill. It's nice & warm to sit by the fireplace to catch up with a friend. And it's a reasonably quiet space where you may find a spot by the window and work on your laptop. I enjoyed their soups and I also liked their pastries and breads. The Godfather sandwich was yummy and their focaccia breads are to my liking. They also have weekend specials which I would recommend trying as they are usually delicious. One of my favorite food combo here: lentil soup and quinoa salad. I find their healthy dishes here are quite good and I am not a huge fan of their "not so healthy" items or fried foods such as fries or chicken fingers. Their menu features a variety of drink options from hot teas to bubbly drinks, or you may choose to add a shot of Bailey or Kahlua to your coffees. Do budget ample time to dine here because they make your foods fresh to order plus there's usually a small line up. This is a cute spot to stop for a bite when visiting Artisan Square and worth the hike on a nice day. Approximately 5 min drive from Snug Cove and can park for free in the Artisan Square parking lot.

Another popular spot amongst the locals and visitors! The cafe was cozy and the food was delicious…read more Prices are also very reasonable. I ordered the tofu scramble bowl for $20 and it was massive!

We were walking and saw a huge line so we continued walking, and then came back and the line was still long! We wanted to get some pasties and coffee so waited patiently (about 10-12 mins) in line. They have such a huge collection of pies, tarts, sausage rolls, croissants, cookies, breads and cinnamon rolls, etc. We couldn't decide what to get and don't want to go crazy as we had bought pasties earlier on from elsewhere, so bought two different cinnamon buns and a latte. The poppy seed and cream cheese cinnamon buns were incredible! Latte was delicious! Haven tried the rhubarb and strawberry cinnamon bun yet but looking forward to it tomorrow! There are limited tables and seats inside but it's crowded. The staff are friendly and the regular locals are amazing! We had a chat with the lovely folks in the line and they were recommending what they love, which was pretty special! I'm giving five stars because they deserve it - their food, drinks and hospitality.

The peanut butter cup cookie was sooooo peanut buttery! Also highly recommend the cinnamon bun and…read morethe appleberry crumble. The chicken pot pie and steak and mushroom pie were delicious as well! Definitely stop by and grab something if you're ever in the area. You can tell it's a well loved bakery by the lineup!
