When I contacted my insurance company to file a claim for a sewer line break under my manufactured home, they contacted Mike Tedder who immediately called me to make an appointment to assess the damage. He discovered that not only was shoddy repair work done by the plumber I originally hired, he also diagnosed a second sewer line break that the previous plumber charged me for but did not detect/repair. The break was not recent; consequently, there was ample evidence of the break that the original plumber should have detected. Additionally, there was water damage to the sub-floor in the first bathroom. Had Mike not found this and corrected it I would have had a much larger problem! As soon as Mike diagnosed the problems he immediately began the repair work which took several days and on two occasions he continued his work into the evening hours! Mike showed me how he diagnosed the problems and he communicated the repairs at each and every step. Mike is extremely professional, knowledgeable, and dedicated to his work and to his customers. I cannot recommend Mike Tedder highly enough and I will definitely rely on him for any repairs in the future!!!

Obie and Lena showed up and were incredible right from the beginning- especially since I had no idea where to start and was extremely overwhelmed with how disorganized and messy my apartment had become. They got right too work. We shared some great conversations and a few laughs. They were very diligent in getting all of my various bags unpacked and put away. I was not anticipating that they would even do and fold my laundry- which was one of the most daunting tasks. The kitchen is spotless. The clutter is gone. The bathroom is sparkling. Bags and suitcases that have been hanging around for months were finally unpacked, organized and everything was put away in its rightful home. Don't think he realized I was working from home and was able to observe the entire process (not once did he ever come to the site). And he does everything verbally so you have no leg to stand on and cannot prove that you agreed to something completely different than what you ended up getting. The only written thing that is done between you and Terry is that you agree to a certain dollar amount before the work is performed. The rest of the contract is verbal so it can change multiple times if you question anything. My bad for automatically trusting him because he was brought to my property by a pool company. Long story short, if you run into a "hard dig" situation (which is where I had a separate contract with Terry from the pool company "to save me money"), stop work and get quotes. And if you must work with Terry Stevens and Five Point Excavating, get a written contract so you can hold him to something.
