The pizza and food is a 5 star The service is a 3 or less...Everytime I order from them they're always on their phones. Been here in the food court an hour, he's still in the same spot on his phone. Got Chinese instead to not have to deal with their poor service. Teens these days just wanna make money and not work. Exhibit A.

This is not your typical mall food court pizza place for a few important reasons. 1) Pizza is made from hand stretched dough 2) The pizza is tossed directly onto the oven floor without the use of screens 3) Bubbles are allowed to form in the crust and under the cheese, as they should That is legit pizza, and presumably why it came recommended to me in the first place. Not as an example of great pizza, but rather as remarkably good pizza for a mall. And I totally agree with that assessment. There are some technical pizza critiques for the slice. I like my NY style pizza slices super thin, and Villa Pizza delivers on that. However, they still have to be thick enough to be structurally sound after being crisped up in the oven. And both the slices I had from Villa failed that test. For this style pie, I like to see more lift in the end crust, and the pies I've seen from this pizza counter have unfortunately flat crusts. You may not mind either of these details, and that's fine. But when a slice of their specialty pie is four bucks, and even a slice of cheese is more than three bucks, I'm looking for a higher level of quality to justify the price. Not that it's expensive. It's just expensive for a slice of pizza. Three stars feels a bit too low for a place that's making pizza right. But Villa just didn't rise up to the four star mark. They've clearly got the basics down, but the structural integrity from a soft bottom crust even after an oven crisping, holds the shop back from being a place where I would take the fat, calorie, and carb hits of a pizza slice.

Best Pizza in the area for sure. Friendly staff and great service. Dough, sauce and cheese are all mad in house and it shows!

This was the only place I would choose to eat at when I was a kid shopping with family at Clifton Country Mall.

Alright... The BEAST has spoken. Let's break this one down honestly. Yesterday for lunch I grab a…read moreslice of 2 Coming in hot with a 3.5-star rating, this spot almost hits that elite tier--but there are a few things holding it back from greatness. First off, presentation and crust game? Solid. You're getting a good bake, decent structure, and slices that hold their own. Not floppy, not overly stiff right in that respectable middle lane. That's a win. Now let's talk about the sauce... because this is where things get mixed. Taking a look at some of the chatter on Yelp, there's a noticeable trend and I've got to agree. The sauce is inconsistent. Some bites hit with a nice tang and balance, but others feel either a little too sweet or lacking depth. It doesn't always punch through the cheese like you want it to. For a place trying to compete in the pizza game, sauce consistency is everything--and right now, it's just not elite. Cheese and toppings are good--not mind-blowing, but definitely respectable. No complaints there. Quality is there, just not standout.

Probably not, but I was hungry. *shrug* I got a slice of cheese, a slice of BBQ chicken and a bottled water for just under six bucks. Great deal! They're nice, big, classic NY slices. The flavor seemed a bit mild to me, but that could've been the fluoride treatment affecting my taste buds. Regardless, the pies looked and tasted good. Clean oven = no soot on the bottom, unlike some lazy places. Chatted with the owner for a bit and he seemed like a nice guy. The shop only has a few small tables, so it's probably more of a takeout / delivery place unless you're just looking for a quick snack. Definitely recommend giving Pizza Palace a try!

Still this is my favorite pizza place in the area... it really is. I know up here they like crispy…read morepizza crust and that drives me up the wall because I prefer to fold it and not have to worry about broken crust caught between my teeth, etc.... so this one was really that good to make me look past that. But it's the quality assurance of this place.... half the time you order on a Saturday and their system accepts the order, the DoorDash driver comes by and "whoops!" they're closed. Then you ask when they open and they'll say 10am... and someone says "we had a family emergency"... and while I get that, how about you turn off the ordering system to accept the orders so I'm not out the money and the driver doesn't waste time driving to pick up the food? Then sometimes you'll get a great saucy pizza (which I love).... but other times, someone just decides to be lazy and take a pizza they've had sitting around under the counter for slices and just use that. So you paid $15+ for a pizza to be cooked fresh and you get a pizza that's dry and tastes like someone reheated the whole pizza. That was the last straw for me because they do it so many times... both of those things. Great pizza sauce, great pizza, but OMG, I can tell why I never see anyone inside your pizza place whenever I go... And they haven't changed... they used to sometimes just burn the crap out of the pizza too... you'd get a pizza that crumbles in your hand under it, or sometimes you'll get a crust with a huge bubble in the middle because they just didn't care. And that's why I stopped ordering from them... just laziness and no one is really around to make sure they don't do these things...... shame, really.

The subway of pizza spots if you will. 5th or 6th time through and it's the same story in a good way. The build-your-own setup keeps things easy, and the fast-fired oven still gives that solid char you want. For a non-traditional spot, it hits above its weight. The ingredients tasted fresh again, and having full control over toppings makes it hard to walk away disappointed. Service stayed quick and efficient, no slowdown, no issues. It's not trying to be a classic pizzeria, and it doesn't need to be. It knows its lane and executes it well. BEAST Breakdown: * Consistency: Same quality as the first visit * Crust/Fire: Good char, quick cook * Ingredients: Fresh, customizable * Service: Fast and reliable Final Verdict: 4.0 / 5 - "Back-to-back solid visits." Not a fluke this place is dependable. The BEAST says if you want fast, customizable pizza that actually tastes good, this is a repeat stop.

A customer let them in and the group ahead of my husband was served, and my husband was told after waiting in line that they were closed and was sent out. That is how we treat customers before closing time? We let them stand in the line and wait for others to be served before telling them they are not serve served? And it's hard to ignore, it was the black customer that was not served after waiting in line.
