Such a beautiful wedding venue and I've loved having the opportunity to photograph here. The ceremony space is perfectly shaded and surrounded by the prettiest greenery, which photographs so beautifully throughout the day. The checkered floor inside the venue adds such a fun touch to photos, and the view from the bridal suite is absolutely stunning. We knew the moment we walked into the garden that Villa Chanticleer was where we were going to get married. It spoke to us right away and during our tour it just kept getting better and better. The property is amazing and the building is rich with history and just as gorgeous. We were obsessed with the wrap around bar. That was the second huge selling point. Everyone we worked with was absolutely incredible. We were passed through a few different hands but every hand off was seamless and our information was always relayed with ease. We could not have had a more perfect day. Jaimie was incredible for keeping me in line when I was getting ahead of things and was quick to reassure me of any of my concerns. She was always available and ready for anything that came her way. Our wedding day was magical. It could not have gone any better. The building had a fresh coat of paint. The garden was in full bloom. I highly recommend anyone looking to get married in the spring and fall to check out the Villa. With a garden like that, you don't need to spend a ton on flowers! read more

This is more a review for the adjacent trail system than for the Villa itself. Which is gorgeous, and apparently (from other reviews) a fantastic place to get married. I hope, in fact, that I get invited to a wedding here someday so I can experience the bespoke service and delicious nibbles that prior reviewers seem to rave about. But the Saturday I visited here, there was no wedding in sight. Just a steep set of gorgeous and relatively well-maintained trails that's clearly a local Healdsburg secret. The trip to the top of Fitch Mtn is no joke, but worth it on a clear spring day. Bring a little picnic -- perhaps even a bota of local vino -- and bask in the remarkable views of the expensive real estate arrayed out below you in the charming if slightly froufrou town of Healdsburg. p.s. While I don't intend to get married anytime soon, I am considering getting a dog. And from the looks of things this is a very pup-friendly open space area too. :) read more

My wife and I just recently got married at the Villa Chanticleer in Healdsburg, CA. Leilani was the venue event coordinator and we are incredibly happy with our experience as a whole. Villa Chanticleer could not have been a better venue choice for our Wedding. The venue itself is BEAUTIFUL. The ceremony site and lawn area were gorgeous and surpassed our wishes for what we dreamed it would look like. The reception hall and bar areas really hit the mid-century modern vibe and were perfect for our wedding. We were very happy with Leilani and Villa Chanticleer all the way from first visit last year to now. Leilani was extremely helpful and easy to work with for site visits, venue questions, and day-of management. She had an answer to every question and had recommendations that we utilized for the big day. We did have one small issue regarding our beverage plan with the bartenders that was immediately resolved once discussed with Leilani. The bartenders were on it and we were super appreciative of their warm welcoming vibes. Everything was smooth sailing and we could not be happier with the results. If you are considering Villa Chanticleer, know that you will be taken care of. It was a truly amazing experience. read more

Leilani was so helpful during the whole process, which of course is such a stressful planning process. She gave a very detailed walkthrough of the venue, including what could be expected in the days leading up to and after the wedding. The window before, during, and after was generous which was a stress relief regarding setup and breakdown. read more

We just had our wedding at Villa Chanticleer last weekend and it was absolutely perfect! This is such a wonderful venue for any time of the year. We loved working with Leilani, the venue manager. She was great and answered all of our questions and was also in contact with our wedding planner. We received so many compliments about our wedding venue, all of our guests loved it! Another aspect we liked about Villa Chanticleer is that you can keep the party going until 11pm, which is much later than most venues. Highly recommend! read more

Beautiful and excellent spot for festive occasions. I've attended weddings and even a prom here. The grassy and wooded area outside is wonderfully verdant and perfect for picture-taking. Tons of space inside for families as big as mine. The bar space in the middle has always been dear to me and that wood flooring inside can tell loads of disco tales. read more

8/15/1010 Gorgeous room, well run events. I've attended two weddings here in the last 10 years, yesterday's wedding was all the good things a wedding should be and this space helps make it all work. Outside, multiple rooms, oak trees, shade! A staff member who looks just like Mr Clean (bald head, big gold earrings in both ears) keeps everyone moving so the event stays on track. An amazingly beautiful and historic destination location for your special event! Our family has been visiting this venue since the late 1960's and it has always held a special place in our hearts. In recent years, they have added a dog park down below and a kind of lame little playground. Better restrooms are really a necessity! Plenty of parking unless your group is in the hundreds of attendees. You won't be disappointed ! The arbor is beautiful in the spring and summer, the fireplace and bar are other wonderful features, the views are amazing. read more

Leilani made the experience a delight. We got this venue at a more than generous rate as it is a city owned facility and we opted for a weekday. They even let us get the evening before for the rehearsal included. One of the times we stopped by to get measurements of the gazebo, I stepped on an ant hill in the garden and got swarmed. Ended up stripping down to my skivies but wasn't harmed. By the day of our wedding, the ants had been removed and all the seating had been arranged. His and hers dressing rooms were made available and they even went as far as to help in queuing the wedding party during the precession. It's a lovely spot hidden in the hills with redwoods and romance. Get married here or be in envy. Anna would like to add that they went above and beyond for morning of needs. read more

My friend recently got married here and the grounds are beautiful! It is such a romantic setting...a perfect place for an intimate wedding. I love the towering trees surrounding the gazebo and the roaming deer on the hill. Don't worry, there is a fence separating the ceremony site from the deer so you don't have to worry about any unexpected four-legged guests. I cant say the same about the bugs...saw plenty, but didn't get any bites :) For all the fabulous ladies who are planning to visit this location, the best advice I have for you is to wear flats or platform shoes. Avoid stilettos because the uneven terrain is a challenge to traverse. I stumbled at least 4 times on the uneven pavement when I arrived. Also, try to get there early to park at the top level near the ceremony sight. If that fills up, you can park in the lower level near the playground---but the stairs that lead up to the upper level are tough!!!! There is no railing and it's also very uneven. If you use a walker or cane, I recommend taking the ramp or asking someone to assist you up the stairs. Once your inside, all you have to worry about is not spilling your drink while you dance the night away! read more
