It was really expensive which I was fine with but my dress was way too long still at my wedding to the point where I was stepping on it during my wedding and it actually ended up tearing. As professionals who alter dresses I was expecting that they would know what the right length was. There were other hiccups such as putting in cups in the chest area to eventually having to remove them. I tried the dress on when I went to pick it up and the chest area would not fit. I let them know that I could not wear the dress like that so they removed the cups. Overall, I am disappointed with the service I got. I bought an expensive dress, paid a lot for alterations at amazing alterations and now have a dress that is completely ruined and was difficult to wear on my wedding day due to the length.

It does get a bit nerve wracking when they bring out the scissors and start cutting your dress, but don't worry they are professionals and know what they are going. When I asked them to add a modestly panel to the front of my dress so they added a piece of lace to my dress that looked like the designer meant to to be there. It looked amazing!

I asked for a refund, they refused. They talked down to me and made me feel stupid and basically told me they could charge me whatever they wanted and I'd have to pay it to get my clothes back. None of their pricing is online and they don't tell you up front they plan to rob you. I won't be back.

I was charged a total of $190.00. Never again! Highway robbery plus on white sweater with stains - weren't removed at all. Let's mention this "I left the store without a pair of dress slacks". Received a text message "don't know what the mix up was but we have a pair of slacks." They offered a $20.00 credit not a refund claiming I was mad when I picked up the garments. I was shocked, I've had a lot more placed in the cleaners at Clarks and paid $60 -$70. I will never use their services again and that damn credit to avoid using their services I will sell or give that so called credit to a friend or someone in need. The only flaw I see is the price of a dress purchased elsewhere cost $75 to alter them bottom hem. It seemed kind of steep but I will say Nordstrom was the ONLY place in Spokane that had time to alter the dress within a two week period! Wasn't ready when promised two weeks ago, and now store has been closed every time the sign on door says they are supposed to be open. Our kid leaves again tomorrow without their needed work clothes. No one answers phone, no way to contact owner, don't know what to do. So much for that Christmas present . . .

I went to Nina last summer to get my dress done after being referred by honest in ivory. The only…read moretime I spoke with her was when I was paying, the rest of the time I only worked with her assistant. I described what I wanted, which were some very minor changes (shortening the straps, hem, and bustle). The result was not what I wanted as it made the dress lay weirdly on my bust, which I had indicated as a concern prior to the work being done. She charged me more money to then fix the mistake, making the alterations cost way more than I had budgeted for. When I had the final try on my dress it was very unflattering in the places I had expressed concern about but it was too close to my wedding day to fix it. I went home in frustrated tears. That is not how you should feel when your wedding dress (that you spent a lot of money on) is completed. I'm sure she is great at custom gowns, but she seems to have little interest in minor alterations. My friend, who was also my maid of honor, went there even after I told her this and had a very similar experience.
