a sandwich and fries on a tray

This place has quickly become a favorite of ours since we moved into the neighborhood. A to go order of flat breads may have saved our first night at the new house! They're consistently quick and reliable and we love the flatbreads. Most recently we finally dined in. The service was kind and pretty efficient. The food was excellent as always. My turkey sandwich was a perfect combo of crispy bread and gooey cheese. The veggies added awesome flavors. The sweet potato and regular fries were both excellent! The star of the show could have been that herbed mayo!

I was going to another restaurant in this area, but found tat the hours had changed, not open until 1PM . So I headed here, always a good choice. I ordered the Old Country Chicken Sandwich along with Onion Rings, and Peroni with a cold glass. The beer was soon on the table accompanied by an ice cold glass. The food was soon there, about. 10 minutes out of the kitchen, and as I've said before that is not always a good thing - and in this instance it was not especially good. Both the thin chicken pattie and the onion rings were commercial products with no hint of freshness, and the chicken was dry and could have been any kind of protein. Don't know what old country that chicken was from but I get the old part. Neither is something I'd order again. I think this was just an unfortunate menu choice because my previous meals here had been very good. I will be back, but with different choices!

Where has this been all my life? We just moved around the corner last week and have gotten take out 3 times. The menu is diverse and the pizza are actually large delicious flatbreads with quality ingredients. Service has been so friendly and kind, food is piping hot, and it's ready fairly quickly. Easily located in the Harris Teeter shopping center. Definitely now one of our go-tos!

Headed in to VG for the first time before a horse trail ride. It was pretty busy on a Sunday afternoon. Our server was very nice she was friendly with the table and got us all we needed. It was a pretty causal vibe and we were just there for something quick to eat. The order was mainly burgers and sandwiches I got what they called souvlaki which didn't seem like the traditional plate I'm used to but it wasn't bad at all. I added the picture below. It was more chicken over greens w some tzatziki and flatbread. The side of veggies was good. We also had onion rings that were really tasty I like how they season the batter. A bunch of tables around us went with their pizza or flatbread option and those looked decent as well I'd return to try those. The prices were really fair for what they give you as well. I would return here but it wouldn't be my choice for authentic Greek fare.

Quick easy spot for lunch. I saw they had "pow pow shrimp" on their specials menu and I knew it was for me! A spin on "bang bang shrimp" with the creamy Thai chili sauce with sriracha. This had really nice plating for a more casual eatery and it was really good. I wasn't terribly hungry so I just ordered the pow pow shrimp appetizer with a side of fries. The fries here are GREAT. Fried to absolute perfection and they have a really nice seasoning on them! I paired it with ranch and they were delicious. My mom got the philly cheesesteak which you can get with beef tips or shredded beef. It was cheesy and the bun was nice and toasty. The chips were fried to perfection and had the seasoning as well. She said it was the best hot chips she's had. My only complaint is that the price point is a bit high for the fact that it's still a fairly casual place in my opinion, especially for lunch. Still a nice spot.

2022...lots of 2's there. I have dedicated 2022 to giving places second chances because anyone can have a bad day. Todays second chance was given to Villa grill. 2 years ago I had one of the worst eating experiences EVER. I was once again craving cheesesteak so I thought I would give it another go, even though I swore I would never go back there. Some things never change. My wife and I ordered cheesesteaks with SHAVED meat. We specified shaved because it was an option on the menu. We got our waters quickly and that was the only thing that came quickly other than the regret of giving this place a second chance. WE WAITED AN HOUR FOR CHEESESTEAK. Our server was nice and apologized profusely blaming the delay in take-out orders. What a load of garbage! Orders should be prepped in order of the time ticketed in the kitchen. So we waited and almost left. An hour later our food came. The fries and onion rings must have gone up in value because both were scarce. Not much of them. The cheesesteaks WERE NOT shaved. They were chopped. If you look at my previous review, I complained about he meat being in large strips. Again, the meat was devoid of any flavor. I think this meat comes in precooked and all they do is reheat it. Salt, tons of pepper and Mayo gave a little flavor and also some From The peppers, onions and mushrooms. The star of the meal was the ROLL. It was perfectly toasted. But it gets worse, throughout our meal there was loud, sharp "BANGS" Coming from the kitchen which was about 20 feet away. Sounded like someone slamming things on hard surface. They were so loud and sharp it startled me several times and became very annoying and distracting. When I asked the server about it, the server told me it was "someone getting mad". Great, bad food with a bad attitude. Sums it right up. Our server was good. It was unfortunate they he had to try to cover for the Shlebs in the kitchen. Maybe they should drop the cheesesteak from The menu. Maybe I should have ordered some Thing else. It was crowded. People tell Me good things about this place. But for me and my Money, we shan't come here again. We are done. Or maybe I should come back and show them how to make a decent cheesesteak and not throw tempers tantrums in the kitchen.

Underwhelming. No dish was as good as hoped for. No dish exceeded the bottom value of expectation. They also hung their OPEN flag at 11am, but then complained when we came in that they don't open until 11:15. Sure, but then why fly the OPEN flag and get upset at us? Of the 5 people who ate, only one, a ten year old girl, was satisfied with the food. The adults knew this was a place to skip going forward.

Flatbreads are awesome here!! It's a small place with limited seating so if you're in a rush call ahead and order for pick up/take out!

Great atmosphere and service; fairly priced. The burger did almost make me throw up shortly after eating it. Fries were great though.

Always freshly made and good flavor. The hummus and pita is simple and very tasty. The falafel wrap, simple traditional and freshly made is a hearty meal with great flavors and ingredients. The Spanakopita is also very traditionally prepared, simple and so tasty with yogurt dip on the side another good choice. The Chicken Souvlaki is also quiet flavorful, the chicken is grilled tender and nicely seasoned, served with your choice of side and yogurt dip with pita. Simple, traditionally made and good flavor. 3.5 Stars rounded up for the friendly service and consistent quality 01111

The meat is cut in thin, rectangular slices, indicating it is minced and molded into a rectangular shaped loaf and then cooked - it is definitely not shaved from a spit to order! This is much like that served at Mad Greek Grill in Kernersville and High Point. The pita was well filled, the vegetables were fresh, but the Gyro is about the meat and in several ways, the meat here simply didn't cut it. The taziki was very nice, in fact it was the best part of the item. Pretty sure this was my last visit.

We were running errands and in the general area of Olive Tree Deli when my wife recalled the original location is in Winston. We enjoy there newer Olive Tree Diner at the Colin Creek Golf Course in Mocksville. We decided to check it out and arrived close to 9:30 am. We both agreed the building looks like a former Taco Bell. There is adequate parking and it is easy to find. Although we only perused the breakfast menu, we saw the menu board behind the counter featuring lunch and dinner options. We both agreed we need to come back and check out the rest of the menu. We ended up ordering breakfast. The man at the counter was friendly and efficient. My wife ordered the 3-egg omelet with bacon, no cheese. She requested sliced tomatoes instead of potatoes and toast. I ordered the bacon, egg and cheese sandwich on a bun. The prices are extremely reasonable and the place appears to be clean and taken care of. We took a seat and there was a steady stream of customers. Our food took a bit to arrive and my wife was immediately underwhelmed with her food. Granted, the prices are very inexpensive, but the omelet was very small and simply underwhelming. She also felt the tomatoes were too ripe. The menu for lunch and dinner options sounded much more appealing to us. We decided we would be willing to come back and try again but not for breakfast. Also, we recommend not coming here with any expectation it is anything like the location in Mocksville. Our experience in Mocksville has always been great - completely different vibe.
